“Love the atmosphere as soon as we walked in on a Friday late morning. We were sat right away. Coffee was never empty and the food was fast and amazing. This was our first time here but we will be back very soon. Their lemon raspberry crepes were delicious and perfectly balanced. I got the jalapeno omelet with hash and mini waffles. When they brought the plate out it was MOUNDED with food.“

We choose Coopers Hawk not only for their great drinks, food preparation and portions, but also because they have substantial Gluten-Free options and dedicated fryers so everyone can enjoy. They take allergy consciousness seriously. While Kyle our server was prompt, courteous, and engaging I have to say the entire staff gave us a feeling they truly appreciated our choice dining with them. Everyone we spoke with or even passed in the hallway smiled and made eye contact. The Pretzel bread (including Gluten-Free bread) along with appetizers (Calamari & Brussel Sprouts) were the perfect size for our party of five(5) to share. We enjoyed a variety of dishes (Chicken, Pretzel-Crusted Pork Chops, Spaghetti w/Meatballs, Gnocchi Alla Vodka, and Salad w/Chicken & Avocado), all delicious. Flourless cake and two other desserts were shared and delicious. Overall highly recommended as we have had consistent high quality food and service at this location.“

“I visited the Crystal Lake Culver’s on Saturday, May 24th, 2025. I am an avid fan of Culver’s and I have visited 35 locations in Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Missouri and Kentucky. As a resident of Crystal Lake I visit this Culver’s very regularly. The food was excellent and the service was quick. I definitely recommend the ice cream and the chicken. 5/5 I will definitely be back very soon. (Written 6-3-25)“

“Our wedding was on 8/18/2023 and we are still so happy from the perfect day. From the minute we started our tour at Pinstripes with Shannon Schurr, my husband and I knew Pinstripes was going to be the perfect place for our wedding reception. We toured a few other venues, but Pinstripes was perfect. Shannon was so responsive and answered all of our questions along the way. The food tasting was lovely as well and it was a great chance to try all the food and feel confident at our choices. From the tour to the tasting to the reception, everything was seamless and magical. All of our guests absolutely raved about the reception venue and all the wedding guests mentioned it was the most fun wedding reception they have ever been at. The food and drink options were fantastic! We had bowling during our cocktail hour (with socks and bowling shoes included for all guests) and bocci courts open after dinner, which was a huge hit. We reserved the all-seasons outside space, which was well worth the little additional money, and the firepits and decorations (including the flowered backdrop) were a big hit and we didn’t even need to buy any decorations because it was set up so beautifully. The service was excellent throughout the whole night and the linens turned out prettier than we could have pictured! There was also a cool stand for the cake to be displayed while we were cutting it. Many of our guests now frequent for bowling and dinner at Pinstripes and my husband and I do the same.“

“I’ve eaten at Bleuroot twice when traveling through Chicago for hockey trips. Every bite has been phenomenal and there have been many “Oh you’ve got to try this” shared plates. The staff are amazing and this is a place where it’s okay to be loud and boisterous and joyful. Thanks to Maria and the crew for a great experience (and excellent customer service mailing me back a pair of prescription sunglasses I left on the table!). “My family of six ate at Culvers in McHenry on Tuesday, Dec 31 about 1:30. We were greeted with a pleasant hello. The lady who took our order got it right and was pleasant.Since were a group of 6, I figured it would take a little longer to get our order. That wasn't the case. Not only did the order come quickly, but is also accurate. That was wonderful! When we were nearing the end of our meal, a gentleman, (Jude, I believe) can around with free samples of the flavor of the day (Mint explosion). Never has that happened at Colvers to me in the many times I eat at different Culvers! What a nice touch! Upon leaving, we got a cheery Thank you, have a great day and happy new year. I wish I lived a little closer because Culvers in McHenry would definitely be my go to place. Thank you for good food and the kindness you all showed.“

“We have been going there for the last five years bragging about the hamburgers. Went there today order the hamburger it came out. Almost fully well done very poor quality. One asked If I could have gotten it rare was told menu says medium well. Meat was of a quality as if it was cooked earlier this week. Definitely will not be going back for hamburgers. Was told by the waitress No one will ask you how you want it done it says on the menu. We used to consider it best burger in town.“

“We have a blast every time we come to the VFW. The renovation, guests and staff make it the perfect ‘where everybody knows your name’ place to be. I can’t say enough about our favorite bartender, Kelly! She is such a sweetheart and remembers our favorite ‘beverage’ even after months of our last visit.

“We went here last night for Singo and what a great time! There was about 40 people playing and it was soooo fun!!! The food here is OUTSTANDING! They have a limited menu of flatbreads and sliders! Don’t be fooled by the limited options. They offer all types of flatbreads and sliders! Delicious!!
The 2 girls that run this, Tara and Kenzie, are fantastic!!! These 2 did everything from cooking to bartending to serving! The service was top notch!

“McDonalds is getting way overpriced and food is....ok at best. Thought I'd try Culvers in FRG. Was NOT dissapointed! For about the same price you get a DELICIOUS, HOT, LOOKS LIKE THE PICTURE burger, huge portion of hot crispy fat fries and a soft drink of your choice! I'm not one to take pictures of my food, but I did! It was a masterpiece! Loved it!“

Their fries are also crinkled. Their shakes are above average though not quite as thick as Shake Shack; especially enjoyed their unique mint chocolate chip shake.“
