Choc Chip scone is delicious; good texture, plenty of chips and excellent tasting. Also purchased cinnamon roll. After heating, just incredible! Frosting super delish, dough was great. Anxious to go back, would like to try cupcakes, empanadas and pie. Store is super cute!!! Also, the owner/manager was at an event, not at store today. However, family member there (Mom I think). “Last Friday evening ( Oct 17, 2025 ) I came in with my 2 sons - we are regulars at the Glenview Yardhouse for years now - we are always treated so kindly , my sons and I Love The Atmosphere, The food is always just The Best - my sons are always asking me when are we driving back down to The Yardhouse in Glenview :)) The music selection is So Awesome also ! The server Matt took care of us last Friday and he was So Kind Always !!!!!!! My sons Love The Cheeseburgers and Hanging Bavarian Pretzels, the Calamari, the Mac and Cheese , the Orange chicken and Jasmine rice , the loaded pepperoni pizza and the desserts !!! We always leave with lots and lots of leftovers :))“

“My Husband and I agree that there needs to be more restaurants like the Omega. We both grew up in the area, and felt quite not only nostalgic but at home while dining today. From the moment you walk in the door until you leave, you are surrounded by a soft ambient glow, dark wood paneling, beautiful hanging lamps above each table. Please do not get me started on their bakery items, bread so good you'd swear grandma was in there kitchen whipping it up by the batch load, a dessert/sweets case that could fulfill anyone's sweetest sweet tooth desires. I had to stop myself before I bought one of everything! My husband Had the Gyro Dinner and was in love with the homemade taziki/cucumber sauce, the meat was perfectly cut right off the spit, and homemade pita bread to top it off, plus it came with a very generous portion of house salad, and a bowl of soup. I was getting full just watching him. lol I tried the Grilled Chicken Breast Sandwich, it was amazing, it had loads of melted Swiss cheese and a beautifully grilled chicken breast topped with pineapple(my favorite) all on a fresh baked ciabata roll. it was fantastic! Our waitress was very lovely, super attentive and extremely patient with us, being our first time dining there. Overall I would recommend that you give the Omega a chance, it's like stepping back in time to a simpler, better time, when the food was made with love, and it shows. Thank you for the lovely experience, if we are ever up that way again, we will surely stop.“

“How crazy is this. Going to Sunset Foods I saw this sign in the window of a storefront to the West. Fortunately I found BRIGHT BOWLS owned and operated by a Highland Parker named Lindsay. I can’t describe the ambiance and wonderful products. You need to experience on your own. My favorite so far is the LoveABowl. Enjoy on site or to go. “My parents and I were looking for a place eat in Northfield after driving an hour to pick up the ashes of our dog who passed two weeks ago from blood cancer. Found this place two minutes from the pet hospital located in an office building. Owner was super chill made our food fresh and was super generous. They had these cookies by the register I think the owners baked themselves they all looked really good we got one of each (pecan, cookies and cream, m&m, and this one with caramel on top) and the owner gave us two for free and chips with our meals and reheated my dad’s soup when asked (dad’s picky) to be super hot (dad was happy). We took our food to go and ate right outside the office building by this little fountain which I think is the way to go if the weather accommodates it. I got the chicken pesto panini I don’t even like pesto but I liked this panini the bread was crisp the cheese melty and the vegetables happy (not soggy). Honestly the cookies I enjoyed the most; cookies and cream was really good it had like these big chunks of white chocolate which were awesome but the best was the caramel one CRAZY GOOD definitely get one. Anyways I miss my dog love you Beowulf rest well now.“

“My first time ever trying Thai food, my husband has always been a fan. I am now hooked, this place is amazing. I knew it had to be good when I pulled up to a restaurant attached to a home kitchen. We ordered the Beef noodle soup spice level 2, chicken pad thai spice level 3, order of sticky buns, crispy egg rolls and crab rangoon. Everything was amazing. Tender beef in the soup, fresh not canned crunchy sprouts, rich broth. My husband loved the heat and fresh veggies in his pad thai. Even after sitting in the bag for about 30 minutes after pick up the rangoons were perfectly crunchy thanks to the venting on the container they put them in. Perfect portions, quality, great price, clean, all staff wearing masks, multiple carry out options in terms of curb side pick up, going in, delivery etc. Highly highly highly recommend. Cannot wait for our next take out/date night.“
