“Attended a Wedding here. I had a lot of fun with my family and friends.They served either Steak or Chicken dinners I had the steak and it was very good. Also served some nice appetizers that were also very good Big room smallish dance floor but All in All a very good time was had by everyone.“

“We dined here tonight for the 1st time and Rosebud exceeded our expectations! Very welcoming from the moment we walked in until we left. Service was Great, Alex was very accommodating and knowledgeable. Food was outstanding, portions justified the price! Management was very helpful with a certificate that was no longer accepted but they honored it anyway as a courtesy. Great business sense, making the customer happy! We can't wait to come back!“

“Went for a Flaw concert. It was small and intimate but an absolutely great time. I got a drum stick from the drummer and the whole band signed it. The place itself is amazing. They have bowling, bags, darts, pinball, you name it they have it. Also very reasonable priced drinks and food. Great place to check out.

“I love Standard Market's Seeded Rye Bread! It is one of the best rye breads to be found anywhere in the west suburbs. Unfortunately the last two loaves I bought are so very , very salty? I do bake bread myself (not as good as Standard Market's) I am aware of the role of salt, sugar etc. and their proportions, so why this extremely salty version ?“

“We dined at Topaz in August 2024 and had a wonderful experience. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. We were seated in a comfortable booth. A special mention goes to our server, Sasa, who was incredibly attentive and provided great suggestions. He even surprised us with complimentary limoncellos, which were absolutely delicious. For appetizers, we had the grilled octopus and hummus—both prepared to perfection and bursting with flavor. For the main course, we chose the Dover sole and Amish chicken. These dishes were exceptional and stood out as some of the best we've ever had. The potatoes served with the sole were also a delightful surprise. Portions were generous, and the prices were quite reasonable considering the quality and quantity of the food. We highly recommend Topaz and will definitely be returning!“

Starting from the first day that we went to see The Elm we were treated with the upmost respect and professionalism. We had our ceremony in the Kensington room, and our reception in the Madison room. The atmosphere and vibe of both rooms was everything that we could hope for. The staff was incredible, the food/drinks were AMAZING, and our guests had nothing but positive feedback. “We have been to Kindred many times. We keep coming back because of the food and the staff. The food is always delicious. I go there thinking I will get my favorite menu item, but find that there is something new to try. I'm never disappointed. The menu has so many good choices. The presentation is nice too. The staff is so friendly; everyone greets you when you walk in. They are genuinely happy to see their patrons. This is a great place.“

“We are fairly frequent diners to the Phoenix and always appreciate their weekly menu specials. This week was a pastrami sandwich on marbled rye with a whole grain mustard - and it did not disappoint! We also shared the grilled artichokes appetizer (always delish!) and the creamy cauliflower soup. Our server was fabulous and attentive as well. We will be back again soon!“

The food was delicious, the atmosphere was fun and unique, and our server was incredible. The music swaps between 80's, 2000's, all sorts of genres, which was greatly appreciated. Almost wished I lived here just so I could make this spot a regular of mine!“

“This place has been here forever!! And I became new to this place a smacking 8 yrs ago yes!! I travel here for my shrimps and fish.. prices are beautiful. Food always fresh to the taste and I will come here till I move too far lol. Parking is decent always a place to park. Not wheelchair accessible however don’t let that make you miss ordering here“

“This spot is easily one of the best hotel bars around! The atmosphere is fantastic, but the real highlight was our bartender, Kelly. She was incredibly sweet and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed.

“Good food with a verity of menu items to choose from. I had the fish toccos they were tasty. The order comes with 2 small toccos and a side. The portion sizes are a little on the small side. The wait staff was attentive and friendly. I would go back.“

“My mom and I like to meet at wineries/ wine bars once a month that halfway for us (parents live in Crystal Lake and I live in LaSalle). “What’s with the low reviews here??? Came with a group of 10 and the pizza was outstanding. We live in the city and think it goes toe to toe with the trending tavern style spots - Zarella, Pizzamici - honestly might even be better if it’s always as tasty as it was when we came in. Our server was very attentive as well. Please open a location in Chicago so we don’t have to drive so far!“

“We were in town for a basketball tournament, with a group of 22, and their staff accommodated our entire group! From the hostess, to our waitress, to whom I believe was the manager (tall gentleman), they were fantastic! The food, was delicious!!! Serving sizes were generous and their drinks were great as well. If we are ever back in town, we will return!“
