“I haven’t been to a Dennys in several years (and don’t have great memories) and I stopped in with my 3 toddler daughters for a quick breakfast between Saturday activities. Our server, Alejandra, was so so kind and patient with my girls, despite them being fairly demanding. Our service was fast, attentive and got everything we needed without hiccups. The food was much better than I remembered (objectively good) and came out quickly. The restaurant is quiet and clean, a great place to take kids-their kids menu is very flexible and they can accommodate odd toddler requests for chicken tenders paired with chocolate chip pancakes.“
“The food, service, and atmosphere were all fine. But prices have gotten out of control. $3.49 for a diet soda is too much at a restaurant such as Denny's. When two drinks made of colored water cost as much as a meal, it is simply too much. $2.49 would be still high, but on the high end of exceptable. The cheap silverware also needs replacement.“
“My favorite diner in Waukegan. In full honesty, I love the small hole-in-the-wall aesthetic. Some may find it cramped, but I think it's cozy. I love sitting at the bar, drinking the coffee, watching the cook do their thing. Menu is good. Staff is kind.“
“First time here with my hunny. It's a cute place! I love the 50's diner look ? I got some hot wings & my hunny got a gyro(?) He was a lil disappointed with the size, but I really liked my wings ? prices aren't bad either! Will def go back.“
“It's your typical Denny's, which always has great food and great service. Because their menus are consistent across all of their properties, you usually can't go wrong. Great relaxing atmosphere, the servers are friendly, and it's a relaxing place to eat. They have a lighter menu for 55 and over which is convenient.“
“Get family owned restaurant in North Chicago. 2nd time here both times great service & food! This time I ordered Steak Skillet with over easy eggs. Big portions. Great taste. Skillet definitely matches up with the "big name breakfasts spots" if not better.“
