“My first time at the Modern Plate today. I was blown away by the beautiful dining and club room. The food is absolutely amazing and filling. The owner Ted is a very passionate man about his restaraunt, and I admire that. It absolutely shows that there is concern and care that goes into every corner of the Modern Plate. Now, I was here for an event in the club room, but rest assured, I WILL be coming here for just the dining experience and the food. I live about 50min away, but it is...THAT good. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a beautiful dinner and a night on the town.“

“I don't even know where to begin. The service is always above and beyond awesome (♡ Ruby and Dahlia)! This is a family owned business (and owner and family are always there working their butts off and checking to see everyone is happy) and it is obvious that they take pride in what they serve and they really appreciate their customers. I have ordered many different dishes from the menu and everything is always delicious and hot and cooked exactly as I ordered. The margaritas are top notch. My absolute favorite is the cucumber magarita. Make sure to try their tableside guac...so good!!! Carne Asada is excellent. “We ate at Phase Three today at the recommendation of my doctor. And it did NOT disappoint. We even got a complimentary meal from the Executive Chef so he didn’t waste the plate after taking pictures of his new special. To say the food was amazing is an understatement. There were so many flavors and they all blended so dang well. They even had some unique beer option that we brought home. If your down in the Chicago area or willing to make the trip, it’s definitely worth it“

The pizza is th Star !!
Last few times the food was not as on par with the first 3-4 times.
Staff was slow and food was slow.
The first few times i went was when they first opened.

“Customer service is great. I had the roasted chicken and tamales. There were pieces of corn in every bite of the tamale, and the chicken was moist. Do not forget to try a margarita.“

“Brewpoint is a gem in the Western suburbs of Chicago. I am entirely blessed to live blocks from their craft location on York. Exposed brick, chandeliers, and a plant wall surrounds you - a grateful reprieve from cookie cutter Starbucks decor. Coffee, matcha, and baked goods are top notch (haven't tried cocktails or charcuterie yet). A wonderful mix of professionals, college students, community organizers, and socially conscious suburban moms escaping the kids (I'm sure I'm missing wonderful others). Sometimes I'm not sure how I manage to keep living in the suburbs when the city is still home for me after 10 years in Elmhurst, but Brewpoint certainly makes it easier.“

“I visited the bloohol today because I like oxtails and the reviews said the oxtails were good. Well just let me say this !! The owner let me take a peek at them before I left and they looked and smelled delicious. So I went to the car and took a bite SMH why did I do that I could not stop eating them !! They were very fresh, tender and flavorful. The rice they came with was a perfect compliment to the oxtails and tasted good too and I am not a rice person. I did not make it home with my dinner !! I had dinner in the car and licked every finger loudly and proudly. If you like oxtails do yourself a favor you got to try bloohol !!“

Went back second time with a relative, got the shrimp diablo......should have taken the server's advice about the heat, but I didn't, therefore I suffered 🥲 the consequence......she was awesome though and had the heat taken down for me. Owner came out to greet guests and was super sweet. This place is a hidden jewel that has some of the best Mexican food in the area. “This hotel is perfectly located roughly equidistant between O’Hare and Wrigley. Depending on the time and day, you can get a very reasonably-priced Uber ride to either location. It is also within walking distance of several great restaurants. Le Meridian is clean and modern, and in a very safe area. Our room on the second floor was also very clean and modern. The front desk staff is very friendly and helpful. The only downsides: no free coffee in the morning, a bit noisy at night, and the mattress is so comfortable, it makes me realize how uncomfortable my mattress is at home!“
