“I have nothing but compliments for this wonderful establishment! My fiancé and I went out to dinner last night and had a taste for authentic Italian. I found this place online and read nothing but wonderful reviews about the food, and service. Located in downtown Westmont. Parking was so easy (right across the street), and from the moment we walked in we were treated like royalty. The manager Sergio greeted us with a huge smile, sat us, and told us a little about the restaurant. Our server Alysa was nothing short of amazing, knowledgeable, and gave us wonderful recommendations. We felt like family! All of the food is made in house, pastas, sauces, and even the wine and desserts! You can taste the quality of the ingredients, and tell that every single person puts so much care into making sure every customer is happy. The whole experience was wonderful, and it’s so nice to see small (not chain restaurants) are thriving. It’s been a long time since we had an experience like this at a restaurant and we appreciate their hospitality! I think we found our new date night spot! We will be back!! OFTEN! “So today I had a friend in from out of town and we topped off our afternoon with a visit to Miski Bakery. I was dying to try the alfajores, and they did not disappoint! The very delicate morsels melted in our mouth, and the creamy luscious dollop of dulce de leche caramel was a perfect pairing. In addition we tried the Milhojas/Napoleons in two flavors the Lucuma pastry creme and also the dulce de leche. A thousand layers is correct, these were amazingly tall, crispy and filled with air, both were delicious but the Lucuma(a Peruvian fruit) pastry creme was the standout. It had such a delightful delicate flavor I had never tasted previously. After speaking with Carmen the owner I asked whether or not they ever carried Turrón de doñja Pepa. She just happened to have some freshly baked sitting on the tray behind the counter, but alas it was still awaiting its filling. This gives me a great reason to return and indulge in that special treat. It is prepared every other week. The service was warm and friendly. This is definitely a hidden gem in the neighborhood you shouldn't miss out on. I will be returning often.“

We had curry with rice, drunken noodles, and two orders of “chef’s gone crazy”—the chef cooked whatever he wanted for us and they were both pleasant surprises! Everything was delicious, and I have to say that their 3/5 spice level is a pretty solid 3/5. You could definitely taste the spiciness, but it wasn’t the main star of the show. If you like your food spicy, I’d say even go higher.“

“From the second we arrived the girls at hostess stand were jovial and inviting. Then waitress and chef table side appetizer and dinner were fantastic! Ordered more food than our table of four could eat, but we got to try a variety of entrees. Everything was top notch quality. Order the Lemoncello shots to round out your dinner! “Bar and liquor store combo with a great atmosphere, friendly staff, and a great selection of whiskey and beer.

We had our rehearsal dinner there, and it was exactly what we wanted. Very much our style. Saved us a bunch of money doing it there vs our other options. And the nice thing was that we were able to cater whatever food we wanted there.

We also got the spirits for our wedding through them. They had the best prices from everything we vetted, and we were able to return all the unopened bottles that were leftover after the event.

“I came here on a Thursday night. I had the basil shrimp with vermicelli noodles. It was a 10/10 across the board! The only difference is it could use a little more flavor (for my taste personally) so I added some type of red spicy sauce and it was even better! I also tried their Thai iced tea for the first time which was refreshing. I love how lowkey the restaurant is. It’s very small, but still an intimate setting for a date or family. Our waitress was very attentive, while still being productive. She made an error on a friend of mine’s card and she quickly corrected the error before we left the restaurant. The restaurant gives me a homey feel & I appreciate my entire experience. I would definitely come back here! Especially with the homemade food for a steal!“

“Would definitely recommend their double dough pizza. All their food is great but their double dough pizza is what I think they are the best at. I work nearby and every time people ask where is a great place to eat, I always recommend Grand Stand if they have a taste for pizza. Plus I just ordered from them late last night, my order was esitmated for 11:30, they got my house at 10:50. Very fast, very delicious, and very fresh.“

Unfortunately, this time I didn't order any food however, the menu looks quite tasty giving a few great breakfast and lunch options.

“Very slow service at 9am on a Friday. Sure it wasn't crowded,but I digress. A guy in front of me gave his order (a crepe or 2),I gave my order of a crepe with Nutella and walnuts and a girl behind me ordered. 20 mins go by,a Doordash order goes out,the guy's food is done,the girl's food is done and I'm still waiting for some d*** old Wufel with Nutella that takes less than 5 mins with a can of pop! 20 friggin minutes! They were so dang slow. Do they like or want their job? Probably not. Love the food,not the service.“
