“Initially i stopped eating here. At first because i felt like sides didn’t have much flavor especially the macaroni buttttt i went back yesterday after it’s been a few months and OMG what a change ! The macaroni was very cheesy & creamy the best it’s ever been , the sweet potatoes were nice a sweet , the ribs are always amazing and the cornbread was good but cold . The greens were good and flavorful but not as soft as I’d prefer but they were still really good .“

They took the time to ensure we knew all the options available, offered samples and more! The cheesy baked potatoes, brisket and apple cobbler were amazing! If you haven’t visited them yet it’s certainly worth your time and worth the drive.“
“Great place to eat a little on the expensive side but it was delicious. I had the half rack of ribs with fries and mashed potatoes. It was worth getting. I wanted one of their burgers but that was a little out of my price range.They had a deal on the ribs though for $9 a half rack so I got that instead.“
“FANTASTIC!!! You might want to put this on your "go to" list for your next party/gathering/just too tired to cook list! Next time it's your turn to pick up food for your office, or family gathering.....if you want to impress everyone, GO Here!!! You know how most barbecue places put SO much sauce on...to cover up a dry cut of meat..... not here! I loved it...their sauce is just right...and I am super picky!!! Their fries are spot on....and my Grandparents owned a drive in on West State in the mid 50's, so I KNOW how good fries are! Their coleslaw was over the top good, I went back for thirds!!! I was lucky enough to have a manager go here for food for our store inventory lunch, he said they/owners treated him like family, went out of her way to make sure our food was fresh, and hot for our event....she even toasted the buns for us, YUM!! The next (dozen) times we eat out, we will be going here, (even though it's 35 minute drive). I would give 20 stars if I could!!!!! I don't give very many reviews, because honestly I can't find places that are worthy!!!“
“first impression was amazing. food was genuinely just delicious and appetizing. had the pig candy, meat and cheese board for appetizers and the schnitzel sandwhich and philly cheese and everything came out awesome. service was great i think our servers name was Kylie she was very attentive and nice :)“
“This was my first time at this restaurant I went with my kids and I had an awesome time. I had the option of hitting the waitlist button online before I even arrived. Once you hit the wait time button online you have 15 minutes to get there I did this when I got there. There was a table ready for me within one minute staff is extremely friendly. The owner is extremely friendly and the food is awesome. It is very delicious and well cooked and the portions are very large. The margaritas especially the mango are fire and the prices are very reasonable. I would go here again! This is a must do at least once in your life, you will not regret it atmosphere is very friendly and wonderful!“

“I ordered delivery from Southern Smoke BBQ Pit thru Doordash. As always, the food was AMAZING!!! I can't find better coleslaw or quality BBQ anywhere else in the area!Tonight, they gave me a free piece of the most delicious cake for free!!! They sent a hand written note apologizing for my order being picked up late! I didn't care, but the fact they did, and they make it such a personal experience (even with delivery!) warms my heart! I'm recommending them to EVERYONE, even at my own duress. If I keep telling people about this spot, they'll never have what I want left when I order, lol!BEST IN TOWN!!!“

“This was our first time in since the new owner took over last year. My kids both got hotdog meals. One with mac-n-cheese and one with the baked beans (their personal favorites). There wasn’t a bite left from either one! I decided on a 2 meat dinner with the beans and coleslaw. I got brisket to compare from my last visit. The flavor was as good as I remembered. I also decided to try the shredded chicken. Cooked great! Nice and juicy. Overall, I couldn’t find anything to complain about this visit. We’ll be back.“
“This place is absolutely perfect! The food is exquisite; staff is very nice and attentive & shows you how-to if it's your first time; and the dessert selection is out of this world. We had the strawberry cheesecake bingsu. Delicious! 10/10 recommend.“
