“I wish I took pictures, but we ate everything so quickly… IT’S JUST SO GOOD! We had the Korean hotdogs, mochi donuts and boba coffee and milk tea. Every week they have different mochi donut flavors, try them all! For the Korean hotdogs, you choose your flavor, then if you want mozzarella/sausage, and a dipping sauce. Also, the actual location is cute and inviting with extra seating in the back. Highly recommend!“

“I’ve been to 5 boba shops in the Naperville area and this was the first one that was good AT ALL. They don’t have the best variety, but they have enough and some creative drinks. As for atmosphere and service? Prices were fair. It’s in an h mart so it’s about what you’d expect. Grocery store vibes“

“The best boba place in the area! Brightly lit, exceptionally friendly staff, and some of the best tapioca pearls around. The decor is akin to a modern Japanese boba house. They even have a gotchapon and a cotton candy vending machine. This is a must for all boba lovers!“

We tried five different drinks: blended brown sugar with tapioca, peach gummy bear with lychee tapioca, strawberry gummy bear with strawberry popping, mango with lemon, and another strawberry gummy bear with regular tapioca. All of them were insanely sweet. Like, “kids bouncing off the walls and singing kpop songs at full volume at 10 pm” sweet. Kids loved it. We the bedtime enforcers, did not. The service was a bit slow, but nothing unreasonable. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely come back.“

“The atmosphere was so nice, decorated in anime related stuff and they played Korean music as well as other songs in general. The food was good and filling, the serving portions are just right or more than expected. There are sketchbooks on the table you can draw on which makes eating there more fun. “This place is the only Japanese inspired bubble tea I have found in the county of Dupage and in the west suburbs of Chicago. From Hokkaido milk tea to the shokupan (swirl bread), they offer a variety of Japanese items to try. As someone who grew up in Japan I really appreciate that they have brought in drinks and food that remind me of some piece of home.

I recently noticed that they added jewelry accessories including some Sanrio character earrings. The earring variety may change.

“Clean and quaint. Dining area was full when we arrived. Great food- the eggrolls were some of best I've had. Orange chicken was crispy. Mongolian beef very tasty, but a bit too soft for me ( I prefer a bit of crisp to this dish). Shrimp fried rice was plentiful and very good. I didn't care for the crab rangoon (sweet) or scallion pancake ( chewy)...but I would definitely come back again and get LOTS of eggrolls!“

“Lao Sichuan has the most authentic and consistently amazing Chinese food to be found anywhere in the U.S. Having spent some time living in China while I was in undergrad, there are certain flavors that I crave, which your run of the mill American style Chinese restaurant will not have. My wife and I live in St Charles and make the 1 hour 20 minute round trip at least once a week to get our fix. The food is that good. The owner is seemingly always there, and obviously genuinely cares about ensuring quality in what is served every time. Our favorites are Chengdu Style King Pao Chicken, Ma Po Tofu, Beef in Pure Cumin Powder, Toothpicks Lamb, and the Xiao Long Bao. I cannot for the life of me fathom how this restaurant does not have a higher rating. It is the best. Try it. You won't regret it.“
