“We had a wonderful dinner at Prairie Grass Cafe. The spring rolls were loaded with delicious perfectly cooked shrimp and the accompanying sauce (sweet chili with garlic and cilantro) plays nicely with them. The flounder with roasted carrots and parsnip-potato purée was as delicious as it looks. It was generously portioned and beautifully plated. We also enjoyed the mussels with parsley, shallots, and breadcrumbs pasta. My husband is Sicilian and it reminded us of the pasta con le sarde that we love to have in Sicily. The mussels were plump and delicious. The wine list is very nice. We found wines we really enjoyed and they were reasonably priced. We enjoyed the Attems, Pinot Grigio, Friuli, Italy ‘22 with our mussels and flounder, and the Fritz Haag, Riesling, Germany ‘21 with our pumpkin pie for dessert. Service was perfect.“

“One of the best places I've eaten from in a good while. The servers were very attentive. Management came out to check on us, which always nice to see. It was our first time here and it seemed very family friendly. There is outside seating! The food was pretty good. I was there on a double date and everyone enjoyed themselves. We will definitely be back.

“Had dinner last night. We had an excellent server named Carly. She was extremely friendly and answered our questions. She came back to the table several times to check on us.
It was refreshing to dine out and be treated so nicely.
We also chatted with Patrick the manager who we talked with each time we have been to FatPour and he is an absolute sweetheart too.
All in all good experience and we will return!

True to form, we had a wonderful meal, good service and an enjoyable time. They always have a delicious selection to choose from and I have never been disappointed. One of my favorite desserts is the selection of three scopes of sorbet. Very delicious! You will definitely be impressed and will this find this a cozy place to come back to, again and again.“

The staff has always been pleasant when we have eaten here and they have an amazing selection of cocktails that pair very nicely with you entree. Here's the bonus, locals. This hidden gem is nestled in a hotel, which means weekends is less crowded then during the week. They do take reservations and even have a very good children's menu. “We recently dined at The English Room at the Deer Path Inn and had a lovely experience. We started with the Wedge Salad and it was decent, though not particularly memorable. It was missing some of the ingredients that were listed on the menu. I had the Mushroom Risotto, which was absolutely fantastic! It was rich, creamy, and full of flavor. My husband opted for the Airline Chicken, and he thoroughly enjoyed it, praising its tenderness and seasoning. For dessert, we indulged in the Big Arse Chocolate Cake, which was as decadent and delicious as its name suggests! We sat outside so the photos are a little dark. The service was top notch! The atmosphere is why we will be coming back, it is something you have to experience in person. We then explored the lobby and became very interested in the history!
Overall, it was a delightful evening with some standout dishes, and we look forward to visiting again.“

“I was honestly surprised to see a 3.6-star rating because my experience at GC Buffalo in Lincolnwood. The service has been nothing short of amazing! The staff was incredibly professional and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. Now, let’s talk about the wings—simply the best! The buffalo wings are the last original buffalo wings out there, genuinely packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. My son says the buffalo wings are "bussin," and I have to agree. But my personal favorite has to be the lemon pepper wings, bursting with the perfect blend of zest and seasoning. We’ve tried wings from plenty of other places, and nothing compares to GC Buffalo. If you're a wing lover, this spot is a must-try. Bottom line: the wings are top-tier, and the service was spot on. I’ll definitely be coming back!“

Phenomenal chopped salad and banana cream pie rounded out the visit! Rosebud is very consistent with food prep and seasoning. It's it not right, speak up! They want you to have an experience to remember.“
