“gushing about my take out order - I got the fried rice with yellow curry and fried spring rolls. everyone says it feels like someone’s parents making a home cooked meal for you, and it really does. the ingredients were fresh and flavorful. the man who gave me my order was very sweet and helpful, suggesting ways to combine sauces for best flavor and making sure I got everything I asked for. he also provided me with a huge slice of fresh watermelon, specifically to cool down the “thai heat” and it was delish.“

“My daughter and her kids enthusiastically recommended we all go here for Sunday lunch. The food was very good. There was a bit of an issue trying to get food my wife could eat given she has a few food sensitivities which seemed to preclude her eating here. But once we got it figured out, we had a tasty meal. The owner waited on us personally and was somewhat helpful with the limited options on the menu for my wife. He is a friendly guy who takes great pride in his restaurant. There isn't any atmosphere here. You go for the food and will not be disappointed.“

Drunken noodles were to spicy for me but my husband loved them (I chose option 2 thinking happy medium he wanted spicer) and kids tangy chicken was very yummy. Only issue we had wasn't food at all Asianos uses Uber delivery and they delivered to the wrong house.“

“I came here on a Thursday night. I had the basil shrimp with vermicelli noodles. It was a 10/10 across the board! The only difference is it could use a little more flavor (for my taste personally) so I added some type of red spicy sauce and it was even better! I also tried their Thai iced tea for the first time which was refreshing. I love how lowkey the restaurant is. It’s very small, but still an intimate setting for a date or family. Our waitress was very attentive, while still being productive. She made an error on a friend of mine’s card and she quickly corrected the error before we left the restaurant. The restaurant gives me a homey feel & I appreciate my entire experience. I would definitely come back here! Especially with the homemade food for a steal!“

“When you come in you feel right at home, with orange hues, warming smells and decorative pieces from the culture it can make anyone excited to see what taste will enter their palette.
Every dish you can taste the love poured into it. They are accommodating to any dietary restrictions such as gluten free, vegan, vegetarian, and so on.

“I have been going here since I was a kid and it’s the best Thai food in all of the area! I recently moved back to the area and now come here with my husband. When I was a kid the owner would bring me souvenirs from Thailand that I still have today!“

“I tried Bambu for the first time. I was pleased with egg rolls. I typically only like them with some protein, but these were accurately described in the menu and good for vegetarian. The Thai dish with chicken and eggplant was really good!“

“Cozy little neighborhood restaurant with very good Thai food. My favorite dishes here are the beef lad nar, and beef pad siew. The chicken skewers with peanut sauce is also noteworthy. The family that runs this place are the nicest people you will ever meet. Good food, excellent service.“

“Best Thai food in the area. Puts all the Thai places in Chicago to shame! Great atmosphere, not long wait and professional service. The crab rangoons are the best ones I’ve ever had, good cream cheese to crab ratio, I also ordered the duck noodles which had a lot of meat that was cooked really good. Very tender and juicy and flavorful. I like when good meat can just shine in its taste without any spices clashing with it too much and those noodles really hit the mark in my opinion. My husband had the mild curry and it was very, very good, if you only order one thing, order the mild curry. It was sweet and a bit spicy. Unfortunately they don’t deliver to Chicago so if you have any recommendations for Thai restaurants in Chicago please let me know!“

The Pineapple Fried Rice was absolutely perfect. I also got a side of Peanut Sauce and it was sooo good and a great size for the price. Good portions, great flavor, and very filling. I ordered through DoorDash and the restaurant had the food ready for pickup quickly and it was hot and fresh. “This is my fav Chinese food spot around town. Their tofu is cooked well and everything always tastes great. Service is pretty quick too. I think most people order takeout but dining in is pretty chill too. Also, their prices are pretty reasonable. A lot of food that I usually end up taking home.“

Make no mistake, the food here is excellent and punches way above its price point.Coming in the first time I was pessimistic. It seemed your standard pre prepared food menu ready to dish out quickly to the lunch crowd panda express style. I quickly became a huge fan after eating large well prepared portions I would expect from a normal sit down restaurant. “This place reminds me of the old Chinatown before COVID and the reason I used to go to Chinatown. It's, affordable with good portions, it has that older Chinese restaurant feel to it, yet clean, and the service is good with a fast waitress who has a good memory and doesn't need a notepad. Service is fast and the food is fresh and hot served with tea. Free parking close by. Highly recommend you check it out and if you like your food a bit spicy, ask for it and it will make a huge difference.“

You can tell everything's fresh made because there are variations to the ingredients, but ultimately it's all the same.“
