“My first visit to Inovasi and it did not disappoint! Our server Lucia was fantastic- knowledgeable friendly and she helped me find just the right cocktail! We started with their delicious bread, and then had the crispy pork belly for appetizer. For entree we had a filet with shaved truffles and a blackened cod with lime and whipped edamame. Both were superb as was the dessert of flourless chocolate cake with raspberry purée and shipped goats cheese, and a pumpkin cheesecake. All was delicious, and the ambiance and decor was warm and inviting. We will be back!“

“We picked Maevery last minute for our son's navy graduation dinner and it didn't dissapoint. They accommodated a last minute reservation and put us in a corner great table for easy catching up. Service was great (which we didn't experience in multiple fine dining restaurants downtown) and food was yummy and a good selection. .. they had awesome recommendations and treated us wonderfully! Didn't rush us and from 5-6pm we nearly had the place to ourselves before the dinner rush! Highly recommended by this out of town visiting family! Thank You (from Southern CA) We will be back if we are in Chicago again!“

“The beer and atmosphere are fabulous“

“We had a wonderful dinner at Prairie Grass Cafe. The spring rolls were loaded with delicious perfectly cooked shrimp and the accompanying sauce (sweet chili with garlic and cilantro) plays nicely with them. The flounder with roasted carrots and parsnip-potato purée was as delicious as it looks. It was generously portioned and beautifully plated. We also enjoyed the mussels with parsley, shallots, and breadcrumbs pasta. My husband is Sicilian and it reminded us of the pasta con le sarde that we love to have in Sicily. The mussels were plump and delicious. The wine list is very nice. We found wines we really enjoyed and they were reasonably priced. We enjoyed the Attems, Pinot Grigio, Friuli, Italy ‘22 with our mussels and flounder, and the Fritz Haag, Riesling, Germany ‘21 with our pumpkin pie for dessert. Service was perfect.“

“I’ve been on their first customers from the reopening after Covid . Brought a lot of people there . The entire of the USS NEW JERSEY got to know about this place because the jersey is directly next to it . It became me go to hang out spot . Great patio. View of Lake Michigan especially during fall and winter. Sorry to hear the food truck is gone but Patrice does a great job with the limited menu specials . Always a great experience with her . Today I leave Great Lakes permanently and I will miss it and the people I’ve gotten to know there . A more mature crowd , more peaceful and less annoying environment a as we all huddled to this place for the same reason after a long and possibly stressful day on“

“Loved everything about this location! I received a warm welcome from the host stand, but what really stood out to me was the extraordinary service from Samone. She provided suggestions for my beverage, appetizer, entree, & dessert. I thoroughly enjoyed my 4 course meal thanks to Samone pointing me in the right direction. She’s truly a professional. “Best gastropub in the area. The ambiance is absolutely perfect in the Firkin. The lighting, decor and staff makes every visit memorable. They have a great selections of beer and cocktails they offer. Their calamari is delicious and they have a good selection of shareable plates. As for dinner, you cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. I've never had a bad meal. It is very obvious the owners put a lot of thought every aspect, from every dish served down to the beautiful artwork on the walls.“

“Chef Jonathon Silver cooks a phenomenal meal to perfection! Everything was incredible from the tempura fried cauliflower, the wood grilled pear & vegetable salad, seafood bisque and to the perfectly grilled steaks. What an incredible meal.“

“We had a 30th high school reunion meet up at the Caldwell Grille last night. Mayra and Bridget were awesome with our group the whole evening. They were very accommodating for our group that kept expanding, friendly, and professional. The food and drinks were also great.“

“(*Bistro hours at the end!) - It’s a “Bistro,” with a limited menu, not a full scale restaurant. I checked in late and appreciated they were still open! The Cobb Salad was good for me. They do have a FULL BAR, and poured a very nice Bacardi & Coke for me! The next morning I designed a Breakfast Bowl from their menu, and had a drip coffee. I was not able to finish the entire breakfast, it was VERY GOOD! (See photo). CURRENTLY breakfast hours are M-F, 6:00 AM-9:30 AM, and weekends 7:00 AM-10:00 AM. Dinner hours 5:00 PM-10:00 PM, seven days a week. Menu photos also attached. All the staff was great!“

“The atmosphere at the English Room in Lake Forest is very nice calm, classic, and a beautiful setting. The drink presentation was gorgeous. But the food itself was just okay, nothing special. I went to see what the hype was about, but overall I wasn’t very impressed.“

“I have been here for lunch many times but rarely in the evening. We stopped in on Saturday night with the intention of having a quick drink however there was an amazing 80s cover band performing. There was a very reasonable $5 cover charge and there were plenty of staff so the service was fast and efficient. The cocktails were excellent and the whole experience was so fun!“

“We have dined here many times. Food is innovative and seasonal. Quality and presentation of food is excellent. The happy hour menu is fantastic deal! We will return. Service tends to be over stretched, usually. While they are always friendly and responsive, they often have too many tables(like one bartender and one server only).“
