“I've been wanting to go to this restaurant because I heard so much about it.So I had my son take me. The food was okay, very overpriced. they have a special from 3 to 6. The only way you find out is when you go in the bathroom and look at the wall, the advertisement. tacos are from $5-7 dollars. 😒“

“I went here Sunday for lunch. The food and service was excellent. I had the steak and chorizo taco with rice and beans. Both tacos were filled with meat. Super good and filling. I highly recommend the apple pie. I got the dessert to go and it did not disappoint. It was the best apple pie I have ever had.“

“Como Cristiana me encanta visitar. Cuando me toca cerca de la TV le bajan al volumen para que la música secular no retumbe en mi oído. La birria y el pozole es lo que más pido pero todo tiene su gran sazón. Un excelente lugar para disfrutar, solo o en familia . Me encanta.“

“Folks food is fantastic, truck driver here from Texas and I will definitely admit this place is Good!!! I try not to listen to reviews and try things for myself but I will definitely agree to say, OMG!!! Burritos are fantastic stuff and full of flavor. To my drivers stop and get some great tasting food, to everyone else there’s no reason not to try. Also prices are very favorable. Must try.“

“This place is so cute! We decided to swing by after our pastor put our WHOLE congregation on the churro sundae. Shoutout to him because it is absolutely delicious! We got ours with the yellow vanilla ice cream and *chef’s kiss* We didn’t know this was connected to an actual Mexican restaurant, but we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the chicken and steak tacos. Would recommend!“

“It is heartwarming to see a family working hard and earning a living. It is take out only. We had the steak burrito and it was tasty and the meat was in generous portions and it was nice and hot on a cold rainy day. The prices are the best.$9.55 for a steak burrito is unbeatable. I highly recommend this place. Honest and hardworking folk.“

“Found this hidden gem on accident. Another place close by had over an hour wait so we came here, (we were starving). Best accident ever, and have been coming back regularly ever since!!! “Hands down the best authentic Mexican spot in Harvey. The menudo was DELICIOUS. The gorditas are fresh and hand made. The service is fantastic. All the food is authentic. I'll be back next time I'm in the area. Great find while visiting a friend in the hospital“

“We have been coming to this little hidden Gem in the BP Gas Station for years. Most authentic food around town. When you see everyone within the community coming here it shows our support for local business. The prices might be a bit high, but the food is worth every penny you spend. “We ordered from the Mama Maria’s catering menu for a small gathering of 10-12 ppl we were having. EVERYTHING WAS FANTASTIC! The gentleman who took my original inquiry was pleasant, helpful and explained everything in detail. The night of the order we were running behind schedule and I called to the restaurant to make the change with no problem. When I arrived to pick up the order they were so helpful and even carried the order out to my car without hesitation. The food was amazing! All my guests loved it and it was a big hit of the weekend. Plus everything was packaged so nicely and labeled clearly. It was an abundance of food and we will definitely be ordering again! Thanks Mama!“

“Excellent Mexican food. Our favorite go to get burritos. They are usually very busy but we were able to get right in. The server greeted us and served us chips and water right away. They are very friendly and have really good asada burritos as well as the chips and salsa. Plus they are open very late.“

“I LOVE the jerk chicken tacos, they are so FYE!!!! Whoever would”ve thought or known that a Mexican/Latino place can make jerk chicken tacos BETTER than these African places and I STAND on that! I don’t even get any sauce because it’s not needed. Im hooked to the point I haven’t even tried anything else on the menu besides the Mexican corn and it’s fye too! Eventually I will try other menu items but right now I just can’t get pass them JERK CHICKEN TACOS that I eat at least 3 times a week. They NEVER disappoint!“
