“Had some brews at our favorite spot, Sketchbook Brewery in Skokie, and decided to order some tacos from here through Uber Eats. Noticed a few BOGO deals for Elotes as well as their Chicken Tinga. Ordered those as well as a few Steak Tacos (white onion and cilantro) and some tasty salsas (red and green). Steak was not super salty like most spots. Chicken Tinga was some of the juiciest I have had yet not super oily or drippy. Elotes were good and a bit different with what seemed like black pepper as a nice kick. Did not realize this place was a food truck/stand at a park. May check out the actual spot some time.“

“I ordered delivery and the ingredients were perfect. Food was perfect, taste was perfect, service was perfect, could use some more chicken but other than that everything was amazing. Chicken was tender and freshly cooked, bowl was decent size. Just the perfect bowl. Loved it . This chipotle has become my favorite place as of now.“

“I loved to food here, I found the place one TikTok I personally do recommend the food especially the shrimp burrito, ts was bomb ngl it was so good especially with the salsas that they have complimented it so well, I also recommend the tripa tacos I loved them and they didn’t over cook it nor undercooked it, overall the service was good and the staff was every kind, if you go here be ready to be mind blown with the food, I do say you have to go here with time because the food is freshly made.“

“We went to Zentli on a Sunday evening. The ambience was welcoming and the waitstaff friendly and helpful. We ordered vegan food which was fresh, delicious and filling. My husband thought the Zentli Salad was excellent. We both had tacos (Nopales, zetas and verduras). We shared the vegan dessert, plantains with a vegan caramel cream sauce, which was quite tasty. We will return , perhaps for a weekend brunch.“

This is an ideal brunch destination as I think they have the best breakfast burrito in town. Perfectly packed, holds together well, and the queso dip on the side compliments it so well.

It looks small from the outside, but it’s enormous in flavor! It’s a very cute and nicely decorated place. Staff is incredibly nice and helpful. But the food… it rocks! We ordered the Orden de Quesobirria and a Carne en su Jugo and a Agua de Jamaica (hibiscus water) and a Horchata (rice water). The Carne stew was delicious! So many levels of flavors. “Needed to kill time while my girlfriend's car was being worked on...we saw this place and decided to stop for breakfast.
This is one of those moments where wonder happens when you least expect it!
The diner counter style seating let's you watch all the action. The, obviously, fresh ingredients that were being piled upon my giant tortilla were becoming a Mt Everest size stack and made me wonder if the chef could possibly wrap it up into a breakfast burrito.
She did...and it was amazing!
I could only eat one half.
Air was enormous whilst only carrying an 11.00 USD price tag.
Absolutely outrageous!

I wholeheartedly recommend Santa Masa!

“I’ve been coming here for a very long time and I’ve got to say, I never get tired of the food. Once you walk in, you get this nice quaint and cozy atmosphere and a nice aroma of that Mexican cuisine. You can’t go wrong with the agua frescas because they are out of this world and always taste homemade. The horchata is unlike any I’ve ever tasted (in a good way) and each sip from the agua de maracuya made from passion fruit is a genuinely splendid. I got the Torta and lemme tell you, it was one of the best tortas I’ve ever bitten, the carne is nice and juicy while also seared to perfection, and along with the freshly picked ingredients. I also got the Nacho fries which were very nice and dedicate (but make sure to eat with a fork). The service is always nice and very welcoming. This restaurant checks off all the boxes and it’s surprising that it has not earned a Michelin star, yet. Onions & Cilantro is one of the best Mexican Restaurante in not only buck town but in all of Chicago itself.“

“Tried the lengua, birria, and chicken tacos. They come with traditional cilantro and onion, finely minced.
The chicken taco was ordered with lettuce and cheese added and my son thought it had very little flavor and added their house sauce to help, which is WARM♡. The other 2 tacos had guac added. The lengua was very fatty. The birria was AMAZEBALLS :D I added the guac and hot house sauce to it and it was perfecto♡
They are all stuffed and it is a great, quick, traditional taco for the price of about 5-7 bucks each.“

“Pollo Express has become my new obsession. I’m there 2-3 per week. I love the Chicken Burrito and the mixed Burrito— Burritos have Jalapeño in them FYI— which can be optional, if you let them know. The burrito I get the Charro beans and the Mexican rice. The Flautas are delicious— consider adding refried beans on top. I love the chicken with a side of rice and beans, as well. Their desserts are tasty too. The staff is super friendly and eager to explain things, and they love being part of the neighborhood. I love that Smokey salsa they have too. I put it on everything!“

It can be pricey to some, but worth it and they do different deals on different nights so it’s worth checking them out. If this venue was in the #Pilsen area, you would def need a month or two reservations. The chef is #Michelin rated – say no more. Highly recommended. Communication was top-notch, portions were huge, and the food was incredible. Guests couldn’t stop talking about the juicy chicken and steak, the homemade chips and salsas, and guacamole that could honestly be eaten by the spoonful. “Food was beautiful, got the 3 taco dinner, steak was nice and soft, the al pastor was super flavorful. Their sauces are to die for, everything here is made fresh. Another Chicago gem to visit if you are around the area. Only bad thing I could ever say is that in the winter months, it gets super cold in there cause of the door constantly opening and closing, so this place might need another door to enter through, so you wouldnt feel all the cold winter air, but thats about it 😊 love this small mexican joint with flavorful food.“
