Restaurantji's guide to Mendota's top Mexican dining experiences.
“El Rey Del Taco is a fabulous place. The service is very polite and helpful. There were quite a few people eating at the restaurant and the waitress was able to handle everyone there. Food was excellent and plentiful. Very clean restaurant. Plenty of parking. We will definitely be going backParking: Parking lot on the North side of the building and also on the street.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheel chair ramp leads to the deck of the entrance on the North side.“
“We like the food and the people here. Great food. The prices are very reasonable. The pictures here are from the bar & restaurant that burned out about 3 buildings across the street from where they are now. We like this new place better.“
“Greatly exceeded our expectations for a Taco Bell location with a friendly, courteous staff that did their work with a smile. They noticed we were traveling with a small child and baby and went out of their way to bring our order to the table. An outstanding showcase location for Yum Brands!“
“Tonight we entered for a late dinner and the serving staff was slammed. Not only was our food exceptional, our service was even better! Our waitress went above and beyond, meeting the needs of everyone around the table. Frequent patrons of this restaurant because of these reasons! Thank you for the excellent customer care!“
“Love the food. Service is usually good. (I think out of ten visits one time service was little lazy, but may have been an off day for the server- we all have them) typically we stop in at off meal times, so pretty empty atmosphere - but that the way my wife and I like it, part of why we don't go out at typical meal times. most recent visit was just before the sweet corn fest parade, was surprised it wasn't busy, but everyone probably at the festival already. Dinning room typically clean, restrooms can be a different story, just do yourself the favor of eating first, in case you loose your appetite.“
