“I stopped here with my boyfriend on the way out of town. We both had quiche (different kinds), and both were just fantastic. We also both had the Cream of Mushroom soup and loved it. Further, the service is excellent. We had a hiccup with our order, and when we pointed it out, the owner personally made sure it was immediately made right. This is a five star place. I can’t wait to come back.“

“This place is great. They only offer two main dishes and those change daily. The food is really good, and the cost for a full meal is a suggested $10. The proceeds go to run the place, and help people with food insecurity. So if you don't have the cash, you can pay less. Or volunteer for free meals. It's such a great service to the community.Vegetarian options: There is always a vegetarian option.“

“Cool place to stop for a drink, a coffee, etc., Artsy dive for special people to gather for special occasions. There was a zine detailing events on the horizon through summer. A good place to stop, albeit briefly, for 4/20/24 - nice crowd there, they had N64 Smash Brothers on the projector, a little arts market, and some comedy (which I caught the tail end of). Marz CBD seltzer offerings a plus, food looked good but I had a PBR. Enjoyed hanging in the very chill next door courtyard - it looks like they have a drive thru/ side order widow but I didn't actually see it used. Played a couple games of chess there earlier in the day. Also, someone was DJing and it looked as though they had a nice DJ booth / set of turntables and mixer, in the front of the venue.“

“I wasn't sure if the inside area was available for dine-in so I waited in the queue for the drive-in. Once at the window, the ladies told me to come inside to enjoy my breakfast.I got a hot Almond Joy latté which definitely tasted like the candy bar but was also not too sweet! The chorizo breakfast burrito was so good! The cheese was perfectly melted throughout! I wish I would have gotten a video.I also got a pup cup for my dog at home as well as some house-made treats. He loved them all! There were only two people working, and they hustled! They were so busy but they were still super friendly and got everything out in a timely manner. Highly recommend!“

“I came in after working the night shift. It was my first time there so I ordered something off of the "Drinks of the Poets" menu. I got the Kiplin which is a lavender mint latté. It was good! I love the space inside, too. So much seating. And, there looks to be an outdoor area as well.“

“Staying at a hotel down the road I stopped in on a Saturday morning to get some work done. Excellent friendly service with a lot of seating options. I go with drip coffee so the $3.50 bottomless cup is a win. Great view of the river.I come to QCA often as a get away to focus on work or homework. I can see this being a regular stop.“

“This is pure coffee house Americana at its finest. The building has its magic, but it's the people that make you believe. Erin runs this slice of yesterday with lots of love, passion, and professionalism. The food and coffee bring you in. The service brings you “

Their vanilla & chocolate ice cream is fabulous ? the Lg hot fudge sundae could be a little bigger it is like the medium & LG are the same size, I visit both east moline & coalvalley they both do a great job, kudos to the owner.“

“Very neat place but small. The service was adequate, there were only two people working and they were busy. However my meal was great! We started with a local brew and their pretzel and beer cheese dish. The pretzel was HUGE! Definitely a two person or more dish to share. But it was delish and I recommend trying one when you visit. Go for the set red dipping sauce, I forget what it was, but it was good.I had a very tasty signature salad. You've got to try it! From the fresh baby spinach, salty walnut, sweet cranberry, and the feta to the rich balsamic vinegarette dressing, oh my! The combination of flavors! It was truly delicious! I also had a cup of corn chowder that was very hearty, served with toasted baguettes, and I couldn't finish it all. Thankfully, they have to go soup bowls, I love that! Lunch for tomorrow. I snapped a pic below of my meal.“

“Lovely staff. It was nice to have a pleasant conversation with the gentleman taking my order at the drive thru window. They are creative with their drinks if you want something a little different than your norm. I tried the “Honey & Oat Latte” with lavender instead of cinnamon. Pricing is similar to Starbucks, maybe a hair cheaper, but their products are of much better quality.“
