“This is a great neighborhood pub! We've come here for all the different meals and have not been disappointed. As they have expanded their menu it has only gotten better. Highlights are the pies, gin drinks, and the matcha latte. It's an unexpected fun spot for breakfast on weekdays too. If we lived even closer we would be here all the time. The ambiance is a traditional British pub which we love!“

“I go here 2-3 times a week to sing, drink and mingle with every customer. Everyone talks to you and the staff is the greatest line up anywhere. They love their customers and they like to have fun, as I have seen them dance to karaoke or just being silly with each other. The front deck is amazing and I can't wait for the fun meals once the kitchen is finished. I used to make this a once a year place, but now it is a must stop everytime if out for drinks. “This was my first time at Clancy's on 95th. It was clean and comfortable. The ladies behind the counter were delightful and easy going. A friend invited me to join her and a handful of her friends, to watch Billy Gray perform (he was fabulous with his deep voice. I listen to country music every once and awhile, but Billy had me moving my feet and tapping the table top to the music.)and we had a wonderful time. The beers were reasonably priced ($4 or $16 for a bucket of five. They give you wooden tokens to collect a cold beer when you are ready or the bucket if you prefer. My friend ordered a ham and cheese sandwich that was delicious and came with fries or in-house made potato chips. I would definitely go back.“

“The food was delicious, and the portions were large. You definitely get your money's worth. We had the lenten special creamed herring appetizer, and it was outstanding. The potato pancakes are more like a pancake; do not expect the Latke style of shredded potato with onion. They are served with both sour cream and apple sauce. The Sauerbraten has a non-traditional white gravy that tastes good but is definitely different from what I am used to. They have a very good selection of draft beers as well as a good selection of beers in bottles and cans. The Chicken Paprikash had very good flavor and richness to the gravy. The Goulash is tender, decadent, and has a little heat to it. The service can be slow, so it is not a place for a rushed meal. The restaurant area is clean and has a great ambiance. The restrooms are separated, with the men's bathroom being by the front of the restaurant area and the women's being towards the back. The men's room is a little cramped, but that is a necessity for space.Parking: Paid parking on the main street out front with free parking on the side streets in the nearby residential area.Wheelchair accessibility: Not wheelchair friendly“

“Pleasantly surprised by this place located on Bryn Mawr between Kedzie and Kimball. The initial impression was that the prices on the menu seemed a bit high given its location. And some dishes like hummus plate, which consisted of cut up carrots and cucumber with pita bread and a large spoonful of hummus, was not worthwhile at $14. Same goes for a bowl of Irish cabbage soup for $10. Having said, other items like chicken wings and burgers were quite delicious and were worth paying little more for them. Given their great beer selection and wonderful cocktails, it is worth a visit.“

“Awesome neighborhood bar in Roscoe! My wife and daughter wanted to visit a bookstore, so my son and I visited here just two doors down. It was pretty busy for 3 pm, but we got a hi top table and placed our orders right away. We had a couple of Old Styles, and I tried the Krombacher pilsner. It was the beer of the month and very good. My wife and daughter joined us about an hour later and had a couple of drinks. This seemed to be a less expensive bar than most we visited in Chicago. That's always a good thing! Service was outstanding! I can't get over these beautiful Chicago bars. Long and narrow. Awesome architecture. Perfect setup here at Village Tap! Will definitely try and make it back here on our next visit to Chicago.“

“Really cool bar. The best that Western has to offer. Inside is nice. They expanded and now have two party rooms. The real draw is the beer garden outside. It’s huge and has lush vegetation surrounding a ton of tables. The bartenders could work a little faster. The manager looks like the guy from The Hills Have Eyes but he’s really nice. “I had to get five stars because they’re the only restaurant that carries pure olive oil, even though there’s an Italian restaurant a half a block away. Disgusting. Most of the restaurants in Hinsdale used disgusting ingredients and then charge you as much as they possibly can ‼️‼️‼️?The only restaurant in town that actually has pure olive oil! “Went here twice during our week-long holiday in Chicago, both on a weeknight for a relaxed drink while listening to a DJ play some great chilled tunes, and on a Saturday night when it was busy but we found seats and had a fun time. Both were good experiences, with nice staff and good drinks. We really like neighbourhood bars so this was perfect, and in a lovely area too. It was the nicest bar we visited on our trip, and we will hopefully be back one day!“

The presentation, the taste…impeccable. We had the hummus and garlic parm wings…they did not disappoint. I like that they have TouchTunes (jukebox) which allows you to play your favorite song without passing a aux cord. it’s a chill vibe. You can carry food in, or they have frozen pizzas from a nearby place called Waterworks. I have had Waterworks pizza and it is an excellent thin crust pizza, but never tried their take-and-bake variety.“

“This is a nice restaurant. Little out dated on the decor and the windows are very drafty during the winter time, air pours in them so you don't want to sit next to them if you want to stay warm. “The best time in Chicago! DJ sabado was spinning & we met all our friends here, the vibe was intimate and the space was set up perfectly. The ambiance was classy, with plants and foliage and lots of wood finish everywhere. We got there around 1030 & had no issues getting tables which are first come first serve, but the music had us mostly standing and dancing anyway! It did get full though near 12.I had the Milagro (margarita) and it was incredible. 3 was all i needed for the entire night to keep the vibe going, they weren't too sweet or too strong, just right. The music kept changing and gave a little bit of everything which was exactly what the crowd wanted. Hip hop, reggaeton & Latin trap, r&b etc. & People weren't afraid to dance, strangers were hyping each other up, the whole place even danced together when well-known songs came on.The bathrooms were relatively clean (for a bar) and the lines for them never got too long. We didn't have to wait outside in the cold to get in and finding street parking wasn't mission impossible. And to top it all off, it's right next door to a Taco Bell to feed your munchies when you leave after a night of drinking Love this place, will be back 1000%We had the most amazing time“
