“I scheduled an event here sight not seen on August 31st for a 65th Birthday Celebration. This place is a hidden gem. Absolutely gorgeous. The room is spacious yet can be very intimate. Thank you so much to Ms. Evelyn Randle and Ms. Arika for taking care of me. The CVS Class of 1977 raved about this place all while we were there. We are scheduling our next event. Look out for Ms. Evelyn. Thank you guys once again. P.S, I would give it 6 stars but you are only allowed 5.“

“well I'm really torn on if I should recommend or not... most of the time the food is fine but when it comes to fundraisers they are really really horrid. let's put a box out and not put anything on the box so the majority of the people have no idea about tossing their receipts in there for a cause... im pretty sure they make enough money where they can put something on the boxes for the customers... if they are so scared about losing money don't even bother... yesterday I was there around 4 and not one person threw a receipt in the box.. I was the first.... second fundraiser and second time unless you already knew, had no idea about it.. .“

“Our server today was Savannah. Her customer service was excellent! She made my son’s birthday breakfast a great experience. The other staff members were great as well. The food was good, and the restaurant’s eating area was clean. The boys did say the men’s restroom could use some freshening up. I do recommend this Denny’s and we hope to visit again.“

“I just happened to crash out in Lansing Illinois for the night. This place was right down the road from my room. Had an old school look and a comfortable feeling. The bartender that waited on me was an absolute doll. She took great care of me. I got the twisted turkey sandwich and the rueben quesadilla. I really wasn't expecting much, but let me tell you they were both fantastic. They obviously only use grade A ingredients and it shows. If you're ever in Lansing illinois, JJ KELLEYS is a must stop.“

“Came with my family on the way to a concert, had lovely service and were very helpful people. Gave us new things to try as we were dining in, and were overall very nice and the food was amazing! I highly recommend stopping through here if you have the time.“

“We ordered the cod dinner on 1/29 and it was delicious. However, when we sat down in a booth we noticed an elderly lady struggling to walk up the icy sidewalk from the parking lot. When the young man brought our food we told him about it and suggested someone spread salt on the area. He was nice and thanked us for mentioning it. However, in the 45 minutes we sat there no one followed through and actually salted the sidewalk. Not good, Culvers.“

“My server Irene was nice and very attentive. She suggested a couple of entrees. The Billionaires Bacon Burger was satisfying and the Sweet Potato Fries were delicious!! The Pineapple Habanero Wings were a solid 10/10. They also have the coldest Draft Beers I've ever had so that's definitely a plus. The atmosphere was comfortable. I genuinely recommend you give them a try.“

“Visiting the area and family wanted us to try their brews as one of their favorites. Tried a flight of 10 beers and favs were Tangerine Trackstar, Toxic Words, Lucifer in a haze, Immoveable King, Nuban overlord and the top one Here comes the reaper. We also had the Pretzel and queso for snacks. They were very good and fast. They also had ice tea which is not always available at breweries. I will say the art work gave me pause and some of the names being a Christian but I don't know the background to comment.“

She is very familiar with event hosting and has a solid understanding of the wedding industry. It was a pleasure to work with Dani for her reliable communication, attention to detail, and professional coordination of vendors and reception timeline. Dani respected our floor plan design so the seating arrangement was exactly what we envisioned for our wedding. There was ample seating and space for our DJ, photo booth, dessert table and a gifts table. Our guests especially loved the food and the open bar. Overall, we were pleased with the entire server staff of The Emerald Green. If you are interested in a beautiful venue to host your next event, we recommend this!“
