“I went to Red Robin last night and I was not impressed. It's usually rather expensive but at least the food is good. I waited a while and my burger was room temperature. I got the last of the bag fries. Just little pieces of crunchy nothings. Which I would have just eaten anyway. But the big problem was everything was salty. My burger and my fries. Salty to the point that I couldn't eat it. I just bagged it up and took it home for the dog. I didn't season it at all. I'm not sure why they would be putting so much seasoning on their food. especially salt. it's rather annoying when you're paying almost $20 for a burger and you can't eat it. I didn't complain nor ask for my money back but now I wish I would have. I usually don't have a problem with them. Today was a really bad day though.“

“First time customer. Came in during a car cruise. Got the Lochness Moster pork tenderloin sandwich and fries. This was recommended by the waitress. She was spot on. Very good. I will be back. Service was great too!“

“Normally I LOVE this place ... not tonight. 45 mins in the drive through to get a cold burger handed to me , minus my concrete. She said she would go back and get it. Waited 10 more minutes , went inside , the line is out the door . Asked for my concrete, they handed me a completely melted cup of custard .... I asked for my money back. They had plenty of help , but no organization . They were all running around doing 2 or 3 different things , not organized at all, The manger was no where to be found .. I was told she was in the bathroom. When she finally came out , she had an I do nit really care what your complaint is attitude . I got my money back and left ... normally the food is hot and fresh, it takes a bit , but I have never seen such a mess as tonight !“

“I have always found the staff here to be super friendly, some are a little more attentive than others but the service is generally good. I ordered the fish and chips. Our server stated the fish comes with fries, I wasn’t sure how to take that as I have a noticeable British accent. The fries were a little dry but the food was hot and fish was
good. The restaurant is also clean and well maintained.“

While at our home base in Southern Illinois, we were in the Columbia, IL, area and Googled “hamburger restaurants.” We saw Washy’s Pub had good burger reviews, so decided to give them a try for lunch. Washy’s has a simple bar atmosphere with about a dozen tables. We ordered their Classic burger with me having American cheese and my wife pepperjack. We also requested lettuce, pickles, and sliced onions. The handmade patties were about 10 oz (good sized), nicely seasoned, cooked to order, charbroiled, and served on a nicely-toast fresh bun. I had their skinny-style battered fries and my wife had onion rings. The burgers came out hot and were super tasty due the meat seasoning. We’re not sure what seasoning they used, but it worked! My wife’s burger was just a tiny bit better than mine due the pepperjack they use. The fries and onion rings were among the best we’ve had as well. We rated the burgers (even without a special sauce), fries, and onion rings Very Good. The service was also top notch.“

“We were passing through from St Louis, where Sonic is absolutely horrible and you will wait 45 min for cold and/or burnt food. So my whole family was shocked at how pleasant and FAST the service was, and how good and fresh the food was. And correct the first time! “The service was dry to me. The young man (key) who was the server. He was trying to write order down I guess he remembered everything. When the food start coming the manager brought our salads look like he didn't want to be at work. Then when one my friend sandwich came he sent it back it was not well done the waitress that brought it to him took it back to the kitchen and was then once we
were about to pay the bill. He advised
(Key) about it after he paid the bill. I feel that he should had made time to see if he had all of food. So he went back to the kitchen to see what happen that's when he had the sandwich. I hope that the next time I come there, I hope the service is much better. The other thing I didn't like was one of the waitress was vacuum the rug while guest was eating. I understand they trying to the place clean but it's not nice to do that while guests are their food.“
