“It was actually a bad day for McDonald's. I'll bet it took 30 minutes to get through drive through. It was the longest wait ive ever experienced. When i reached the first window i was met by a polite young man out of uniform in a white t-shirt. I asked him how many of you are working tonight. He replied 3. He wasn't even supposed to be working but was good enough to pitch in when his team needed him. So when i made it to the window to collect my food i made sure to let the young lady know that they were doing a great job. Under pressure these three young employees pulled it together and showed maturity and a proper work ethic. Honestly i hope they leave McDonald's soon and find their rightful place in the bigger world. They will be leaders if given the opportunity. And by the way we all know McDonald's food is yuck. But today these three stood out. So thats why i wrote a 5 star review for them today.The rest of your employees must be bed wetters. Couldn't go to work today. Get rid of them.“

“The coffee is incredible. They roast their own and offer flavors unlike any others I've seen in the area. They usually have vegan-friendly pastries and whatever milk will suit your fancy for a drink. The main sitting area is very chic and cozy. There are spots outside as well as a little nook inside if you need a quieter area to sit. As for the service, i absolutely love these people. They're so friendly and welcoming, and don't just flat out ignore you if you aren't ordering like some cafes do. It's in a beautiful historic building that always gives me inspiration whenever i go there to get work done.“

“When "Walgreens" pops up as one of the few options for coffee on Google maps, you can't help but lower your expectations. But omg Zion just went ahead and raised them right back up. This place is sick. Massive windows, lots of plants, a patio, a loft, couches, and a roaster right inside the store. This Scandinavian styled coffee shop is the stuff of legends, easily putting the rest of Peoria's coffee shops to shame. The baristas were energetic, knowledgeable, and fly as hell; the drinks were equally amazing. I got a chai latte, which looked so pretty I could barely drink it, and tasted so good I could barely stop to take a picture. Def check this place out“

“We had chips and Pico for an appetizer.My wife had the Bistro salad and I had the Cajun Pasta. We both had chicken breast added for protein to our meals. All the dishes were delicious. We had 3 Margaritas on the rocks total and we drank water with the meal. Tip, drinks and meal were right at 100 dollars.“

“I have wanted for so long to make it to this place. My intention was only to get stuff from the bakery, but since the restaurant was open I decided to have breakfast too. It was amazing! The food was amazing, atmosphere was amazing. Even the little details (like the small vases with real flowers) were just perfect. I Will definitely go back again. “Food like someone's favorite family member made it like... good good????☕ . Had the skillet with cheese. The onions potatoes? and green pepper were well seasoned and the cheese? was American melted ?? side of a short stack?. My manfriend had a bacon ?and cheese? omelet. He loved the bacon? was whole folded with the cheese? into the omelet, crispy enough to easily cut into but not too dry. Hot sauce? on the eggs? and a half order of biscuits and gravy, which was better than I make. That breakfast anywhere else would have been $35- $45 but this place was an amazing value ? Staff is funny and friendly. Regulars make the atmosphere great!“

“I love Riley's Vegan Sweet and Eats. Definitely preorder your bday cake months in advance because she books out. We have always had a good experience. I especially love that Riley is starting to make vegan holiday themed goodie baskets. As a vegan mom, it makes holidays so much easier. Today I picked up a couple Easter baskets and pastel colored donuts. Yumm“

“Every time I go here I’m super happy with it! Nice baristas, interesting drinks- I got a white chocolate iced espresso with salted caramel cold foam. Super strong and super good!!! The inside seems really cute too lots of little nooks and comfy couches and the food looks really good and surprisingly substantial for a coffee shop.“

