“My 1st time visiting Skeleton Key Brewery. Our Home Brew Club, Plainfield Ale & Lager Enthusiast (PALE) had our monthly meeting at Skeleton Key. The brewery is very nice. The main taproom has a large bar and plenty of booths and tables to accommodate guests. And most importantly the beers are very good! The restrooms are clean and additional seating and private rooms are available around back where the brewery is located. Our club had a wonderful evening at Skeleton Key Brewery! Thanks to the staff for accommodating our club members, we had a great time! Cheers 🍻“

“well I had the pleasure to work here today, and even though it was court related I am so wanting and willing to help again on my own! its amazing that there are places and people who are out here in the world that we live in that care so much for others when mostly the people we have in our lives don't bother to try. “Delicious lagers and best staff“

“Great beers (as usual). Tonight’s review is for the featured “food truck” experience the Counting Crow. Full disclosure, we have never tasted CC prior, although online it looks like they regularly service most of the top Independent craft brewers for some time throughout suburban Chicagoland. Given their excellent reviews, was excited to taste. Nope. Didn’t realize their posted 5-7 limited quantities meant exactly that. By 6:00 pm on a warm busy spring Friday evening, CC was already sold out of 2/3rds of their (flash heated on a table top griddle) menu of Pork belly tacos and Shrimp po’boys (on a Friday, in lent)? Which only left the many hungry to enjoy their signature chicken sandwich (original, medium spicy and extra spicy) served with chips. While the sourcing of their chicken breasts (decent size/texture meaty and fried well) was good, their temperature plated was lukewarm and underwhelming. Maybe a pop up on the patio isn’t the best way to promote your food, Idk. Not a fan and can’t recommend. Definitely won’t go out of my way to sample again“

“We ate at Phase Three today at the recommendation of my doctor. And it did NOT disappoint. We even got a complimentary meal from the Executive Chef so he didn’t waste the plate after taking pictures of his new special. To say the food was amazing is an understatement. There were so many flavors and they all blended so dang well. They even had some unique beer option that we brought home. If your down in the Chicago area or willing to make the trip, it’s definitely worth it“

The big thing, for me is, their dubbel they brew. I drink a ton of Belgian dubbels, triples and quads. Finding an American brewed version that's any good is basically impossible. Victory and allagash do an ok triple I'll buy if they're on tap at a bar or restaurant, but nothing I'm going to buy at a liquor store when other options are available. Whiskey hill's dubbel is fantastic though. I don't know why they don't sell it in cans ready to go.“

We group of 4 went Lunar Brewing couple of times 20 years ago, my brother and been talking about coming back. Today after leaving noisy,yuppy, pricy Yardhouse. We opted to Lunar, now I found new pub to spend our weekend chilly brewing after 30 years @ Brixies Saloon (Brookfield) which personally closed to me in 2017. I reside in Romeoville/ Plainfield since 2004. Nothing out there, Really“
