“I’ve been to Greece four different times, and I can tell you right now — Greek Islands gets as close to authentic Greek food as you can possibly get without boarding a flight to Athens.

The food was simply amazing. The chicken kebabs were perfectly seasoned, juicy, and grilled exactly the way they do it overseas. And the Mediterranean chicken with rice Wow. Full of flavor, tender, and seasoned in a way that instantly brings you back to a seaside taverna. Every bite tasted fresh no shortcuts here.

The calamari was so fresh, I could’ve sworn Poseidon brought the octopus in himself. Lightly breaded, perfectly fried, and incredibly tender — not rubbery at all. That’s how you know it’s the real deal.

The restaurant was super busy, and honestly, I could tell why. When a place is packed like that, it usually means one thing: they’re doing something right. The aesthetics of the restaurant are super cool too — it has that vibrant, warm Greek vibe that makes the whole experience feel authentic and lively.

“I have been here twice now, first time for drinks and apps and second time we threw a private event. This place is adorable, really cute vibes and welcoming atmosphere! Service is great we loved our party bartenders especially Jason who was on top of drinks and service all night during the party! We hosted about 40 people on a Friday night, did a buffet from their list of event menus. Food was great and I heard a lot of the guests complementing the food. The apps I had off of the regular menu were also really good! They have a great wine selection and other beer, seltzers and cocktails so there is something for everyone. Highly recommended for a night out, or private event!“

“Limited menu but they change on the seasons. I like that you can add a lobster tail. They vary in how good they are. The waiter was no where to be seen in between him getting our order. Had to ask others for help. I had the pork chop and you’d think you’d get potato and veggie. No. The sauce was terribly sweet so I was so glad I got it on the side. Worst old fashioned I’d ever had. The desserts are cute.“

“I would give this place 100 stars if able! I had to plan a rehearsal luncheon for my son's wedding in Joliet in mid May with only 2 months notice. Since we live in North Carolina, I had to do all the research online. Thank heaven I came across SixtyFour Reserve Room in a Google search. The manager, Andrew, contacted me right away and was so helpful in making suggestions for our event. Cheryl, the events manager, took over in finalizing all the arrangements. There are so many different options for appetizers, meal combinations, wine, cocktails and beer! Our guests were able to choose their favorites ahead of time. When we arrived on the day of the event, we were so delighted by the venue! Everything I had requested was in place, and Cheryl and our amazing server/bartender, Alex, immediately greeted us and made everyone feel welcome. The appetizers and meals were served efficiently and right on the timeline I had planned. The food was incredibly delicious with a pleasing presentation. Our guests had so much fun with the Wine Stations, and the whiskey lovers appreciated the variety of choices. Everyone raved about how much they enjoyed the food, drink and ambiance. Best of all, I was able to relax and enjoy our guests since all the work was done by Andrew, Cheryl, Alex and the kitchen staff. The cost was very reasonable, especially so close to Chicago. “1st visit to MK Steak and we were very impressed. We were seated right away and started with wine and cocktails ( spicy Bees Knees was awesome!). Our server, Chelsea, was knowledgeable, friendly and tentative. Atmosphere was lively but not loud. Both our entrees were cooked to perfection. My husband, who knows his steaks, was pleasantly surprised to hear the steaks are from Meats by Linz. His steak was amazing- great flavor. I had the scallops, which were also very good. The baked French Onion soup was hot and cheese was nicely browned. We were too full for dessert but saw a few being served. So wish I had saved room! We will be back!“

“Tribute in Villa Park is the coziest, quirky little night spot around! Tribute is not way off the beaten path located across the street from the Villa Park Historical museum and the Illinois Prairie Path.

When you're inside Tribute you just feel at home and you get a neighborly backyard party kind of feeling.

The staff is super friendly and they have a fun trivia night on Wednesdays.

There's a spacious outdoor patio and a cozy banquet/ meeting room with floor to ceiling windows that makes you feel like your outdoors.
