“It was actually a bad day for McDonald's. I'll bet it took 30 minutes to get through drive through. It was the longest wait ive ever experienced. When i reached the first window i was met by a polite young man out of uniform in a white t-shirt. I asked him how many of you are working tonight. He replied 3. He wasn't even supposed to be working but was good enough to pitch in when his team needed him. So when i made it to the window to collect my food i made sure to let the young lady know that they were doing a great job. Under pressure these three young employees pulled it together and showed maturity and a proper work ethic. Honestly i hope they leave McDonald's soon and find their rightful place in the bigger world. They will be leaders if given the opportunity. And by the way we all know McDonald's food is yuck. But today these three stood out. So thats why i wrote a 5 star review for them today.The rest of your employees must be bed wetters. Couldn't go to work today. Get rid of them.“

“Had grilled catfish and shrimp jook box. Owner may balk at grilling the catfish cuz it can fall apart on the grill, but insist on it. It was out of this world. Seasoning was Cajun style but not blackened, just great bit of heat. Shrimp cooked just right, rice excellent too. Really enjoyed it.Hard to find though, winter entrance is back corner of building facing both Walmart and Landmark, 4 glass doors labelled "Premier Event Center."“

“Place is crowed all the timeParking: The double driveup takes up most of parking lot. Parking spots made for cars not trucks. Customers will walk right behind you if you are backing up and act like it's your fault. Even if you were already in motion so drive slow“

“On a hot Saturday evening after being outside all day... my wife and I stopped for ice cream and the service we received from the three young ladies working was simply outstanding! Living in davenport is a ways away, but we lost my truck keys and my wife called to check and see if they got left by accident... The greeting we got was outstanding, she double checked with Carrie and assured us they were not there.....We found them btw. Thank you every one“

“Higher quality fast food than the usual suspects. Clean. Condiments and drinks/covers weren't sticky. Very well organized. A drink had spilled into the condiments bin, but considering that it was just after dinner rush, that is understandable. I was disappointed to find that my double butter burgers had transformed into a double butter burger with cheese. Or more likely cheese-based foodstuffs. Dreadful.The staff were very courteous and friendly.Restroom was clean. This Culver's has done away with paper towels except for one motion-activated towel dispenser by the faucets. No paper towel debris all over the sink and the floor. And the restroom door has one of those step-and-pull-with-the-sole-of-your-shoe things affixed to its base. Much less likely to contaminate your just-washed hands in order to open the door.In general I like Culver's and this was one of the nicest I visited in years.The atmosphere? It's screaming, racing around, hyperactive kids purportedly being supervised by adults. But seriously? Ancient grandmas and teenagers who could care less about their charges' behavior. I don't really blame them. But it's why I get my orders to go.Verdict? I still love me some Culver's.“

“I was very pleasantly surprised that they are once again serving their homemade root beer in super frosty mugs along with inside dinning. I ordered a super duper frosted root beer float with a two piece fish dinner. Way more than I should have ordered to tell the truth. The float was very impressive, but most impressive was the young lady behind the counter. She had a super personalble personality and that's putting it mildly. She was a go getter and knew her stuff and it was evidently. Never had such a fantastic float and dinning experience in a fast food restaurant. I must say that all of the employees seemed to like the jobs they were doing and it was evident.“

I was the only one in line very early in the morning and the woman was SO nice, asked me about where I was going (had a cargo container on the car) and gave me a brownie for my ride. “Taco johns has become my default Mexican restaurant. They've got some pretty great deals, and their burritos are sublime. Every item I've tried has been fantastic. I've tried most of the menu at this point, I would say the burritos are the main things driving me back in. But the tacos are alright, if a little boring.Taco John, if you had something like the taco bell Doritos tacos you would probably get me in even more. More flavor options for the tacos would be great.Everything about Taco Johns is starchy, but that just makes it much better after a night of drinking with friends.Be the envy of your friends and order for an NFL game, or DnD night, doesn't matter. It can be Taco Tuesday any day.“

