“So I go inside to get a chance to stretch my legs and pick up my online order that had been placed 5 minutes prior. I'm inside and show the CSR my mobile order confirmation. She looks like a deer lost in the headlights. She runs to the rear and drops a order of onion rings in the grease. A few minutes later I have my order in the bag and in my hand and walking out the door. I resume my driving only a mile away only to discover the onion rings are half cooked. I was too far away to return. I hope the establishment will take better precautions, what if this was a beef burger, or a chicken breast, etc. Accuracy is far better than efficiency.“

“Honestly one of the best airport fast food experiences I’ve ever had. Prices were okay, menu is large, everything is made to order, staff were friendly and seemed to be having a good time. Short line, food was ready about 10 min after I ordered at the kiosk. Kiosk allows for customization. As I was leaving one of the workers asked if I wanted a free order of onion rings since they made some that didn’t get picked up. So rings, dog, and drink for about $15? Hard to get that kind of deal at the airport!“

“I've driven by the place for a year and kept thinking I should drop in. Finally stopped for a slice last month, and went back to try their smash burger just recently.

Love the place. They have excellent food and a kicky little interior, but I loved chatting with the owner as he made my food. One of the owners, at least. Anyway, curious to try their other offerings, and happy to meet a local small business owner and find them to be just good people. To me, that has more impact than the menu. But the menu is worth the trip, all the same!

I know the owner reads these reviews, so I say thank you for your excellent efforts. It's not a small thing to feed strangers food made with care and love, and it matters to some of us when we see it. Nothing but the best to you, my friend.“

“Saw this place plenty of times on social media and finally gave it a try today. Ordered the Philly cheesesteak combo with fries and a drink; also got a 6 piece buffalo wings. Ended up getting 2 of their homemade ranches, which have this great dill flavor. Everything was absolutely delicious especially because it’s all cooked in beef tallow. The cheesesteak had a generous portion of steak and cheese on it, all served on this fresh seeded bread that had a delicious garlic bread taste. The buffalo wings were great too. Everything was cooked fresh but the star was that dill ranch. I put it on everything and it just amplified the flavors. Definitely going to be visiting again, highly recommended.“

Lynn was very friendly and shared some interesting ghost stories and the story about the 1961 plane crash in the cornfield. The food, service, and atmosphere were all great. Sadly, things have drastically changed for the worse. ​We noticed the staff began turning over constantly, and after speaking with some of the remaining employees, we found out why: the owner is reportedly keeping 40% of the servers' tips. Under Illinois law, tips belong entirely to the staff, and an owner taking a cut is entirely illegal. ​It breaks our heart to walk away from a place we loved, but our group has decided to take our business to other local spots that actually respect and support their employees. We won't be back until management corrects this and treats their staff fairly.“
