I just had 2 eggs over easy and they were truly farm fresh jumbo eggs. I am a Chef of 40 years and have never had a better restaurant experience any time than Kim & Patty's of McHenry.“

We loved the large windows that let in so much natural light, and the exposed beams and brick walls gave it a charming, warm character that everyone adored. Located above a chocolate shop, we were treated to a delightful wedding favor of their truffles for each guest—a sweet touch that was a big hit! The shop remained open during the wedding, allowing guests to flow between the celebration and the store, where many enjoyed a coffee break or just took a breather. Kelsey, our coordinator, was fantastic—professional, attentive, and incredibly warm. She managed every detail seamlessly, ensuring everything ran smoothly so we could truly enjoy the day. The guy was with his wife, he should of been standing behind his wife and not standing behind me and this other lady was complaining about it to. Its very wrong. “We wanted to give props to the former owner Kim and her amazing spread of desserts for our wedding. We booked Sweet Reds prior to the sale of the storefront and Kim was gracious enough to fulfill our order still on our wedding day and my goodness were these desserts delicious. We loved tasting with her and she gave us so many options and we did not stop at getting just a cake with them. We order cupcakes, brownie bites, key lime bites, cheesecake bites, lemon bars, and more. We loved them all! Thank you again for being able to still fulfill our wedding. The establishment is very spacious and clean. I love visiting places where the employees are having fun while still providing excellent customer service. It almost felt like i was in the krusty krab with a lot of spongebobs and no squidwards. ??

UPDATE 8/10 this time i had the classic chicago hotdog and sweet potato fries! Unfortunately this time around the hot dog was not all that great, very bland and actual weiner didn’t have much flavor and the sweet potatoes were a bit burnt, but i think this is a minor mistake than can easily be fixed in the future! Can’t wait to be back!“
