“I picked up 2 French onion soups to go. I did not get home until an hour later. Soups were still warm and delicious! The separate container with the bread and melted cheese was perfect, so it didn’t get soggy. I heard there was an egg roll soup! I MUST get that next time. Perfect lunch on a cold wintry day.“

“We absolutely enjoyed our food and drinks. We made it for the special celebration of the 3 year anniversary and they did a phenomenal job as always. We ordered the special lobster and crab ravioli. It was spectacular. A little more butter than I would've liked but choosing not to dip the ravioli in it worked out perfectly. We order a couple apps, artichoke and rice balls (can't remember the dish name). They were very good. My husband ordered the risotto with chicken. Also very good. Because we are hooked on bread pudding we got the toffee bread pudding with a scoop of salted Carmel gelato and it was fantastic! Drinks there are the smoked old fashions. Our server Kim was fabulous and Joe and Tom are always so welcoming and kind when we do come. Last but not least, Roo! Impeccable memory this young lady has. Not only will she remember your name but also your drink. Such a great addition to our community. We look forward to celebrating every year with you guys. Cheers to another year!“

Staff is super friendly, food is always fresh, hot and well made. Soups are homemade and delicious. It's THE go to place for breakfast.
I HIGHLY recommend the burgers. There are a lot of places that specialize in burgers in Joliet, but none of them can come close to Louie's.

“My mother found this place to host our baby shower and they were so wonderful to work with! Bruce helped my mother with every question she had and made the entire planning process extremely easy. We chose to do a brunch and were able to be let in early with plenty of time to set up before guests arrived. The food was great, the atmosphere was wonderful, and everyone had such a great time. “The French fries I had, tasted so good. To some people body, they can't handle all of the body soak, that I can handle. Of seasoning or sauce. The restaurant had a promotion, then an exit of the old place, it use to be, before another taco place, or something I don't know. A great place.“

“Had a very nice experience here. Service was great, I was informed there were peas in a dish by my server, which wasn’t written on the menu. It was a lifesaver to know since I absolutely hate peas. The portions were massive and my friends and I only ate half our food and we basically took 2-3 more meals home for the price of one pasta since there is a buy one get one to take home deal for pastas. Well worth the money. I spent $31 including tip during my visit. Only qualm is that it’s quite dark inside with only table lighting but I suppose that’s the kind of atmosphere/ambience they’re going for.“

“Six small tables inside. However, much better to order food to-go from here. Doesn’t seem like many people come to eat inside. We sat in the restaurant to eat and were there for about an hour and while people came to pick up orders, no one sat here.

We had beef brisket and fries. I would recommend both. Good tasty street style food

“Dubsdread, after the recent bunker renovation, is just awesome. The front 9 has a tremendous series of par 4’s. The topography on the back 9, starting on hole 12, differentiates this track from others in the Chicagoland area. Course 1 & 3 are solid “classic” courses and great for junior golfers (and in very good condition).“
