“This restaurant is a must go to! You get plenty of FRESH seafood for your money & we had lots of leftovers that just hit the spot through the week. Ebony was our server She was great. You must request her. She thoroughly explained the menu and the best options. we started off with hot hush puppies that I haven’t had since I lived in Texas!! Try the voodoo juice alongside your meal. Don’t forget to errythaangg house sauce!! Find date night or meet up with the girls OKAAYYY ? ?“

“Absolutely fantastic first time experience at D’Capos! I ordered the meatball sub and the owner gave me a free sample, of course it was excellent. The owner also took time to chat with me about the business and even gave me a free to go meal, eggplant parm. Couldn’t recommend this establishment more, incredible food and the owner is so kind and welcoming. 10/10!“

“Our server Anna was perfect. The ahi tuna salad that I ordered had a generous amount of tuna and very wonderful avocado slices, along with lots of other ingredients. The three people with me loved their choices also, especially the Neat burger with an egg on it. We shared carrot cake with caramel and a lot of nuts and the huge piece was more than enough for three over-eaters. This is place to pop into for a casual, delicious meal.“

“Delicious food! Especially nice on a cold day. I appreciated that there was even a vegetarian item on the menu (a huge potato pancake with mushroom gravy), which was delicious. We also shared some sauerkraut & mushroom and potato & cheese pierogies, which were also great. Also great was the mulled wine. They serve a lovely sourdough bread with an interesting spiced spread, but heads up to vegetarians -- the spread is bacon-based. But again, excellent bread. (As you can see, deliciousness was the theme.) The exterior of the restaurant is a little unassuming but the interior is like a cheerful cabin. Would definitely recommend.Vegetarian options: Babcia's pancake, which is a potato pancake with mushroom gravy, served with 3 types of cold salad. There are also meatless pierogies: sauerkraut & mushroom and potato & cheese (ask to be served without bacon garnish). There are also some salads on the menu which are vegetarian. I don't believe any of these dishes are vegan, though at least one of the salads could probably be made vegan if the cheese was left off.“

Rose was a phenomenal server and had our food out quick even on a Friday night!Parking: Parking right out front is hard, but there’s a free garage less than 5 minutes walking from the restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: All thresholds are easily navigated with a wheelchair. “This place is really nice and chill. Plenty of options on tap & even a few non alcoholic beers too! I met a friend there for free trivia! We had a blast. The bartender was sociable and checked on us multiple times. It's nice to not have to track down a server or bartender. Ask for Taylor if you visit and you'll have the best experience.“

“First time trying this place and I would go back again. I ordered the seasoned fries. They were very crispy and tasty. The seasoning was a bit different. I ordered the spicy garlic shrimp sandwich with extra shrimp. Absolutely delicious. It was not spicy but well seasoned. The arugula on the sandwich was a nice e compliment to the overall taste profile.“

“Discovered this place while biking to catch the BNSF back to Chicago. Usually would bike past to hop on the train at Western Springs or LaGrange Road. But one day I stopped short and popped in here. Really impressed by the selection of beer, wine, and whiskey. Before the Derby, they had three different bottles of Blanton's Bourbon. I asked for a smell (it's not Jimmy John's, I know) and they obliged me without so much as a blink of the eye. Quite an impressive wine selection. They are serious about their libations and happy to share their knowledge. I really like this place. Good vibe and great drinks. Check it out. Not sure why some clown gave it two stars. But reading that review, it's the poster who is confused, not the establishment. Cheers!“

“This place is truly a hidden gem. We were recommended to check this spot out by a local bartender, and we are so glad we did! The ambiance was really chill and non pretentious. Our mixologist, David, was super personable and well versed in his craft. He’s bringing experience from cocktail programs in the city to the burbs! It was a cute little spot that gave speakeasy vibes. We initially thought we were underdressed, but this place wasn’t booshie at all, and there was no judgement like some places. The cocktails were creative and well balanced. I’m so glad we have a place like this nearby. We will definitely be back soon!Update:We just went back because of our previous experience. I brought a group of 10 (all industry people). We spent over 1k as a group for my friend’s 40th bday. I raved about this place only to feel unwelcome in the end. A young female bartender tells us we were too loud. Honestly, we obviously had a lot to drink, but nobody was being reckless. We were told people were complaining. From a business standpoint you made us feel unwelcome in an establishment where we spent money. Take the $60 2 top who complained over what we spent there tonight? At least pull one of us aside instead of making a grand announcement. Chad you’re a great and talented owner, but train your staff how to talk to people. Just tell us, dont make a scene.“

“Loved the service and food. It is a very small cozy location, although I was told they will be moving across the street and expanding their seating. The staff was fantastic, I was there with my wife and baby and they were all very friendly. We will definitely be back.“

