“We dined here tonight for the 1st time and Rosebud exceeded our expectations! Very welcoming from the moment we walked in until we left. Service was Great, Alex was very accommodating and knowledgeable. Food was outstanding, portions justified the price! Management was very helpful with a certificate that was no longer accepted but they honored it anyway as a courtesy. Great business sense, making the customer happy! We can't wait to come back!“

“Played #2. Well kept considering the time of year. Just poured rain the night before, but the drainage seems good cause there were no cart restrictions. The only reason I gave them a 4 was cause they didn't mark the tee boxes. We made them as we went along and we were a 720 tee time. Would play again.“

“Went for a Flaw concert. It was small and intimate but an absolutely great time. I got a drum stick from the drummer and the whole band signed it. The place itself is amazing. They have bowling, bags, darts, pinball, you name it they have it. Also very reasonable priced drinks and food. Great place to check out.

“Great Dinner with husband and his 2 brothers! Everone raved about the food and craft cocktails (the smoky olde fashion) especially! 2 had the porkchop. 1 Risoto with chicken and 1 Pasta wirh vodka sauce add shrimp! Can't wait to go back!“

“We dined at Topaz in August 2024 and had a wonderful experience. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. We were seated in a comfortable booth. A special mention goes to our server, Sasa, who was incredibly attentive and provided great suggestions. He even surprised us with complimentary limoncellos, which were absolutely delicious. For appetizers, we had the grilled octopus and hummus—both prepared to perfection and bursting with flavor. For the main course, we chose the Dover sole and Amish chicken. These dishes were exceptional and stood out as some of the best we've ever had. The potatoes served with the sole were also a delightful surprise. Portions were generous, and the prices were quite reasonable considering the quality and quantity of the food. We highly recommend Topaz and will definitely be returning!“

“I love Standard Market's Seeded Rye Bread! It is one of the best rye breads to be found anywhere in the west suburbs. Unfortunately the last two loaves I bought are so very , very salty? I do bake bread myself (not as good as Standard Market's) I am aware of the role of salt, sugar etc. and their proportions, so why this extremely salty version ?“

“Great food choices. For ex. Goat & date salad with skirt steak for $35 was delicious. The entrees got to us fast although in the beginning was somewhat slow. Desert wise there are few other sweeter choices around. Overall though I would recommend the place.“

“My mom and I like to meet at wineries/ wine bars once a month that halfway for us (parents live in Crystal Lake and I live in LaSalle). Goat and Vine was an excellent restaurant with delicious food and a variety of top notch wines! On top of that, our server made our first time experience that much better; I highly recommend!!“

“We had a great experience at Kindred- we enjoyed appetizers, entrees, dessert, and beer. The atmosphere was intimate and quiet so that we could hear each other. No clanging dishes or loud music, very pleasant. The food was very good and we all took leftovers home. I had the chicken bowl, my husband had the steak sandwich, and my mom had the pork sandwich. We had a chocolate crème brûlée for dessert…. Oo la la it was yummy! The overall experience was very good. My mom is going to bring her gourmet club, so you know it was good! 😊“

“Been here several times over the last 5 years and have never been disappointed by the service or the food. Started with the AZ eggrolls, crab cake, and seared tuna appetizers which had so many great flavors. We then moved to Balsamic Ribeye, jambalaya, salmon, snd roast chicken crepes. Everything was spiced and cooked to perfection. The bread pudding, raspberry cheesecake, and pumpkin cheesecake were incredible as well. Finished off with cappuccino, tea, double espresso, and latte.“

“We recently got married at The Elm this past weekend (10/13/2024) and can't express in words how satisfied we were with their service. Starting from the first day that we went to see The Elm we were treated with the upmost respect and professionalism. We had our ceremony in the Kensington room, and our reception in the Madison room. The atmosphere and vibe of both rooms was everything that we could hope for. The staff was incredible, the food/drinks were AMAZING, and our guests had nothing but positive feedback. WE HIGHLY RECOMMED THIS PLACE FOR A WEDDING AND/OR ANY OTHER EVENT.“

They were so gracious and food was delicious. We even brought in our own cake and sang hb in English and Spanish and some of the staff joined us in Spanish! “My mother found this place to host our baby shower and they were so wonderful to work with! Bruce helped my mother with every question she had and made the entire planning process extremely easy. We chose to do a brunch and were able to be let in early with plenty of time to set up before guests arrived. The food was great, the atmosphere was wonderful, and everyone had such a great time. “We were in town for a basketball tournament, with a group of 22, and their staff accommodated our entire group! From the hostess, to our waitress, to whom I believe was the manager (tall gentleman), they were fantastic! The food, was delicious!!! Serving sizes were generous and their drinks were great as well. If we are ever back in town, we will return!“
