“Starbucks in Mahomet is still new so they'll get a little grace from me. The service is a bit on the slower side compared to The typical Starbucks experience and the drink was nearly perfect but not quite there just yet. Here is to hoping the remain successful because it's a good addition to the town“

“Why don’t you have lemonade?? The McDonald’s in Gilman does and it is delicious! It’s a great alternative to pop for people who don’t like orange Hi-C or tea.“

“To all of you complaining about the drive-thru wait times, I have an idea: get out of your car and order INSIDE! Oftentimes, you can find 2-3 employees taking orders at the same time. You can see how many cars are in the drive-thru and figure that it's going to take a while to take each car's order, payment, make your drink &/or food, package your food, hand you your food, and then wait for the car to pull out! For those of you stewing at the drive-thru wait times, you may wish to think about just how unreasonable your expectations and demands are and make some changes to your thinking patterns & life! You CAN become a more patient and better person. I agree with the man who posted that this is the busiest Starbucks - both inside & the drive-thru! I also agree with him that it is the best-managed Starbucks (that I have ever been to) and that their employees are second to none in the industry! They work extremely hard & put in long hours, put up with rude people, have to make ridiculously complicated drinks for some people, and then if they have to close the store at night, have to thoroughly clean everything and vacuum & mop the floors before leaving! How many of you seemingly over-indulged & privileged people could do ALL THAT for the (most likely) $13-14/hour they earn??? I'm 65 years old and have been going to this Starbucks since they opened. I have been to Starbucks all over the U.S. and can state, without a doubt, that THIS Starbucks makes their drinks EXACTLY as Corporate requires! That is not true of every Starbucks I've ever visited. In closing, if you don't want to wait your turn, may I suggest you go to the Starbucks in Campustown.“

“This place is a small town gem. Partner and I passed through the area driving back to Champaign. The guy working there was super nice and generous. Partner got a cone and I got the Shake special (cinnamon toast crunch, totally bomb and packed full of cereal!). We were impressed by the quality and creativity of the ice cream. Would definitely stop in again and try the affogato if we're ever driving through Fisher.“

“So, my family and I went out for dinner at Crawfords this evening. Afterward, we decided to get ice cream next door, but unfortunately, they were closed. As we were walking away, the young lady stopped cleaning up and invited us in. l would like to recognize this young lady that was working the evening of 8/27 she was very pleasant and made our evening.“

“Great location and very kind staff. Unfortunately, they’ve been giving me American cheese most of the time when I customized it to cheddar and it’s getting a bit annoying. It didn’t happen much before but the last 6mos it happens most of the time. Coffees became inconsistent around the same time, as well. Ratios just aren’t consistent like they were.“

“Rad Lad Games would like to reiterate that Yo-yo’s is the best coffee shop in town and absolutely 1000% the best coffee shop on Lombard. Not sure what to get? Feelin a little fancy? Grab a hot Chai Latte - it’s so delicious, it’s like ordering desert for my wake up sauce, it is incredible. Yo-yos is an amazingly supportive and innovative business that has continued to change as difficulties present themselves - and they continue to not only show up for their customers - but for the community. Need Santa’s sleigh sponsored in December? Yoyos will have your back! Because they care, and they put so much work into making the experience as great as possible for everyone. Can it always be perfect? Judging by the sub-100% score - absolutely not. But the difference is that they will be HERE when there is a problem, they will feel bad when mistakes are made, they will own those. And some other places - ya know…maybe not so much.“
