“Highly recommended authentic and well executed traditional Chicago tavern-style pizza. Ingredients were FRESH for instance mushrooms were fresh not canned. Crust crisp, sauce just right. Great selection of specialty draft beers. Location fantastic right off the park adjacent to plank trail. Perfect place to stop for pizza and beet. Clean bathrooms and spacious dining area. The first time I said "Hi, I would like to order a pizza for delivery." Respons : Male voice "Goodbye" Hang up. I call back open line and a lot of laughing in the back ground. I say hello... hello. Hang up. I call back again. A girl answers and again I state that I want a pizza for delivery. Response: We aren't taking any more orders. I say OK thanks fr letting me know, and this is a better response than the guy hanging up on me. At this point she says nothing and just hangs up. That is a bs response and way to deal with cuatomers. I used to deliver for Gino's East back in the day and you make your bones on New Year's because everyone is drunk and hungry and you make great tips. Crap service from ordinarily a good place. Managers need to take charge.“

“I had to give a review on this store. THIS BEGGARS PIZZA IS AMAZING !!!!. I am a senior living on a fixed income. My treat to myself is ordering a pizza from the BEGGARS in Cresthill, Illinois. I always order the same, family size, sausage, mushroom and green pepper. So I ordered this past Saturday my usual. It cost me close to $40.00 with tip and delivery. When my pizza arrived it was not my order but instead a family size plain cheese. I called them back and explained the situation. The guy I spoke to was Sean , I think. He was so sweet and professional, explaining about how they were uploading a new website and there must have been a glitch. They made me a new pizza of my choice and told me to keep the one they had delivered. If you have ever had BEGGARS Pizza you know how thick with toppings they are. I always order a family so I will have plenty to freeze to enjoy at another time. Usually for 4-5 extra meals. I now have enough for 10-12 meals with 2 family size. And they reheat in the air fryer or oven to perfection. I love BEGGARS PIZZA. Thank you for making this old lady very happy.“
