“ate Mattie's for lunch for the first time ever (thankfully pick up because man they got PACKED fast! I can see why!) the food was absolutely amazing; best wings ive had in a LONG time, smothered fries were 🤤🤤🤤 & my mom loved the burger and side salad! Just wish they had chicken strips as an option! i had to go to kreckels for my daughters strips and oof was a nightmare) but I will definitely be returning!! the waitress was so sweet! I had issues with phone service and she was so kind about it & nice and welcoming when I picked up! and the prices were not what I expected- cheapest ive paid for that good a lunch in a long time!“

I seriously got my money worth instead of going to some fast food place which would have costed the same if not more. I spent 9 dollars and got a drink and a delicious double cheese burger that was cooked to order. 😋 they also have ice cream so it would be a great place to go for the kids, they have many flavors. And even with them being super busy I literally only waited a few minutes to get my food. I was very impressed about the wait time with it being cooked from order super fresh veggies and again I'd highly recommend coming here.“

“Great small town, Decatur, Illinois local owners, and has the best custard ice cream, creamy and tasty. I just love their lemon strawberry twist. My husband loves the burgers and fries. Once you try it out, you'll go back for more.

Parking: Small parking lot, but it's mostly to go orders. Had outdoor tables and benches convenient for family members, friends, and roadrrip stopped and have a unique atmospheric place with a huge roste metallic structure right in front, family's owned logo. Great experience...“

“We're 50 min away from this krekels .and will drive there for now on ...service. food and inside cleanliness. Was 10..good attitudes /and there air worked ...these are all things ....that spfld krekels does not offer.......most of the times ...we've been in there .....spfld krekels. Seems to not go by .....even though we're driving farther for better all around. Experience....it's a few dollars cheaper also ...my hats off to management and essentially staff of Mt lions krekels....“

(6 p.m. on a Wednesday) Their lemon pepper seasoning is heavenly and the hot sauce is perfect. Highly recommend, we’ll be back!!“

“I stopped by HotShots Bar & Grill around 3 PM and was impressed right from the moment I walked in. The service was quick—someone greeted me as soon as I stepped through the door, and within the first 30 minutes, I noticed the management (Drew) making their rounds, personally checking in with customers. That kind of attention to detail is always a good sign.

The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable. The music was playing at just the right volume—not too loud, not too quiet—and the lighting set a chill vibe without being too dim. Even though it was a slower time of day, the place still had a welcoming energy that made me want to hang out longer.

Food came out fast and hot, just the way it should. My drink was perfectly mixed with the right balance—no heavy hand on the liquor or syrupy mess. And I’ve gotta give a shoutout to Bri, the bartender. She was amazing—friendly, on top of things, and made the whole experience even better. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to.“

“Best Dairy Queen. Clean each time you go in. They move their drive thru like super fast. Theyre the only dairy queen that seems to comprehend food first, then you make the ice cream so it's not melted. They do it right at this one. I have one 2 blocks from me and I purposely drive the 20 minutes to go to this one because of the purpose of food made then take a minute or two later then ice cream. I repeat it because seriously I can't tell you how many times the one on 1st street gives melted ice cream.
