“Our car battery went out while the employees were on their way out of a festival. Two of the men working helped us restart our car and were very kind. The food was also delicious and very affordable. I definitely recommend, these are wonderful people.“

“8/29/21 Five stars for fantastic. The hostess was super friendly and talkative when we were sat and checked out. Our server Joe was great and on top of it. The margaritas were so tasty don't pass those over; We had peach and watermelon yum! The meatballs are very tender and delicious just like grandma's. (We ordered one side and had to get a second order to go!) The Chicken Milano, very tender, add mushrooms (w angel hair) and the eggplant parmigiana. Both dishes were extremely hot, and flavorful. Not much too say because they were so good, the Milano and marinara sauces are delicious! This place is a family favorite and it has been awhile since we have been due to the pandemic and oh how we have missed it! Some other reviews for here I don't know about, I would definitely check this place out for yourself.“

“I am from out of town and thought I would stop in for lunch. Honestly I have to say the Korean short ribs were the best that I have ever had. I’ve had them many many places in different states and by far theirs is the best. Very nice very friendly and I will be back a few times before I head back to Ohio. I wish I could take them with me.“

“5+ stars!! Ordered a small rib tip combo to go. Staff was friendly, food was fantastic, wait was short. Rib tips were cooked perfect, BBQ sauce was plenty and full of flavor, hands cut fries drenched in BBQ and a slice of bread. 10 bucks and I'm stuffed. Highly recommend!“

“I’ve been getting barbecue from Louisiana’s for over 5 years. The food is amazing. Ribs aren’t tough it’s slow cooked. Momma says it’s “Memphis style Barbecue”. The sauce is perfect not spicy or sweet; it’s just on point! Best thing to do is make an order, they will not disappoint. “First time using The Shack for catering. It was a seamless process. GREAT food! Bob is wonderful. Pricing was reasonable. On time and food was hot at time of pick up. Can’t recommend them enough for your next event! We’ll definitely be using The Shack again!“

“This is the best bar in Joliet. You can and experience the best atmosphere the best beef sandwiches in Joliet. You will find that the bartenders are very welcoming, nice, and good-looking. No drama. Please come down and have some fun and enjoy.“

“Went here for my birthday lunch. I had been hearing about the Parmesan crusted lamb chops. I also had the strawberry margarita and it was delicious and kinda strong. So the lamb chops was recommended to be cooked well. When they came out they were still pretty pink on the middle. I didn't send them back I just figured I'll put them in the airfryer when I get home. Well I wouldn't recommend that because they were cooked through by time I made it home but I don't feel like they worked up good. I will go try them again in the future. The cheesecake was amazing. I'll be back in the future to try them again.“

“First time there today and I must say they are delicious. I love the fact we ask for a sample of the sauce the guy up front said no problem went and washed his hands before touching the food. Older guy was washing down the grill I’m impressed cause I’ve seen people collect money then prepare food but I make them was their hands. I will be back only thing is tips are cut too big but next time I will ask for small cut.“
