“My boyfriend and I were in Zion for the evening a couple months ago and it was freezing cold so we didn’t want to adventure far. This place was across the street and had great reviews, so we were really excited! Once we showed up we realized they weren’t doing dine in, so we stood in the lobby for a minute to find another place. Eventually, they asked if we’d want to sit down because they saw us standing and waiting. We were the only ones sitting, but it was so nice of them to offer that type of service to us. The food was so good and the service was top notch. We love this place!!!“
“I have driven by this restaurant for 3 years and finally tried it. I wish I would have stopped sooner. A gem of a restaurant, with amazing food and great service. I am a sucker for breakfast so when I saw that they serve it until 230, I had to try. The Alaska Benedict was TO DIE FOR!! The Wasabi hollandaise was such a surprisingly delightful taste. The cucumbers and lemon added a flavor and crunch that I never knew I needed in my benedict. It also came with potatoes and brussel sprouts that blew me away. Seriously, you have to try it. I also ordered a Philly roll and it was the best I've had. The smoked salmon on the Benedict and the roll was so good. The breakfast menu looks fantastic, along with the regular menu. I absolutely will be returning, I need to make up for lost time!“
“Been going here for since I've lived in zion. Hands down the best Chinese food in town, and there's not a close 2nd. They are even nice enough to cater to my wife's allergies so she can also enjoy their food. Sne normally can't have takeout from any Chinese spot but she absolutely can from here. Will always give them my business based on that fact alone.“

“The food is always fresh. They’ll always get my order right. I’ve been coming here for 40 years! My adult kids live about 50 miles away but whenever they come to visit we ALWAYS get Ming Toy, nothing compares. My favorite is Chicken Hong Sue and the chicken is always perfect. My new son in law doesn’t have a Ming Toy favorite YET, so he tries a bunch of things, and EVERYTHING is great! Any friends who come back to Waukegan from out of town always stop for Ming Toy. It’s not easy running a business, but it’s so cool to see everyone here working together. The food is classic Chinese take out and it never misses. We love the house special fried rice, sweet and sour chicken, and steamed dumplings. We order that at least once a week.“

Same note as others that they do need to put a tad bit more effort into the hallway and restrooms; there’s a ton of food stacked in the hallway and the bathroom was not clean nor maintained at all. So, good food and a nice dining room with super attentive service; just avoid the hall and bathrooms.“

“They have a wide variety of food. The sushi was good for a buffet. They had a small assortment of sushi rolls both cooked and uncooked with a soup bar next to it. They have about four tables with a selection of rice and noodle dishes, meats, and seafood. I definitely recommend going. It was above average buffet food. They have delicious teriyaki noodles and a dessert table for the kiddos. We went on a Sunday and paid about $45.00 for two adults and a child under two years old. Overall a good experience. I took off one star because some of the dishes were luke warm, but again, it is a buffet so it's not gonna be perfect.Kid-friendliness: Noodles and desserts that were kid friendly. They offered a variety of juices for my child. They have pizza as well.“
“Jade was off it's game for a while. In the last yea (2023), the quality seems to have returned. My favorite from have is Kung Pao Chicken. The chicken is gristly on occasion and that turns me off enormously (The chicken is never grizzly at Yummy Bowl for instance), I believe the buyer can opt to pay for a better grade in most anything. Of love to have "gristle-free" chicken, their lo mein and sauces are excellent. I've gotten in the habit when ordering from Jade, specifying that 'I don't want any hard pieces or gristle in the chicken, can you do that?' They say of course and those seem to be the times when the chicken is at its best. Recommended again.“
“I love this food. I can’t describe what I felt when I tasted the fried rice. It was like I was getting a back massage in the sun while drinking a smoothie. I would go here everyday if I can.