“I been eating here for years like when they use to be in Pekin to now east Peoria!I can say I definitely miss the guy who worked there 5 years ago ? it was quite sad to see him leave. Me and my GMA would come here once a week and omg did he load us up on some good food!!!!! Well well worth the price and tip!Now the guy who usually serves us. He's pretty decent he's nice and makes sure we always have everything. But the down fall is we barely get any food. The Italian beef has no meat and sadly they forget my au jus. And the gyros are always on point but again lack of sauce and meat! I can fold it into a burrito it's so small. And we spend so much money here! I'm talking like 50-70$ every single time we go. It's not the price that bugs us it's good food it's just the portions.I love this place. Just do better on the serving size that's all!“

“The staff at this Culver's was superb. We were there on a Sunday night an hour before they closed. We were a fairly large group of about 17 people. They were friendly and respectful. Even kept the ice cream machine up and going until just a few minutes before closing so the kids could all get their ice cream. I've never had a reason to complain about Culver's food and this was no exception. Hot fresh and correct. It is great that with all those orders they got everything exactly like we ordered it. Thanks to the employees for caring enough about your job to pay attention. Great place. Don't judge all Culver's the same. This one is outstanding.“

“Being raised in Mesa AZ, this place is so literally refreshing. The steak and chicken tacos will literally cleanse your pallet with just onion, cilantro, and a bit of cheese. Very important that the meat is fine and crispy and both the chicken and the steak is every time. Get the kids a cheese quesadilla which is very thick and filling and there’s no reason to go anywhere else nearby. Lots of various candies for the kids too.“

“It was very good and allergy friendly meal (gluten free). I think $14.99 for a chicken sandwich combo meal is a bit pricey so I don't eat it often but I really enjoy it when I do.Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free buns available“

“Food was good. Service was great. Wish there were more options. There was no side of pancakes offered to order. The skillet I wanted to try was specifically worded "served as is" but I wanted to tweak it a little. Enjoyed overall.“

“Some really really good Dawgs! Staff is friendly and lots of different food to chose from. They also have desert. Plus you can get your own refills. Great place to grab some good food and they have a drive thru, plus a really cool dine in area with lots of old signs, history and pictures. Give them a try you’ll like it.“

“Decor seemed a bit outdated, but that's minor. Service was good and fast, which I've found it's hard to find both anymore. The curly fries were a bit over done, but I was still able to manage chewing even with my dentures. They still had the orange cream shake, which made my day as it's out for the year back home.“

“5 stars cause you're one of the few restaurants left. It's good food and i live LJS. They're short staffed I'm assuming because you'll be waiting about 15-20 minutes in the drive thru. But it's worth the wait. Although last time they snuck a piece of fish into my husband's chicken meal and he was definitely not happy. I mean, it's not that hard to tell their chicken from the fish. You can tell by looking at it but the fish smell snacks you in the face first so it's obvious. Still gonna keep going cause it's the only one around. They've only messed up once so that's not an issue for me. As busy as they always are, I'm impressed that it's only been messed up once. Good job LJS! I'll be back soon.“

“While I did arrive in the drive-thru with only 8 minutes left before the restaurant closed, they took my order and made it for me with a smile. The food was hot, fresh, and delicious, as it usually is! I appreciate when I come across employees that are in a service industry, and yet they still smile, are friendly, and seem to be happy to be at work. It's refreshing these days too see that unfortunately. Thanks, Taco John's!“

“We had burgers, fries and milkshakes. The meals were pretty pricey for a fast food place, but that seems to be more of the norm. The food was decent. The burgers were pretty greasy and kind of just slapped together. There was nothing that made it different than any other chain burger in my opinion. The service was good. If it gets busy, the seating becomes pretty crowded.“

“I have tried Chinese food at many of the local restaurants and have found this family run restaurant the best! They have a great variety and equally great prices esp. their lunch and dinner specials. Some favorites are the Hunan Chicken, General Tsao, and the egg rolls! They have an online ordering ap that works great! Not much room to eat in so I use for take out which is perfect for now.“

