“Love this place. I've been here a few times. The hot chicken sandwich, nachos, and fries are always great. This most recent visit I tried a double smashburger with smash peppers, spicy chopped cheese, and onion rings. The burger was probably the best smashburger I ever had, the beef and bun tasted really fresh, burger patties were crispy and seasoned, and the sauce went really well with it. The chopped cheese was really good, and onion rings were crispy, hot, and seasoned. Highly recommend this place. Everything I've had there is good.“

“I just stopped in for lunch carryout, and I am beyond impressed. I picked up a chicken tikka masala rice bowl with a side of chicken samosas and sat down to eat -- the meal became the highlight of my work day.

The rice bowl came with more than enough food to bring some of it home to the family. I didn't offer any inputs on spice level or anything, and it came out with an excellent combination of proper heat and flavor; love was found in every spoon, and I can't wait to try more from their menu. The samosas are deliciously savory and have a nice crisp to them, and come with a sweet sauce that pairs very well. Their prices surprised me! ~$16 for enough food for two people!

It’s hard to find good halal steak nowadays, especially at a good price.

“Great no fuss late night spot where Uzbeks and Kryrgs and others can come and have tea and chat and enjoy a familiar meal. Various products for sale or to take home. You won't get many words from them. Service is a bit slow but the Food is amazing. Restaurant space is chill and accommodating, plenty of room to sit. Food comes out piping hot. Hours are loose. Show up and see whether they're open. Sometimes they'll hang out past 12 and let people sit in and relax and enjoy their meal. Great spot, glad I found it. Instant favorite.“

“I had to order quite a bit of  food for a lunch for my family and I before we were supposed to be going to a wedding. We stayed at a hotel nearby and knew that we would not eat dinner until much later and needed something to hold us over. This place was the perfect option.
Not only was I able to get the prices over the phone, the people who work here texted me pictures of food, sent prices and confirmed sizes with me and gave recommendations about how much to get for how many people, including telling me how long before I needed to order to make sure I got my order ready in time for pick up since I was ordering in advance.
The Afghani palaou was fantastic, as was the garlic and spicy green sauce.
I especially loved the mix kabobs and I wish they had this option at all afghan/ pakistani places. The option to get a mix tray of kabobs with the pieces cut up would be a game changer for parties!
I ordered a small tray of salad thinking not many people would like it (but I like salad so I figured I would have leftovers for later), but to my surprise that was gobbled up quick! Everyone loved it. I'm a fan of this place and plan on dining in when I come next!“

The staff was super accommodating and the Veg Thali (sampler platter) was absolutely divine. My friends got the Mutton Thali and Chicken Thali and said it is some of the best food they've had in Chicago. Spice level is definitely on the hotter side of restaurants I've been to but that made for a great meal. Incredibly affordable too. At ~$15 per person and plenty of tasty leftovers that keep well, I'll definitely be making a point to return soon.“

A couple of minor points: the biryani would benefit from a saalna or gravy accompaniment, and the masala coating on the tava fish fry felt slightly thick or caked on. Otherwise, enjoyable meal.“

“Tucked away from the main street in Devon is this humble place for some fantastic North Indian cuisine. Great authentic taste !!Had both the tandoori chicken and the chicken along with garlic naan and plain parathas and everything was delicious - Everything served hot and fresh. The tandoori chicken is made after ordering so will take approx 30 mins to be served but it’s worth the wait. The only thing that stuck out as an anomaly is the chicken looks more reddish than regular meat. It could be likely due to the red chilly spice used or maybe a little bit of food coloring ( not sure ).

This not a fine dine but a regular walk in restaurant with limited seating so pls set expectations accordingly. If you are a lover of Indian cuisine, highly recommend checking this out.“

The owner did the cooking and we even learned a few words of Arabic with his help! Shkran! The location is tricky to find as the restaurant is tucked away in the corner of a strip mall on Cumberland Avenue. We live in the northern suburbs, but were in the Norridge area on business. “I was a little hesitant about ordering a vegan sandwich here because I’m not vegan so ordered the egg sandwich with sriracha bacon. My friend ordered the vegan so I could have a taste. The sandwich arrived on a large baguette which they bake fresh daily, actually all their bread is freshly baked. It was amazing and the egg was perfectly cooked. The sriracha bacon gave the sandwich a slight kick and so tasty. I took a bite of a half of the vegan sandwich and just froze. I couldn’t believe how delicious it was. The sandwich is made on fresh toasted rye bread. I ended up devouring the whole half and had to finish my egg sandwich because I couldn’t put it down. Then I went for the hat trick. A vegan ice cream sandwich, vegan peanut butter ice cream between two rich vegan chocolate cookies. The best part is you can’t beat the price. It’s a casual place with a take out window due to COVID. I believe they may be back to indoor dining when the weather changes. However, they do have nice outdoor tables to sit at and enjoy. But if you are ever in Logan Square , be sure to check it out. They have amazing home baked pastries, cookies, and do much more. Even better, the staff at the window are fun, energetic and friendly. Be sure to ask them for recommendations.
