“Daverns is a very popular bar. The staff is nice and attentive. Because of its popularity sometimes you have to wait a little bit but what can you expect on weekend when you’ve got a big crowd, live music & people enjoying themselves with a feel good atmosphere? The outdoor area is great and live music performs there during the summer months and inside during the colder months. There are bag games to play and if you want to host an adult birthday party or an event in a bar type of atmosphere this is the place to have it. They have a special event area in the back and if you like to play slots, there are some slots located in the front. While I don’t drink we have friends that do and we have been patronizing Daverns for years as our friends and my husbands bands play here . We haven’t really ordered food from here yet so I can’t review the food. I’m just reviewing the service and the atmosphere. They have specials from time to time and just really seem to me that they are all about the customers and running a great bar business. We have been treated so well every time we come which is why we keep coming back. So if you’re in the Justice area and want to stop at a great little bar/lounge give Daverns a try. .“

“Went here for the first time. I had the 1/2 lb Classic burger, medium rare, with Pepper Jack cheese and fries. My friend had the Al Pastor tacos. The burger was very well seasoned and cooked perfectly. Fries were wonderful. I normally can't eat a whole 1/2 lb burger. I couldn't stop eating this one. My friends Al Pastor tacos, on a flour tortilla, had a generous amount of meat, more than anywhere else we have been and it tastes fantastic, with just a hint of heat. Our Margaritas, made with Metzcal were delicious.“

“I attended a music show for my neighbor rock band, and they have an event hall with a bar and food service, so I enjoyed the show while having dinner and a drink.
The food was delicious and came in with a large generous portion.

“Dropped into this spot a couple times on my way home from shopping. You can tell it's a local type of dive where the folks all pretty much know each other. Though I was an outsider, I was properly greeted by a few and the customer service was good and friendly. It's the other few that look at you like you don't belong, especially if you're on a slot game they want.“

“The food was great. Love the onion rings. The host on the other hand, told my sister that we had to move to a different seating because the seat we was sitting at originally is for more than two people. So we moved to a different seat. Two caucasian lady come in and sit at the same table we moved from and nothing at all was said to them. We later was told that we can seat ourselves, which makes this situation even more confusing. “Listen, I'm not gonna preach and say this place is the best place ever or say this place beats everywhere else. But I can guarantee you that you will have an amazing experience. The bartenders are amazing and caring, the regulars are entertaining and welcoming, and the beer is ice cold and refreshing. Everytime I'm here, I always have an exciting and inclusive conversations with everyone. I'm a fan of hole in the wall kind of places.