“Great selection of fresh cooked food. In the deli section you can find good food for lunch or dinner. Fried fish and chicken. Chicken gizzards are good. Nice selection of sides including mac n cheeses, greens, and French fries among other things. Great selection and the prices weren't that bad. I would take this over McDonald's any day. Not to mention great customer service.“

“The team there at Hardee's in Bartonville really did a fantastic job! Our food was hot and fresh and the folks working there tonight were so friendly and fantastic! THANK YOU!!! Give those people a raise because we will def keep coming back!!“

“This is a good location. You can't see them well from the main road and they are surrounded on 3 sides by corn. The service was pretty good but the prices were a little higher than comparable fast food chains. They don't have dollar menu items like most of them. They have a larger menu than most fast food places including corn dogs and tater tots.“

“Great service with a smile. Don't hesitate to joke around with these guys and girls! They were really nice and fun. I had a Ceasar salad and water with a Chocolate cake shake. I'm trying to be healthy, but here I can't resist the shake! Wendy had the italian beef and cheese fries. For all our food it was $33. Worth the money for the music, atmosphere, and over all great experience in the heart of the midwest.“

“Friendly and freaky fast! ----- ----- July, 2022 Visit Our daughter discovered the band Greta Van Fleet early summer, 2022, and quickly found that they would be playing in Peoria, IL, and she recommended a road trip. We had a great time, thanks in part to Jimmy John's. Hunger arrived and we looked right and saw the sign, turned, parked and went in and ordered. The server (great apologies I forget your name... sorry) was friendly and helpful with our order. 10 minutes later we were fed and smiling and on our way. Thank you, Jimmy John's! ----- ----- -----“

“I had a pretty big order. The delivery was lightning fast! Delivery driver was super sweet. Food was hot and tasty. I ordered icing with my dessert and I believe it fell out of the box it was in. I called and he offered to deliver my icing! YAY! I didn't have to eat dry cinnamon sticks. Way to go Pizza Hut! Keep it up!“

“Amazing service! I go to this location at about 1am most days to grab lunch. Everyone is nothing but smiles all the time! The manager is amazing as well! Everyone makes sure they wave and give me the biggest smiles every single time I visit this location! As a manager myself, you can tell when a manager is doing every single thing to keep his or her crew happy and this is one of the places where it’s top notch management with top notch employees who love to serve you and do anything to make it right!Parking: 30 to 40 parking spots“

“I HAD TO EDIT MY REVIEW. Here is the original: Covid 19 or not, customer service is still required. Everytime i call the hours change and there is no bone-in chicken. The last time I called 12-11-2020 person answered phone, i asked to order, he mumbled hold or no. I waited and the phone eventually hung up. I called back twice and it rang until automated answer pickes up. I guess we will never know if they have good krispy krunchy chicken.FINALLY WAS ABLE TO ORDER AFTER A MONTH OF WAITING. DEFINITELY WORTH THE WAIT! GREAT CHICKEN WITH GREAT FLAVOR. WAFFLE FRIES MAC N CHEESE AND JAMBALAYA ARE BOMB ALSO. AND THOSE BISCUIT ARE AMAZING. “Good, affordable food, quick and friendly service, and an impressive menu. I've tried a good chunk of that menu and can vouch for everything so far. The Wonderdogs themselves are great, but they serve a number of other sandwiches and whatnot as well. I'm addicted to the philly and the polish, personally. As an outsider to the area, it took no time for me to see why Wonderdog is regarded as a local institution.“

“Went here on my way to Chillicothe. My daughter ordered a 5 piece chicken strip meal! Yes we waited about maybe 10 mins BUT her food was fresh and everyone working were friendly! Had to go inside to use restroom and the entire building including behind the counter food area was clean! Very impressed“

“The people that have waited on us had way better attitude than the one closest to our houses. There was plenty of meat & the vegetables looked way better though it is hard to tell with vegetables until you cut into them. That was the problem at the one closest to us very little meat, no bread, or the vegetables were terrible.“
