“I would go here again and again. Food quality is excellent. What can I say about NICK the manager. Outstanding manager. He listens to customer. Make sure we leave place very happy. If you complain about food, he will replace immediately without any questions asked. He makes sure that all the customers are very happy. We order a corn soup, my wife thought it was not spiced up enough. She asked waiter to spiced up. Manager came and told her that this is the way it comes and cannot spice up. He replaced her with another type of soup and did not even charge us for that. Great place to go for diner with family and friends.“

“We were searching for a restaurant nearby and came across Wah! Taj. The reviews were really good so, decided to try it and I am glad we did. The kiddo got the combo bowl with daal n rice and chicken 65 and we got chicken biryani and the fish fry …. Everything was just so fresh and delicious and just felt like a good homemade meal. We also got Gajjar ka halwa for dessert and were just impressed with the quality of the food and the warmth and friendliness of the host. We will definitely be back for more 😀“

“Took my date here from dinner as she recommended, and was pleased as punch that it was as good as she advertised! Service was lightning quick, atmosphere was very relaxing and welcoming, and the food was divine. It was my first time having Indian cuisine, and it did not disappoint one bit! I had the Butter Chicken and my date had the Cheese Dosa. Both came out hot and appetizing, and the Butter Chicken tasted amazing. 10/10, would absolutely eat here almost every day if I could.

The best way to describe our meal is “elevated comfort food!” Everything we ordered, came out beautifully plated, very quick service, even with a full house, and very attentive staff. We ordered the spiced carrots, naan, brisket, and pork belly. All of them were delicious, and my favorite by far was the pork belly, perfectly seared and paired with an excellent sauce. The berry spritzer cocktail was refreshing and not too sweet, dessert was just right, overall fantastic experience. We will definitely come back!“

“This place won our hearts during our 4th July long weekend visit to Chicago this year. We were 3 days in Chicago and for all those days, this was our spot for lunch.

The ambience was nice, place was clean & beautiful and the food was just DIVINE! From everything we tried, our favorite dishes were Paneer Lollipop, Malai Kofta, Chicken Chettinad, Benne Dosa, Malabar Parotta, and of course, filter coffee. Must must must visit this place while in Chicago.“

“We visited this Indian vegan restaurant in Chicago and were surprised to find what seems to be the only fully Indian vegan spot in the city, especially one that focuses on very clean ingredients. The owner, Kirthi, was friendly and happy to answer questions about the menu and how they prepare the food.
We ordered the basket with nine types of fritters, and it was extremely tasty-every item in the basket was fresh and flavorful. My favorite was Dalvada. We also tried the naan and the sweet potato kofta curry, which were both delicious. The curry included vegan cheese (likely nutritional yeast with B12), and while we enjoyed it, people trying vegan cheese for the first time might find the smell a bit unusual at first. Mango Lassi was too good with coconut yogurt. No other restaurants have this option. We also took the mango cake for to-go and it was amazing.
Another thing we appreciated is that they do not reuse the oil for frying, which really fits with their clean-ingredient philosophy. For some reason, this restaurant does not show up easily on Google, even though it’s the only fully Indian vegan restaurant in Chicago, so it’s definitely a hidden restaurant worth seeking out for vegans who love Indian food. We would absolutely visit again.“

“I think I found my new favorite place! I ordered the lunch special and was blown away with the quality and the amount of food offered. You’re able to pick 3 entrees, 2 sides, and comes with 2 veggie samosas, garnishes, and a simple syrup donut dessert. The food arrived piping hot and the chicken samosa was tender and great flavor. Chana masala and dal are also excellent and not overcooked. Highly recommend!“

My favorite are tender chunks of goat curry and of course desserts like kheer, mango ice cream and gulab.The server/manager is hard working ,helpful, paying attention to all customers. “I had a bad experience this time. I have been here several times and love their food but this time I ordered frontier chicken fried rice along with few other items and the fried rice was bad. It smelled and taste as if something in it was spoiled. I returned it immediately. The other items were good as usual.
I didn't get any apology or anything either from the server or the management except that they didn't charge me for the returned item.“
