“Over 20 years ago I started eating at their original Lincoln Park location. Today, their delicious food keeps me coming back time after time. It helps that the restaurant is staffed by the nicest people in the world. When I call for pickup they know my order (lad nar with chicken and Japanese gyoza) and they have it ready in ten minutes. Ten minutes!“

Ordered rangoon, pot stickers, fried rice, chicken fried rice bowl (with specific vegetables only) side of noodles, extra side of fried rice and was all cooked great!! “Ive been here before for the sushi and yakisoba and enjoyed it. This time I got the teriyaki beef half veg half rice bowl but wouldn’t really recommend. It came with 3 pieces of vegetables. The beef was a bit chewy with a piece or two of gristle, and it was kinda drowned in teriyaki sauce. Most everything else i had from here was good, just wasnt as big a fan of this.“

“one lower level than top japanese american cuisine. BUT better than most out there. I don’t mean that in a bad way. I would definitely still come here and explore other dishes they have and definitely order these again. My spiciness tolerance isn’t great (I think hot cheetos are spicy) With that being said the spicy miso and spicy beef were spicy like hot cheetos level to me. but so delicious! This Thai tea, one of the best I have had! Not too sweet! I like the music they played as well.“

This my first time dining at King Pho. My friends have been here before and recommended for us to meet up here.

We ordered Phở Tái, Bún Tôm Nướng, Spring Rolls and Crab Rangoon. It was plenty for 3 people and took some home. They also have a huge menu with Smoothies and Bubble Tea. I looking forward to trying the teas and other menu items“

“This new breakfast spot in Evanston was a hit! They seem to be inspired by the soft scrambled egg sandwiches popular in East Asia, and they delivered on mine. I got the steak and egg with a hashbrown on the side. You can’t really tell from the pictures, but the sandwich was ginormous. Get ready for a messy meal because eggs and other ingredients are going to be finding their way outside of the soft yet crisp, buttery buns. The scrambled eggs were a nice consistency, and they loaded the sandwich with beef and other toppings. The hashbrown was crispy, and I put it in my sandwich, which added a nice crunch. If you want a quick and easy breakfast sandwich or bowl, Eggs with Benefits will leave you satisfied!“

We ordered Scallop deluxe roll, Spicy crab crunch special, Salmon special roll, and Volcano deluxe roll. We definitely will be coming back! The owners were so sweet and welcoming. “Really good place! I was expecting generic Chinese but I was pleasantly surprised. I asked the owner if the egg foo young was made with real eggs, or eggs from a carton. He was kind of shocked at the notion he would use eggs from a carton and assured me it was made with fresh eggs and freshly-made vegetables, like he would not be caught dead doing it any other way. That gave me a good feeling about the place - he clearly had pride in what he does. We had a vegetarian and a celiac in the party and he was very understanding and respectful of their needs. We are picky eaters but were all very happy with our meals, which were really good. Big portions too!“

“My wife and I had an incredible experience at Bluefish Bistro. We ordered sushi and everything was absolutely amazing — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The seaweed salad deserves a special mention because it was hands down the best I’ve ever had. Perfectly seasoned and incredibly fresh.

“Our order was ready 10 minutes early so we were glad we came early. There was one table of diners in a relatively nondescript dining room but lots of carry out orders. Our egg rolls were tasty but without the traditional Chinese fried outside. These were pretty greasy but had more meat than vegetables which was a pleasant surprise. They came only with a Chile sweet sauce and it added to the taste. Our potstickers were just ok and had a slightly gooey exterior. \nOur main courses included Mongolian beef which was much higher quality beef than most places offer. Nice flavor and sauce. Our noodle dish with chicken was also flavorful as were the moo shu chicken ingredients. \nPrices were on the high side but the portions were generous and the quality deserved it. The value was great and we would return.“
