“We went to Panini Bar, as we had a craving for a panini this afternoon and we googled “panini near me”. This place came up. We ordered avocado panini (vegetarian) and Turkey pesto panini. Both were REALLY REALLY tasty. Avocado panini had a bit of spaciness to it (which I loved). Turkey panini was absolutely delicious with basil pesto. All ingredients were fresh and panini was nice and crispy. We rally enjoyed our food. The only thing we didn’t realize is that this is a deli, not a cafe. So there is no opportunity for dine-in. But we found a couple benches outside and had a nice picnic on a bench. Overall, great sandwich take-out place! Service was great too, very nice and polite.“

“Outstanding. Saw a post on Insta and happened to be cruising through Palatine so I decided to form my own opinion. I’m certainly glad I stopped. Everything was on point. Burger was so good. I’m not normally down with waffle fries but these were great. Nice and crispy and the seasoning wasn’t over powering. I also did the Oreo shake because why not! I will definitely be coming back cuz I’m curious how the chicken sandwich is. Seriously a great smash burger and worth the money imo. Staff was great, friendly and upbeat. The whole place was nice and clean. Love the vibe with the 60’s diner music. Cheers Reps!

“Just had the best experience eating at popeyes today with my son. staff was great, food was so fresh and delicious. I don't usually choose popeyes when i come out to eat, but I definitely will be coming back way more often! If you haven't tried their nuggets, do it now!“

“Amazing, astonishing, yummy. The chicken here is so good. It can be a bit chewy and messy sometimes but it is perfectly heated. My personal favorite thing there has to be the bread. (I usually replace my coleslaw with another bread.) and the #1 thing we have to mention is the sauce. It truly could not get better.“

This week was special because we were celebrating Christmas together while feeling the emptiness of a second Christmas without Marlene (wife, sister, sister-in-law). When my brother-in-law went to settle our bill, he was advised that someone had already paid our tab. Thank you, stranger, for your act of kindness. You lifted my spirit more than you can imagine. I hope to pay it forward. If you are reading this, I thank you and wish you peace.“

“Very good hot dog; they really grill it until it is hot. A "Shroomer" made as a grilled chicken sandwich is good. The burger is good and I have ended up getting a kid's meal last time so that I can try to eat less meat. I am more of a light weight person anyway. The inside of the restaurant could be renovated. They are still in the real old Kooker's building with the same old tile floor that Kooker's restaurant had when I was in high school. It is over 20 years later now. I have been willing to go back to Happy Burger to get meals. The people at the front desk are nice. I do admit, though, sometimes I end up getting a burger for $3 at fast food drive-throughs. Happy Burger (HB) burger tastes more like a fresh made juicy burger when compared to the McDonald's on the other side of the street. HB fries are not bad but could be better because when the HB fries come up and go into a bag, I have found they were a bit wet.Wet fries is a common imperfection with Chicago-style grills.“

Parking: Plenty of parking including handicap parking.

“Kooker’s is my favorite lunch time spot when I’m at the office for the day. They make their own natural cut fries that I love cooked well done. They have daily specials that are great deals, although all of their prices are fair. They have limited seating, but you can call ahead and pick up an order and I think they do delivery. When there, make sure you look at the specialty board that is to the right of the register. There you will find items that are not on the regular menu. Today I had the poutine with pulled pork—amazing. I highly recommend this locally-owned burger (and a lot more) joint.“

“I have updated my review to 5 stars because they are one of the few fast food restaurants that has a good tasting gluten free hamburger bun.

Dietary restrictions: Though they have gluten free buns, they do not have designated gluten free cooking stations. I am not hypersensitive to gluten so I can eat their burgers and grilled chicken without adverse reactions.“

“My family of six ate at Culvers in McHenry on Tuesday, Dec 31 about 1:30. We were greeted with a pleasant hello. The lady who took our order got it right and was pleasant.Since were a group of 6, I figured it would take a little longer to get our order. That wasn't the case. Not only did the order come quickly, but is also accurate. That was wonderful! When we were nearing the end of our meal, a gentleman, (Jude, I believe) can around with free samples of the flavor of the day (Mint explosion). “Our family has always loved everything we've had from Photos, excellent quality, sooo tasty, and their menu is HUGE! I recently had my gallbladder removed, so I have been on a restricted diet for the past 4 months, and really struggle finding food I can eat at restaurants...until I discovered the chicken pita from Photos! It's an excellent low fat option, (2 for 1 on Sundays), and still tastes like you are eating a cheat meal! The chicken is to die for, and that tzatziki sauce - the best I've ever had (homemade as well, with dill!) Thank you Photos for always giving an incredible meal that we all enjoy!“
