We also tired their appetizer sampler, which in my opinion the space balls were the star. The service was fantastic and very friendly. The place was extremely clean and well maintained. The food was delicious - huge portions, the specials include soup and salad and the amazing service from Paulette was absolutely wonderful. I had the ribs - yummy and they fall off the bone. We came in close to closing and ordered this pizza - they were happy to make it for us and went out of their way to make us comfortable while we waited for it. We were not disappointed. This was the most delicious pizza we've had - better than Giordonos deep dish.“

“I love their pizza, but tonight I feel that I received absolutely terrible service. I called at 7:45. I believe that they close at 9. The first time I said "Hi, I would like to order a pizza for delivery." Respons : Male voice "Goodbye" Hang up. I call back open line and a lot of laughing in the back ground. I say hello... hello. Hang up. I call back again. A girl answers and again I state that I want a pizza for delivery. Response: We aren't taking any more orders. I say OK thanks fr letting me know, and this is a better response than the guy hanging up on me. At this point she says nothing and just hangs up. That is a bs response and way to deal with cuatomers. I used to deliver for Gino's East back in the day and you make your bones on New Year's because everyone is drunk and hungry and you make great tips. Crap service from ordinarily a good place. Managers need to take charge.“

“I'm a truck driver and I delivered a load to Joliet. After making my delivery, I parked at the Love's truck stop in Joliet. I was born in Chicago and spent my adolescent years in Berwyn/Cicero until my family moved to Florida when I was 13. It's been 35 years since I had Chicago pizza. I looked on line for pizza places near me and ultimately settled on Beggar's. I'm very glad I did! I ordered two pizzas so I would have plenty left over for the next couple of days. The pizzas were still straight out of the oven hot when I got them. Toppings were fresh and plentiful. Real sausage. Smothered in cheese. And the best of all, cut into squares. Thanks for the wonderful dinner and the trip down memory lane.“
