“I ordered for pickup. The place inside was clean. I had the chile relleno taco, it was good just thought it would be a whole chile like “el milagro”. Guacamole was delish and my husband said his asada tacos were great too! Told him it has a drive thru and he said “found our new spot!”“

“The young gentleman who works there is the owner's son and he was so patient and nice to me and my daughter. He explained what certain items were, some of the history of the store, and was very personable overall. Plus the Fresada and Mangonada were sooooooo freaking good. We were able to share them because they were nice sizes also. Go check them out ASAP.“

“I've been wanting to go to this restaurant because I heard so much about it.So I had my son take me. The food was okay, very overpriced. they have a special from 3 to 6. The only way you find out is when you go in the bathroom and look at the wall, the advertisement. tacos are from $5-7 dollars. 😒“

“I don't even know where to begin. The service is always above and beyond awesome (♡ Ruby and Dahlia)! This is a family owned business (and owner and family are always there working their butts off and checking to see everyone is happy) and it is obvious that they take pride in what they serve and they really appreciate their customers. I have ordered many different dishes from the menu and everything is always delicious and hot and cooked exactly as I ordered. The margaritas are top notch. My absolute favorite is the cucumber magarita. Make sure to try their tableside guac...so good!!! Carne Asada is excellent. I hesitate to share this review because I'd love to keep this hidden gem all to myself but some things just need to be shared with the world. You're welcome!!!“

“I went here Sunday for lunch. The food and service was excellent. I had the steak and chorizo taco with rice and beans. Both tacos were filled with meat. Super good and filling. I highly recommend the apple pie. I got the dessert to go and it did not disappoint. It was the best apple pie I have ever had.“

“Had my birthday party there and they were so accommodating and nice. Service, food, and drinks were awesome. The djs had everyone dancing all night. I totally recommend people to do their birthday parties here💞“

“I can't believe I passed this place up so many times and it's only 2 mins from my house. The tacos are good especially the chicken, in my opinion. You have an option of grilled or shredded. I like the grilled chicken. I haven't tried the shredded chicken. The steak tacos are good too. My son loves the quesabirras and their horchata drink. The chicken burrito is pretty good also and full of your meat of choice. Try them out. You won't be disappointed. PLEASE DONT GET THEM CONFUSED WITH EL RANCHITO ACROSS THE STREET, IN THE STRP MALL. THEY ARE NOT THE SAME!“

“This is how you open up a restaurant and keep business coming. They’re clean, respectful and is full of life. Prices are responsible and everything is good. They’re fast and efficient. I love this Mexican spot and I will continue to come. They don’t have liquor so if you’re coming to get drunk, I wouldn’t suggest. But for food. 10/10“

“Nice mom & pops place. the people are very nice, tacos were good 4.2/5, but my only issue was that I felt the tacos were overpriced, especially when you have to pay for the extras. Like cheese, sour cream, etc it's 50 cents per item per taco. Would I go again? Yes but only on pay day“

Parking: Small mall with probably 12 parking spots but most people are in and out currency exchange and a sandwich shop.“

“Food was fresh I ordered two steak tacos, a steak quesadilla, chips and guacamole. The chips were thin and crispy I literally ate the whole page and wanted more. Guacamole was fresh and not bland at all. Tacos were juicy and steak seasoned well not too salty and it wasn’t any fat which I appreciate that. I will be ordering again before the week is out“

“Delicious food, reasonable prices, and friendly staff. They have traditional paletas in the restaurant too which is such a good idea of theirs!! And our favorite part of going. Highly recommend trying their food then treating yourself to a paleta afterwards.“

nice complete menu, all the favorites. walked in and ordered a bunch of tacos: pollo, chorizo, carnitas, tilapia, ground beef. order was ready in 5 minutes. tacos were a nice size with plenty of meat and fixings. the toppings varied with the fillings, a nice touch. came with hot and mild sauces, the red sauce (hot?) was delicious, tasted home made. there's a nice little outdoor al fresco patio with those little lights like 'romancing the stone'. gotta come back with a date!“

“I often order jerk 48 Beverly when I am at work. I have to control my eating though, because they give you such a large portion that if I were to eat at all, I wouldn’t be able to finish the day! My favorite is the jerk shrimp and chicken pineapple bowl. Any time I have ordered they never disappoint and my food is always on point. I appreciate having a place that I can rely on for exactly what I ordered the way I order it.“

“I was at SSC for my son's graduation ceremony and was hungry, I tried to go to a birriera place down the block but they were closed. So I found this place and it exceeded my expectations. I was hoping for just some decent tacos but they were better than decent. Only problem now is, I live in Indiana, 30 minutes from here...so I'm gonna have to take a lil drive for these tacos again 😆! Carne asada, pastor and lengua tacos on homemade and regular corn tortillas were all delicious. The asada had a bit of a sweet flavor to it, I assume they might use oranges as a marinade idk, they were good either way.“

“Man these Tacos and Tortas are the best. Every time I am in the South suburbs I come here to grab some. They are cash only so come with cash. The guy's been working here forever. They just recently repainted and remodeled just a little bit. The food is the same from years ago when I was coming here. I'm glad they're back open“