“Indian is my favorite cuisine, and I say with no hesitation, Bollywood Bites is the best I’ve ever had. I wish I had taken photos of the entrees, but once they came out we were too busy diving in to think about taking our phones out! We started our meal with #9: Gabbar Gobi 65 Dry, which is a fried cauliflower appetizers that my party of three agreed could have been an entree. The flavors were phenomenal and you’d have a hard time telling that it’s a vegetable (yes, that good!). For entrees we went with #31: Bollywood Biryani (which is a screaming deal at $14), #52: Rangeela Lamb Rogan Josh (the blend of spices is sophisticated and elegant), and #63: Hariyali Chicken (we did our best to break the chicken down to small bites so we could savor it for as long as possible).I’ve lived in Peoria for almost two years now and can’t believe that I’m just now becoming a patron of Bollywood Bites. I will be back, with every friend and family member I can gather.“

“Small town vibe, locals support ! Loved this place. We sat in the front window area but seating stretches all the way to the back with several different options. Genuine people, solid tuna/ chicken salad croissant sandwiches. Coffee is solid, Dagon Mocha was a treat! I so appreciated the kindness I received upon my last visit while waiting for the courthouse to open. It's only a 2 min walk from there. Will be back again!Kid-friendliness: My son was so excited to see that there was candy inside the human sized M&Ms. What a treat!“

The coffee comes from the family farm in Columbia, and they use the farm as a place to offer employment and training to a population and demographic that might otherwise be overlooked.Over the last 3 weeks I’ve visited 3-4 times and the quality is consistent with each visit.Home made and/or locally sourced pastries are available (and delicious).The owner Marta is inspiring, friendly, and makes incredible drinks. Her staff, as well.Parking: The lot is not huge, but even with 8-10 people inside parking is no problem. There is a lot of street parking.Wheelchair accessibility: The ground level is very spacious.“

“I have been purchasing coffee from LNB for about 6 years now, maybe longer! Shannon is always so wonderful to work with at the Peoria Heights location. He always remembers me and is such a wonderful person. I can tell he enjoys his job and he always excels in delivering amazing customer service! I guess I am a coffee snob because no other coffee beans will do! Oh! And your Morton location also has given me the same kind of customer service! The lunch sandwiches are wonderful! “Great tasting donuts with actual frosting and not the watered-down runny kind at Dunkin. Prices are comparable, and they have a better selection. Haven't tried a drink yet, but they have a nice variety to choose from.Dietary restrictions: My daughter has a nut allergy, and this is the first donut shop in our area that accommodates!!“

“Being in the area, I decided to stop at Starbucks again: it's a very nice coffee shop, offering all kinds of various hot and cold drinks, and food. Since the weather's been pretty hot, I ordered Grande Strawberry Acai Lemonade, that was made fast, plus I got two pastries, packed to go. The subtotal was $6.95 plus two taxes of 1% and 11% on the packaged food and drink respectively, so the total came to $7.51. The service was very hospitable, cheerful and friendly. The shop now advertises and offers various season specials -- coffees, hot and cold drinks, merchandise, as well as season discounts. Getting ready for Halloween brightens up the ambiance, largely created by info boards in orange colors, as well as all kinds of fall flowers and pumpkins around the coffee shop. I enjoyed my cold, tasty lemonade very much, pastries were excellent too -- Many Thanks & Muchas Gracias!“

“This is the best Starbucks in the Peoria metro area! The staff is always kind and courteous. Even when they are very busy they never seem put out when I ask about my order. They do an excellent job of keeping the drive thru moving and the Nitro Cold Brew is always COLD and ON POINT. Keep up the good work!“

“We were visiting out of town and stopped here for some bubble tea. The ladies greeted us as soon as we walked in and were very nice. We got an oreo and coffee slush. They were delicious I wish they came in a bigger size lol. I would definitely recommend this place.“

“Best coffee shop in Pekin hands down. Always tasty and clean. I haven't had their food or blended drinks so I can't speak to those, but their espresso, Chai, and cold brew are all fantastic.My 4 year old is also obsessed with their blueberry muffins.“

“I love our new Starbucks! It just smells sooo good in there... looks cool too. My favorite thing is how they will customize your drink absolutely any way you want it. Only complaint is the ridiculous prices. I guess I just must be cheap because they sure do pull in the customers lol.“
