“The pizza was great and the bear was too, but the reason for the 5 stars is the ambience. On a Saturday night, I attended this bar alone. The people were, albeit a bit tipsy, happy, kind, and welcoming. The bartender was a lone wolf, meaning she was the sole investor in each individual customer and I appreciated the involvement she had in my experience. Additionally, there are 2 beautiful and cozy little cats that run amuck, along with an outdoor fire to warm the soul. But the biggest draw factor is the wondrous collection of growlers and glasses from brewing locations across the Midwest, bringing me pride when I located the Land Grant bottle on the wall, which comes from the city of my Alma mater (5 hours away). One Trick Pony might be on a small side road, but I think you should “trot” over if you are in the area.“

“As may be seen as the safest taproom in this part of Indiana, tucked between the Dyer PD and Franciscan Hospital is a taproom worth the visit regardless of location and neighbors. Knowledgeable staff are at the ready to assist the first time visitor to a taproom experience or welcome a traveler who can name the top five winners at GABF. Flavor and style shows in the offerings but not taken too serious as the noted icon about is a cat. No question there, with large panel windows given warmth through the western setting sun. So try a pour, seek a wise observation and wonder if life would be better as a cat in a brewery.“

“Service was top notch. Chastity was helpful and efficient and made us feel so welcome. We hadn't been out in a while, and wanted to try out some of the new places in our hometown. Glad we chose this place bc it will be a staple every time we come back.“

“Super cute spot on Main Street in Crete. Came for a birthday gathering and loved it. The space is cool. I really enjoyed the fun unique decor pieces. Definitely take a look around and take in all the cool features. Amazing pizza at the place above. And obviously fantastic beer.“

“Beer was really good! We had two flights and pretty much tried all the different beers they had available. Definitely very tasty brews, with a couple that were complex with so many flavor profiles going on at once! Great service and pleasant experience hanging out, will definitely be back soon!“

“My absolute favorite restaurant/brewery in NWI. The food and drinks are outstanding! I am a big fan of sour beers and seltzers and they have such a delicious variety. “I have been coming to this establishment for the past couple of years and I have nothing but good things to say. Delicious hazy IPA's, stouts, and craft seltzers are just the beginning of what Rabid has to offer. They hold a myriad of events such as: Dungeons and Dragons, the Feast of the Goat Queen, Sumo Saturdays, Twin Peaks trivia, etc. Best of all, the staff and locals are welcoming and eclectic. I always feel like I belong at Rabid; enjoying a delicious beer and wonderful company.“

“I had a burger that was excellent. Cooked perfectly and taste very good. Server was very friendly and able to offer good beer recommendations since it was my first time here. The ambiance was nice as the patio offered a good outdoor seating area on the roof with a nice space. The music was pretty good also. The downstairs offered a seating area that was nice with large brewing stations to see. Bright colors and can be kid friendly. I would go back I believe the mosaically-yours ipa , delerio ipa, and the ideative-dom ipa beers were my preferred choices. Worked out well since I enjoy IPAs. The speculator cream ale...I literally felt like I could taste the corn flavor in it. Very interesting flavor. Overall, if you like trying out new beers its a place to stop in and visit and get a good burger or salad why not.“

“Best thing going in Griffith for food and beer. Good beer, surprisingly excellent food. This place often slips my mind when thinking about food spots. Stopped in again the other day, and everything was great. Have had numerous apps and sandwiches. All are excellent. Pretzel is huge, served with great beer cheese and grainy mustard. The delicious pork tenderloin sandwich is colossal. It could easily feed 2, especially if you are sipping on a few beers. Corned beef sandwich was on special. Fantastic, and I don't particularly care for corned beef. Can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Friday's special is a lobster roll. I'm really looking forward to trying it!“

“I don't get it, been coming here a long time. Where's my review? I'm sure I've done one! Sooooo awkward. Anyway, the place is clean, everything I've eaten has been delicious. The beer is pretty good, I can never make up my mind so I typically try one of their cocktails. Hubby loves the beer.The service is great and everyone is so nice you think you went to see a friend at work. They have art on the walls that rotates. Local artists. I've seen some pretty cool pieces. So that's a fun look. Today my hubby and I got Chicken baskets. 5 pcs lightly breaded chicken with fries. Much much better than the ones down the road I paid 18.00 for something that was sooooo heavily breaded and tiny. Watching Lions vs. Bears on the big screens. I'm having a good time here.“

“The food is great the menu is small but quality over quantity is a good thing. All servers and tender have been awesome every time. Love the vibe it covers the neighborhood well and the premade old fashion hits the spot after several homemade brews fill you up! Price is the only reason the last star is missing.“

“First time visitor. The avocado fries were amazing. The brisket flatbread was okay. The mule was simple yet refreshing. My husband said he wished the calamari seasoning was mixed into the batter before frying instead of sprinkled on top. Same with the tacos; sauce mixed in instead of added to top.“

“We are in Hammond for my sons hockey tournament and this place is just across the parking lot from our hotel, so we decided to give it a try for dinner. They had a big selection of beers, unfortunately the one I ordered wasn't very good. But that happens sometimes and I had to man up and drink it still. I had the Poutine and it was amazing. We also ordered a salad for my wife and a double cheese burger for the boy. Both were pretty delicious. But lets get back to the Poutine for a minute, this pacific dish had shreaded beef and deep fried jalapeños in it that complemented the cheese curds and gravy nicely. . If we lived closer, we would definitely be dining here often.“

“I've never been here in person, but my husband has (We live out of state). When his favorite merch got ruined, I ordered more from them. I won't say what they did for me, because I don't want others to take advantage, but their customer service is stellar! Maybe some day I'll get to try their beers :)“

“I've been going to the bulldog pub for the past year with my husband. It's our go to date night, because of one really great worker there who always makes you feel special. Alexis is not only kind and funny but also so welcoming, you just can't help but to feel comfortable there as if you are with friends. And her work ethic is steller. She always check on you to ensure you have everything, making you feel like you're the most important table there. I give this place 5 stars because they have Alexis on staff there. Now on date night we make sure she is working.“
