“I think Buona is great because every time I go there, the food and service never disappoint me. The employees are always friendly and efficient, which makes me feel welcomed and taken care of. I really enjoy the food because it’s flavorful, fresh, and consistently well prepared, especially the Italian beef, which is one of my favorites. The atmosphere is comfortable, and my order is always ready quickly without feeling rushed. Overall, Buona stands out to me because it gives me a reliable, enjoyable experience with great service and great food every time.“

“This place serves amazing Halal fried chicken and Chinese. We ordered the spicy chicken like quarters, combo fried rice, and beef lo mein.
The trays are big portions and the prices are very reasonable. The spicy fried chicken was amazing. Crispy and flavorful.“

My sister and I had the Tri Tip, Brisket, and I brought home a Reuben for later. Everything was mouth watering and delicious...make the trip. You will not be disappointed. “We ordered the Knockout and a rice bowl for takeout, but the order got a little late, so we ended up breaking our fast at the restaurant. My wife really loved the Knockout. The rice bowl was a bit spicy for me, but still tasted good, the guy in the specs was doing everything at once, taking orders, packing, and answering calls and he was moving fast, so no complaints about the service. Overall, good food and a good experience.“

“We went with our Burger Club to Lucky Burgers (a.k.a. Jelly Cafe after dark or 4pm, whichever comes first).
Jelly Cafe is a breakfast and lunch place open 7am until 2pm. Then they switch over to Lucky Burgers which is open from 4pm until no one is there and they want to go home. Though technically I think they’re open until 8 or 9pm.
There are a handful of items on the Lucky Burgers’ menu: about 5 variations of their classic burger, a chicken sandwich, chicken tenders, and waffle fries.
When we went, the place was empty and never got busy. Which opened the door for one of the owners, Scott, to regale us with tales of days gone by from his childhood in Evanston and the famous people he knew, grew up with, and worked with. It was nice hearing these stories and it was nice to give Scott something and somebodies to talk to as well.
The place has a large parking lot and is nice and clean on the inside. There is a tiny area with slot machines and a small bar/counter at the entrance.
The burgers are all smashburgers. They come as singles or double patties. Go for the double as there’s not a whole lot of meat once they’re smashed. The differences are the toppings. Scott recommends their housemade dijonaise sauce which is good, but ask for it on the side. The cook slathers it on the burger and that’s all you can taste. Once I scooped (you read that correctly) the sauce off my burger, it was a pretty good burger. The meat is seasoned well and cooked nicely and the bun holds up (despite dripping in dijonaise).
We all shared the chicken tenders as an appetizer. Five nice sized tenders come in the meal and you can choose your dipping sauce. Scott recommended their honey mustard which was very good and the ranch wasn’t bad either.
He is also johnny-on-the-spot to refill fill your drinks. I seriously thought that I would float away.
The best part is the price. All said and done for a burger, waffle fries, and a soda, with tax and tip is like $15-$18 bucks.
It’s a nice place that I need to go back to and visit for the Jelly Cafe side. AND return for their burgers, tenders, and more of Scott’s stories.“

“Nice in hotel restaurant/bar. Service was excellent and loved the look of it. We had burgers which were very generous in size. Tasted good, partly because black Angus, but overall good. Got them to go since we weren't staying at that hotel. They were done and ready to go very quickly!“

“I went in with my dad and expected a good burger and not much else. I couldn't even believe how much more I got. From the moment I got there, Alexander, the guy manning the cash register was so helpful, informative, and kind without being overbearing. I was mind blown how much he cared about his job. It left a huge impression. Turns out he was the general manager, which made sense, haha. The burger itself was so much better than I expected. I will be going back for sure. Amazing, extremely memorable experience.“

“Standard BK, not bad, except, i feel they over salt everything at this location. The fries and nuggets have been super salty the last 3 times I've been. They always have fresh Tacos though, so that is good. And yes BK has a taco on the menu!“

“We tried this after watching Phil Goode’s review on their smash burger- we tried the burger, pork belly bites and the traditional wings with Jerk sauce and also XXX-Hot.
The smash burger was absolutely fantastic. Fries that came with it are seasoned but we think they would be so much better fresh cut. Pork belly also fantastic and melts in your mouth- The wings themselves we thought were a tad dry and overdone BUT were very flavorful. The Jerk sauce was very good. The XXX - hot has outstanding flavor but if you truly like spicy food it is not hot but again the flavor of this sauce is top notch. Staff was exceptional.We will definitely be back!“

This was also ordered to be delivered at 7:30 AM so they accommodated the early time for us - making all of our workers and drivers happy.“

“I had a great experience at Five Guys, and a big part of that was thanks to Amanda. From the moment I walked in, she made the atmosphere feel welcoming and comfortable with her warm personality and positive attitude. She greeted customers with a genuine smile and was extremely patient, friendly, and attentive throughout the entire visit. Amanda took the time to make sure everything was correct with my order and didn’t make the interaction feel rushed, even when the place was busy. It’s clear she truly cares about providing excellent customer service and making people feel appreciated. Employees like Amanda really make a difference and turn a simple meal into a pleasant experience. Because of her, I’ll definitely be coming back to this location. Five Guys is lucky to have her on their team!
