“OMG WOW! Amazing bakery! I go to tons of bakeries & I think this is the best one in Oak Park & one of the best in Chicagoland! I LOVED everything I tried from the cookies, to muffins to scones. Super high quality & extremely fresh products. Some of the pastries were still warm from the oven as I got there right at 8 am when they open. Even then, there was a little line out the door. Many people got coffee drinks but I didn’t this time. They also have $2 wonky cookies (just weirdly shaped cookies) that are a great deal. I tried: chocolate chip cookie, banana bread, vegan chocolate muffin (extra delish), goat cheese chili scone (excellent) & the wonky birthday cookie (amazing & buttery - melts in your mouth). Can’t wait to go back & try other things! Please note the place is tiny with only a few tables & chairs & there’s metered street parking so I took my order to go.

10.25.24 update: the kale salad done is truly amazing! The toasted coconut cake was sooo good and the chiffon cake was delightful. The savory corn biscuit was good but I preferred the scone, which is totally worth traveling for.“

“The food here is excellent! The flavors are unique, and the portions are large. They always bring a demitasse of soup right when you are seated which is delicious. The service is excellent... the wait staff, bartenders and bus boys were attentive, quick and knowledgeable. Everything I've ever had here is great. But it is not inexpensive! One of our favorite dishes is the cauliflower... but it is $24! My friend ordered the octopus, which was perfectly cooked and came with crispy chickpeas and potatoes. So good! I ordered the tostadas de pescado, which was also delicious. Although pricey... I will definitely be back.“

“I’m so happy to have found an awesome bagel shop not far from home! We ordered The Obvious and Sweet & Tart and both were absolutely delicious. The sandwiches were packed with cream cheese and toppings. I also wasn’t expecting the coffee to be so amazing! I ordered a 16 oz. iced caramel latte and it was perfectly sweet and strong. We will be making Daly Bagel part of our weekend routine! Plan on getting your food to-go, though, because there is limited seating (especially on weekends) and it’s pretty toasty in there.“

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal of risotto, lobster ravioli, burrata stuffed ravioli, pasta with prosciutto and peas, and 3 desserts (chocolate cake, limoncello cake, and lemon sorbet). “Pablo, our waiter, was exceptional. During our first visit here, he warmly welcomed us and showcased impressive knowledge of the menu, even extending to items not listed. He encouraged us to customize our meal to our liking, and he certainly delivered! For starters, we chose the grilled calamari and Rockefeller oysters. The calamari was tender and impeccably cooked, steering clear of the typical rubbery texture. Opting for balsamic instead of oil was a perfect choice. The oysters were superb, not overwhelmed with cheese. I ordered the veal picatta from the menu, expecting a thin slab, but was pleasantly surprised by the generous portion size. The angel hair pasta complemented the dish well, although I could have done without the mushrooms – a personal preference, which I should've mentioned. Nonetheless, if you're a mushroom enthusiast, they give you plenty. My boyfriend ordered off-menu, enjoying the Zuppe di Pesce with shrimp, clams, extra calamari, and rigatoni Diablo style in red sauce. It was absolutely amazing and satisfied his taste without being overly spicy. To accompany the meal, I had a glass of the house Chardonnay, which was light and buttery. Even my boyfriend, who doesn't typically drink wine, enjoyed it. Our heartfelt thanks to Pablo and the owner/chef Giovanni for an outstanding dining experience, both in terms of the meal and the service.“

“Huge fan. As Americanized Thai places go this is tops. When I order spicy, I get it. I enjoy their take on salmon nicoise, with a beautiful dressing. The curries are very good. I would like to know if there is a hidden menu where unamericanized Thai exists.

“I finally decided to try Taco 76 and I have to say, totally worth it!! The restaurant looks great, super clean and very good service! I ordered a steak burrito and totally enjoyed it. By way of comparison, I give the edge to Cactus Grill in Forest Park as I find their food absolutely delicious and authentic, but YES this place is really good! The Cactus Grill specialty burrito is the best I’ve ever had! It’s a mix of carne asada, Al pastor and Chorizo made to order!!!“

“This place serves ramen incredibly fast, and the service is always great. The food is absolutely delicious. I’ve already been here five times, which is unusual for me—I normally don’t visit the same restaurant more than once or twice. But here, I want to try everything on the menu!
I’ve already tried every type of ramen they offer, and I can honestly recommend them all - they’re all full of flavor. I also really appreciate their private seating areas with curtains that give you a bit of space and privacy from other guests.
