“This is a standard biker destination. Great place to pull over and relax with a cold drink. Very friendly staff, great view of the river and all the passing river traffic from the outdoor deck. I come here wherever I'm out that way.“

Not many pool tables,about 2-3 its mainly a younger crowd of peeps that head in there.
Bartenders are very friendly as soon as you come inside you are acknowledged 😃

“Was in Joliet and happened upon this bar and decided to stop. Best decision ever !!! The Bloody Mary’s are one of the best I’ve ever had and at a reasonable price ! They also had a nice choice of craft beers and a very welcoming bartender! We plan on stopping by every time we are in town !!!“
“I stopped in and had a few drinks. The bartender was friendly, not a vast selection of hard alcohol, but they had the regular stuff. I asked for food, but no food was available. 2 pool tables, one dart machine, slot machines with a touch game, and iTunes. It was a small place with no table setting, only a bar, but it looked clean and cozy. The bartender seemed very relaxed.“

“Been at Big Basin for about 9 years now, love it there. It's the closest to home and the lowest price of the three marina's on this section of the river. I just need a launch ramp and a dock, but have really enjoyed Big Basin. Parking lot gets a tad crowded on the weekends (of course).“
“I liked it, nice clean facility. Nice big bar area, the grill was clean and the lady cook was very nice, i asked for my amburger in a special way and she accommodated me. My oakbrook OTB is my favorite, been going there for years, but nice to try someplace different. Hawthorne club is a great get away to relax and have fun.“

“Never thought of trying the burger here but wow! The Double bacon ranch burger has changed my life. From the first bit to the last it was a non stop ride of delicious. From the crispy bacon to the juicy patty, and our server Murphy was great this has been the best experience I’ve ever had at a chilis and one of the best experiences I’ve had at any place in a long time. “My family and I just got done with our dinner here, this is usually are go to Thursday spot. The food was excellent as always, service was great - although, they usually are slammed, as in, every table is full from 4pm-7pm, get there early or get there later, because it is crazy at that time. All around great experience always“
