Vegan Restaurants near North Chicago

“So, I stopped here after my post-op visit and ordered crab rangoon & orange chicken.
The crab rangoon is what I ate first, and as someone who has visited over three dozen american-chinese food selling restaurants in the Chicagoland area it is the best I have ever eaten. Really really spectacular. Incredibly tasty, strong flavors in both the filling & the sauce. Perfect amount of wrapping to filling. Will be coming here again when I'm in the area, just so I can get another set of them. I genuinely considered going back in and ordering another set when I finished the first but I had my orange chicken to eat so I sadly decided against it.

The orange chicken was next, and it was okay. I did enjoy it, but it came with onions (which I love) and bell peppers (which I hate) so I would've asked for it without the bell peppers if I'd known. Also the flavor wasn't as strong as I like, I prefer a strong orange flavor and a lot of sauce. This didn't have that, but it was the crispiest chicken I've ever had with orange chicken so that was definitely a bonus.
All in all, I'll definitely come back the next time I have an appointment here, mostly to get crab rangoon but I'll definitely be trying other things as well!“

“I ordered delivery for my son for his birthday. Although, they don’t have pasta I was able to get him some wings and a pizza. They gave me an estimated time frame but delivered before it. They also gave me a courtesy call before showing up. He said the food was delicious as well. Therefore, they get a five star from us ?“

“We were in Chicago for a visit from Texas and I decided I was really craving dumplings. I googled dumplings and Dangelas popped up. Reviews were amazing so we put it in the GPS and off we went. We arrived 30 minutes before closing but it didn’t matter. The best dumplings I’ve ever had. I wish I didn’t live so far away because I would be there at least once a week!“

“Wildberry Pancakes and Cafe has got to hands down be the best food I have had in my 32 years of life. We just got home from a girls trip for my daughter's golden birthday in Chicago this past weekend and I'm ready to hit the road to go back. She ordered the kids Oreo s'mores pancakes of the kid menu. I got the 2 eggs meal which came with 2 eggs, hash browns, choice of meat (got sausage links) and either toast or pancakes. I chose toast. We then ordered her 2 dippy eggs, a side of biscuits and gravy, and got a side of bacon to share. The biscuits and gravy are hands down top tier the best recipe I have ever tasted (I ended up ordering 2 more sides to take home so I would have breakfast tomorrow 🤤). Even after stuffing ourselves with this delicious food none of our group felt miserable in any way. there was no belly discomfort whatsoever. We just felt full and nourished. I will be coming back as often as I can. The food is so hot, so fresh, so flavorful, and overall it was a wonderful experience. Everybody was so friendly , smiley, and just warm personalities. There is quite a wait on Sundays (not sure about other days) but I would wait 4 hours if they told me I had to. They do have an option where you can get on the waiting list online (we did not know that since this was out first time). Now let's talk about their preserves they make in house 🫠🫠 they make a triple berry compote with blackberries, strawberries, and raspberries. It was literal heaven. They sell jars as you are leaving for $11. Guys you have to try this place. I'm not usually someone who leaves reviews but it's so good I can't not leave one. If you want the best brunch food you have ever had in your life I can promise you you WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED. Until next time wildberry keep doing what you guys do!“

“First time at Kuma's Sushi Bowl yesterday...1) Wife went there for lunch. 2) I stole some of the wife's bowl. 3) We both went back to grab two bowls for dinner, partly to pay her back for her lunch. “How crazy is this. Going to Sunset Foods I saw this sign in the window of a storefront to the West. Fortunately I found BRIGHT BOWLS owned and operated by a Highland Parker named Lindsay. I can’t describe the ambiance and wonderful products. You need to experience on your own. My favorite so far is the LoveABowl. Enjoy on site or to go. “The place was very hyped up and I had a very memorable experience here! I came with my family on a Tuesday and there was a big bingo game where you could get free drinks, we won almost every round and even won the blackout where we won 50 dollars!! “We dined at Froggy’s on Valentine’s Day, and had a wonderful time! This was our first time ever here, even though Froggys has been here for over 40 years! The interior is warm and inviting and we were welcomed in and seated promptly. Our server Peter was terrific all night, personable, knowledgeable and attentive. The food was truly a delight! We had Beef Wellington and Chicken Cordon Blue. Both were delicious and our overall experience was really great. We highly recommend this place and we will be back!“

“Tried this restaurant because we happened to be in the area. We ordered the spicy teriyaki and spicy tofu bowl. Both bowls were awesome! Tasted great. We also got the Tum yum sauce which was a nice addition. The bowls were actually not spicy but they gave us hot sauce and bottle of teriyaki sauce. We also ordered the spicy edamame which tasted great. The side of noodles turned out to be very plain noodles so we added some teriyaki and tum yum sauce to it. The regular bowl had enough portion for more than 1 person to eat it. Overall highly recommended!“

“This place was great. Easy parking (during a wee day), friendly and patient staff, excellent Ube muffin. (I ate so fast I didn’t take a picture). I got a Malibu smoothie. It was ok, seemed like there was a good bit of ice in it. I also got a Skinny Genes juice. It was WONDERFUL!!! Huge cans of 100% juice in flavors we can't get elsewhere like passion fruit & watermelon. Generous portions, casual atmosphere. Appreciate the padding on the chairs. It's a relaxing place to eat.
