“Tried the new menu item Gyros. Hope they keep it on the menu. They were great. The Tzatziki Sauce which makes a Gyro was perfect with enough cucumbers. We now have a new place to go to for Gyros. Last, I had just about everything on their menu and everything is delicious.“

“Best chicken in Crystal Lake! Raising Cane's slaps the hardest. Their chicken tenders are goated and perfectly seasoned (and honestly, you don't even need the sauce). The fries are cooked to perfection and have an amazing crunch👌 and that Texas toast slaps! Skip the KFC, skip the Popeyes, skip Dave's Hot Chicken because Cane's is where it's at! “This past June marked the first time in a few years dining in at this location. Lived in RL from May '89-Nov '02 which was obviously when I ate here a bit more regularly and dining in again brought back that nostalgia.

When it comes to having Arby's whether for lunch or dinner, I always make sure I'm starving prior to arriving and almost always order my usual which is the half-pound roast beef sandwich drenched in Arby's sauce.

There's one thing that Arby's doesn't have.......competition. There are plenty of other fast food chains that may operate at the same level but when it comes to the type of food, there's only 1 and that's Arby's.

Among your typical mass franchise chains whether McD's, Popeye's, BK, Subway, Wendy's, Taco Bell, etc.........Arby's has always been different in a positive way and sadly has the least amount of locations which is puzzling.

Only 6 locations in the entire Lake Co, should be at least double that. The taste of the food here especially the roast beef with a side of the classic curly fries or crinkle cuts always hits the spot.

As long as Arby's keeps making that scrumptious roast beef, I'll always pop in from time to time. Hope for several more years of boomin' business for the franchise owner.“

“ordered 2 chicago style hot dogs, Italian beef combo w/ mozzarella cheese and Giardiniera, jalapeño poppers and onion rings. $33.00 ☹️ the combo had barely any beef or Giardiniera on it. the onion rings were a big clump of a soggy greasy mess. the poppers were soggy too. They were not edible, threw them away. I don't know what happened, they used to be really good.“

“Kooker’s is my favorite lunch time spot when I’m at the office for the day. They make their own natural cut fries that I love cooked well done. They have daily specials that are great deals, although all of their prices are fair. They have limited seating, but you can call ahead and pick up an order and I think they do delivery. When there, make sure you look at the specialty board that is to the right of the register. There you will find items that are not on the regular menu. Today I had the poutine with pulled pork—amazing. I highly recommend this locally-owned burger (and a lot more) joint.“

“My favorite fast food chain location in the area. The only thing stopping it from 5 stars is the booth tables are frequently dirty.

Everything else from service to food to value is 5 stars. The staff is usually friendly, quick to apologize if there's even the slightest wait, and will even try to bring my food to me if I'm not waiting at the counter.

Truly the service has me go back a lot.

The value and quality taste of the food is phenomenal for the price. I highly recommend the luxe menu where there are multiple delicious items for less than $3

I'm a huge fan of the Beefy Potato Loaded Griller (comes a little spicy) for $2.89, finally some chips and dip with neat for under $3, the seasoned fries are delish.

I frequently come between 2-5pm to get a soda for $1 and a slight upcharge for a dirty soda (adding cream). Now if only I could get them to make a Mountain Dew Midnight ZERO I'd be in heaven.“

“My family of six ate at Culvers in McHenry on Tuesday, Dec 31 about 1:30. We were greeted with a pleasant hello. The lady who took our order got it right and was pleasant.Since were a group of 6, I figured it would take a little longer to get our order. That wasn't the case. Not only did the order come quickly, but is also accurate. That was wonderful! When we were nearing the end of our meal, a gentleman, (Jude, I believe) can around with free samples of the flavor of the day (Mint explosion). Never has that happened at Colvers to me in the many times I eat at different Culvers! What a nice touch! Upon leaving, we got a cheery Thank you, have a great day and happy new year. I wish I lived a little closer because Culvers in McHenry would definitely be my go to place. Thank you for good food and the kindness you all showed.“

“Everytime I've ordered from this location the order is accurate, tastes great, & fast & friendly service. I deliver for uber eats so I see a lot of restaurants over & over & notice grease marks & fingerprints all over many front doors, dirty counters, etc but not this location. Everything always looks clean, they have lots of hot food they keep making while selling so much, so theres always plenty. All the employees are always running around working hard, nobody is ever just standing! And they are all very friendly. Everybody seems to put in teamwork so everything runs efficiently. “While picking up dinner tonight at the Antioch location, the fire alarms had went off. The team was really assuring that there was no real emergency. Though it did create a communication barrier being so loud, the staff remained calm and friendly. To make up for it, a gentleman passed out cookies to those in line. This location is very clean and you can tell the staff takes pride. Can’t wait to continue to make this our go to comfort food place!“

“Crunchy Tacos at Taco Bell
I have something to get off my chest. Whoever is making the Crunchy Taco Supreme at Taco Bell in Fox Lake, just know, you deserve a raise, a new truck, and a winning lotto ticket, maybe even a Nobel Peace Prize. Seriously, if you air dropped these to the war you could bring an actual peace deal to the Gaza Strip. It comes out the way it looks on the menu, it isnt soggy or broken, for some reason it doesnt fall apart at all as youre eating it, and yet the lettuce has yet to make me have explosive diarrhea. Brave of me, I know, but this has been consistent for a couple of weeks now. I have yet to crush through an entire 12 party pack of crunchy tacos, but I feel as though if I did, theoretically, all 12 tacos would be pristine, immaculate, and in their most prestigious form of taco, with the most perfect layers of ground beef, sour cream, lettuce, cheese and tomato. If my body is a temple, mine is constructed out of a foundation of crunchy tortilla shells. I wish you the best and I hope that both sides of your pillow are cool. Don't Ever Change. I love you. 🫶“

“I'm disappointed they changed their hours . Id have breakfast there on my way to work but now I can't . Was the only place you could get a big work truck in or a truck and trailer. You could pull up and honk your horn and the lady's would come to the window.( They are the best and the cook is great to )The new hours suck they don't open till 8 am and I guess I'll have to find a new place to get breakfast. “Always a delicious spot for lunch and dinner. Daily specials posted on the white board inside. Tacos never disappoint! I always get 2 tacos and some rice with a horchata. Dine in available but beware parking a little weird outside and if you're unfamiliar with unloading wheelchairs in a slight slant I would park in the side or exterior of the building of at all possible. Parking is limited and easier to pull into going north bound on rt 12. South bound you sit in the meridian until traffic dispurses. There are also signs posted for not parking at the local deli next door, just avoid the south end of the building actually.“
