“This location is amazing! The food is great and so is the cleanliness! By far the most amazing staff! Also a fabulous place for people to work. The managers value their employees as well as the corporation in general. This was my daughter’s first job, they taught her how to work hard and that hard work pays off! Especially for kids with their first job, this can set the tone for the way they view being employed… grateful that my daughter’s first experience was here! She loves working and has a great outlook on life because of this experience!!!!!! Thank you Tia, Alexis and Kyle!!!“

“Small place, room for about 20 people to sit. Ordered carry out, staff was great, food prep was fast. Two-steak taco dinner ($10) , and a two-tostada dinner ($15). Food was tasty, and fresh.
If in the area, I’d definitely order again.“

“Its a great place if you are looking for great tacos that is no nonsense. Place is inside the little Mexican grocery store and has three tables, doesn't look the prettiest but it is a great place. Reminds me of great taco joints in Cd. Juarez. Prices were great too. Food was made fresh because when I got my tacos and they were so hot I couldn't hold them long. Chicken tacos were excellent. Easily coming back here.“

“This place isn't very big, but the flavor of the food is! I normally post a picture of what I get. Unfortunately, it looked and smelled so good I couldn't wait. The ingredients were fresh and only took a few minutes to prepare. The cashier and the cook were both very friendly and you could tell they keep it clean here too. If you're in the area and have $5 to spare run in and grab a taco. Try something different and let me know how your experience was.“

“While traveling I chose to stop and try something tasty and fast. What I discovered was a hidden gem that proved quality homemade food can be served friendly and fast. Great fresh salsas only complimented very tasty street tacos and the price was more than reasonable given the quality. Well done“

“This restaurant is 5 stars just off the bat. The food/presentation is amazing. Nothing to complain about whatsoever. The employees/servers are INCREDIBLY nice and treat everyone with respect, care, and great service. The atmosphere looks incredible too. It feels like you are actually in Mexico. I would totally recommend for anyone in the area. It is worth it.“

“Great dinner tonight. Mexican Indian Fusion. The seasoned chips were served hot and Salsas were flavorful. Portions were plentiful and the prices were family friendly. You can choose 3 different street tacos with rice and beans for $15! The staff was very attentive as we were outside dining. And the waiter left us a pitcher of water for the table. It was most appreciated. We definitely will return.“

“A real authentic Mexican restaurant in Highland Park or in a lot of the North Shore is hard to find so I’m glad I found this one! Food is great, Service has been really friendly and attentive. These last few times I’ve gone. Enjoy sitting on the outdoor patio. Definitely coming back!!“

“The writing on their store front says BEST MEXICAN FOOD IN TOWN...let's go!My g/f and I placed our order and while waiting tried the complentry chips and salsa. This is something I base my impressions on first and these were made in house and the salsa, both AMAZING, got me excited for our meal.I ordered 3 tacos, rice and beans and was blown away by the freshness AND quality ABD quanity of meat. I had Adada, Pastor and Cecina, items not on every Mexican restaurant so I was impressed there as well!Looking forward to my next visit...lengua tacos here I come!
