“We came from Minneapolis to Chicago and it was one of the first places we went to eat, because it was close. But everyone was super friendly and the service was good.

The rice and beans are more or less, but the rest is delicious. Especially the huaraches. So like the name, I recommend the huaraches!!“

“The flavors were great in general. However, the salsa was essentially tomato sauce and a big disappointment. The guacamole needed some garlic or green onion or salt. The only other problem was the salad had very little (if any) dressing. The tacos and the special quesadillas were great. Service was good. Overall, good enough that we will be back.“

“Last week I was on my way to take my son for a haircut and decided to stop and eat here. It was my first time. Service was great and food delicious. I was not having a good day but tried my best to not show it. As I'm eating I saw a man come in. Eat by himself and then left. My surprise when I went to go pay. This man had paid for my food. Who ever it was Thank you so much if this is ever read. That was a beautiful gesture and completely made my day. I got my son his haircut and took him for some ice cream afterwards. “Food was very good. I ended up with chilaquiles (with chicken breast) and my friend got the pupusas and dobladas. Really solid, and I appreciate the subtle differences in flavors between the Guatamalan dishes and standard Mexican fare. However, only 4/5 because ordering (in English) was difficult. I tried to get grilled skirt steak and a green chicken enchilada (as a single item, listed that way on the menu) but what was originally brought out was 3 green chicken enchiladas. I explained the issue and thought it was clear but ended up getting brought the chilaquiles. My friend got his pupusas but the dobladas was not brought and had to be ordered again. The food was delicious and I'm not a picky eater so this wasn't a huge deal, but others that need to order a specific thing, in English, may have trouble. I will be back though, and I will brush up on my Spanish.“

Vegetarian options: Their vegetarian options actually have vegetables in them and aren't just an afterthought. I appreciate that they have vegan steak they can sub in to their non-veg options as well.“

I was concerned that to only got 2 tacos because I'm used to 3 at other places but they were so filled.....I couldn't even eat it all!🤭 So yes, please go here! I didn't even mind that I had to place my own order on the kiosk. It was really easy & simple! Oh, the only downside is that the chairs are hard but I blame my hamstring for that! So if you have probs, bring a cushion. Oh and please try the churro shakes! Better than mcD!“

“Great dinner tonight. Mexican Indian Fusion. The seasoned chips were served hot and Salsas were flavorful. Portions were plentiful and the prices were family friendly. You can choose 3 different street tacos with rice and beans for $15! The staff was very attentive as we were outside dining. And the waiter left us a pitcher of water for the table. It was most appreciated. We definitely will return.“

“Man, I've been going to this spot for years. The service is awesome. The food always comes out hot and fresh. The prices are reasonable. I would recommend the chimichanga (steak or chicken), pork burrito, and the tamales they sell are not bad.

If you ever have a hangover or need to get a late night dinner, this would be a go-to.“
