“October Cafe is by far the best coffee shop around Chicagoland…. If you have not tried it you are missing out. The coffee flights change and always come with a wonderful theme. The owners are friendly wonderful strong women who show so much compassion for the community. I am blessed to have found this cafe, as a place that is relaxing and cozy and feels like home. The baristas ring a bell and announce your flight and bring you your meal and drinks if you dine in. So wonderful! “Deserves more than 5 stars! WONDERFUL experience each time I come here. Everything made from scratch. Not just pierogi ---Gelato, soups, empanadas, tamales, pizza pie (takes 50 mins to make from scratch and worth it!!) Premium Belgium chocolates, shakes, Coffee and most recent.....160 (yes one hundred and sixty) different premium teas from around the world!!.....and more to come! They also own the tea room and book store next to the cafe. Owners are THE BEST! Welcoming, personable and humorous. Dinning outside available and pups are welcome! Can’t begin to say enough good things about this place…not gas station food, custom fresh made to your liking off their full menu. Doughnuts were great, flapjacks were outstanding. Great variety of coffee products - regular, cold brew, lattes etc. The staff were warm and friendly, making you feel at home and explaining the menu to you. “I usually order a matcha iced latte with banana syrup. The woman with the pink hair makes my drinks and she’s very friendly. Today, there was a new face and I overheard that he’s worked there for months. What threw me off was how he kept wiping his nose and running his hands through his hair while taking orders, then making drinks and serving food. My coffee tasted warm (I ordered a banana iced latte with cf). So I ordered a matcha to make up for it, but the drink itself was overly sweet and way too milky compared to the past drinks I’ve ordered. Maybe it was just a bad day, but overall it’s been decent.“

But for real, everything I have had from them from savory to sweet has been absolutely fantastic, and I am not easy to please when it comes to baked goods. “Brewpoint is a gem in the Western suburbs of Chicago. I am entirely blessed to live blocks from their craft location on York. Exposed brick, chandeliers, and a plant wall surrounds you - a grateful reprieve from cookie cutter Starbucks decor. Coffee, matcha, and baked goods are top notch (haven't tried cocktails or charcuterie yet). A wonderful mix of professionals, college students, community organizers, and socially conscious suburban moms escaping the kids (I'm sure I'm missing wonderful others). Sometimes I'm not sure how I manage to keep living in the suburbs when the city is still home for me after 10 years in Elmhurst, but Brewpoint certainly makes it easier.“

“We had a wonderful experience at Cafe 44! We tried the iced latte, matcha latte, cappuccino, Americano, and the Dubai chocolate, and every single item was outstanding. The coffee was rich, fresh, and perfectly crafted, while the matcha was smooth and flavorful. The Dubai chocolate was absolutely delicious and the perfect sweet treat to go with our drinks.
