“Simply AMAZING! Ochoa’s is easily one of the best Mexican restaurants in the area. We recently used them for catering (25 people), and everything exceeded our expectations. Communication was top-notch, portions were huge, and the food was incredible. Guests couldn’t stop talking about the juicy chicken and steak, the homemade chips and salsas, and guacamole that could honestly be eaten by the spoonful. Mr. Ochoa truly takes pride in his food — you can taste the love in every bite. Highly recommend for both dining in and catering!“

“Taco Verde is hands down one of our favorite spots for amazing halal tacos! The quality and flavor are consistently outstanding. We absolutely love their Birria Tacos — perfectly seasoned, tender, and packed with rich, authentic flavor.

Their Birria Pizza Tacos are a must-try as well. Such a creative twist, loaded with flavor and cooked to perfection. Every bite is satisfying.

“We went to Mago in Barrington last night for the first time and were blown away. They were very busy so we sat at the bar. Service was fast and friendly. Food was terrific and the menu features things you won’t find at your standard Mexican restaurant like three choices of mole. Tableside guacamole is absolutely lovely. I have to say, though, what made our experience was watching the magnificent bartender. His efficiency, speed, and obvious dedication to what he was doing was just a marvel. He never stopped moving! We will definitely be back as every aspect of our experience was very enjoyable.“

“About the same price as Chipotle, but the food quality is way better and the menu has more variety. Seating is a bit limited, but it's a small-ish space so that's understandable. That's also not really an issue right now because I've rarely seen it very crowded, but I do also wish it would be a bit more crowded because I want the place to stick around.“

“I can't have spicy food and this is an authentic Mexican restaurant that does not put spice in everything. I can eat a variety of food here and not worry about it as well as the guacamole! They way it's supposed to be prepared (you add the sauces yourself). Thank you for this and everything is absolutely delicious.“

You can choose 3 different street tacos with rice and beans for $15! The staff was very attentive as we were outside dining. And the waiter left us a pitcher of water for the table. “This is a hidden gem. I wasn't aware of this restaurant until recently. I like the many options available for meats, salsa, toppings, corn or flour tortillas, etc. I've had the burrito bowl most recently. The chicken is moist and not overcooked and dry, the Pico is fresh, a wide variety of salsa choices from mild to hot. It's so nice to have a great go-to restaurant that's not the usual fast food fare and a really good Mexican restaurant nearby.“