“Located in the Rose Hotel, same proximity as Dave and Buster’s and Trulucks. If the parking is full, just park in the huge parking lot across the street by Dave and Buster’s. When you walk into the hotel, the Thorn restaurant is to your right. The vibe is semi classy and intimate. It can also be a casual place to hang out, eat, and watch tv. Service was fantastic, they really take care of you over here. Prices are reasonable given the atmosphere. I had shrimp tacos, hemp hummus, and the Westcoast smasher burger. Pro tip: when you check in on Yelp, you get the hemp hummus for free. It was big enough to share with two other people.-shrimp tacos 5 - these are good sized tacos. Easily shareable. The shrimp pieces were fresh and juicy. Shells were soft. Avocado pieces were large chunks. The corn tortilla chips were crunchy and did not break easily.-hemp hummus 5 - fresh ingredients and warm naan. Very light appetizer.-Westcoast smasher 5 - ordered it medium and it came out perfect. It’s a very clean burger. Your hands don’t get oily or greasy. Meat practically melts in every bite. Special sauce amplifies the flavor. French fries were crispy and they’re on the thinner side. Well seasoned.“

“We hosted our baby shower at church street, and it was amazing. Everyone loved the atmosphere. We worked with Jace before, during, and after the event. The food was amazing, I did not receive a single complaint from my very picky family members, they all agreed it was amazing. The guest enjoyed the beer and we even did a growler with a beer of choice as one of diapers raffle gifts and it was the most popular one! I am so happy we hosted our event here, it went so smooth and hassle free. I will definitely be hosting events again here in the future!“

We recently moved to the area and will be making this one of our frequent spots because of her amazing service. Get this girl a raise, her level of hospitality was unreal.“

“The food was amazing !! I wanted a quick bite after work and ran into this little spot. I got one of each empanada that they had. The chicken one was Devine!! For a small place the food is very tasty and worth the trip. They were also very friendly and patient with my indecisiveness which I greatly appreciated.“

“* I went to the Winery. I did not stay in the B&B.This Winery was so nice. Asthetically beautiful. Bar or lounge seating so you can pick the scene you prefer. They had sweet wine, too, which some places don't even offer. Me and my friends also tried a chocolate truffle which was yummy. I tasted them all and they were very good. It is very tempting to start a membership. However, when it was time for me to go, I still had 3 out of 6 tastings I paid for that I asked to redeem at a later date. I didn't want to have too much to drink given that I had a 40-minute drive, and I had to get going, which I let the woman at the front desk know. She said I could not redeem my tasting at a later date. I asked if I could have some refund, would have taken half or less than half, but I was told they don't do that either. It's a pretty small place, so I was surprised they didn't accommodate what I thought was a small and fair request. They haven't lost any money or wine, but I have. If you can't drink 9oz of wine like myself without getting sleepy or tipsy, I recommend bringing a friend and splitting the tasting. Other than that, my experience was nice, but left me with that sour taste.“

“I work around the corner from here and found it by chance. I will say I will be back. I called to find out where they were located and Cindy explained exactly how to find her place. My coworker and I went to go check out the restaurant and Cindy and a gentleman greeted us as we walked in. Even asked if we had just called. This to me is how you treat your customers. As my coworker and I waited for our breakfast burritos the smell of the restaurant was amazing. Cindy also chatted the whole time we waited and explained how she preps and what all goes into their fresh food. Cindy is caring and very passionate about her food and customer service. Please make sure to go find Cindy and chicks’n salsa. They are located in the office building on the corner of main st and 22nd in Lombard. Keep up the good work Cindy.“

“Local Brewery with super friendly vibes. Tasty beers with wide selection of styles. Brown, Red, Hazy, Westy, etc.. Buckle has some good food options or bring your own. Mixed drinks available too. No pets, no smoking. Atmosphere is dark, relaxing and cozy. Beer fridge has cans to go, or fill your growler. Pacman and Mando pinball game. Merch is pretty nice too. Clean bathrooms and small outdoor area. Joe was a gracious host and very informative about the tasty beers. Park across street if full. Great service made it 5 stars.“

“Found out about this brewery in Westmont and came to try a few beers. It's in a pretty hard to find location in some industrial area, the worst thing about it. Whiskey Hill is a funny name, as this place has beer, not whiskey. Oh well, what they have is still good. There's a pretty good selection including some hoppy and sours. A lot of breweries are in kind of strange areas. It's the case with this one. This is located on Vandustrial in a building it share with some offices and whatever. Lots of trucking companies around here. There's semis parked along the street. Anyway, the beers. It's about $6 a pour. It's not quite a pint but whatever. Even so, a pretty good price for a small brewery. Has many to choose from. Best was the 7 Mile Bridge. It's a Belgian Weisse with key lime, toasted coconut, and vanilla. A lot of lime flavor. This is almost like a sour to be honest. A pretty strong one at 7% ABV. There's not a whole lot on tap, but they manage to have quite a bit for a microbrewery to be honest. Get some beers on tap or take some of the cans to go. It's a small place but when it's warmer they have a patio. There's no food but sometimes there's food trucks.“

Our first time trying the joint after seeing several great reviews, we couldn’t have been more pleased with our experience. The pizza lived up to the hype: Understatement. Thin, crispy, and delicious. The old fashioned was smoky and sweet; shockingly good for a brewery. My wife had a sour and I had a light beer as well. Great all around. We will be frequenting this establishment for the foreseeable future. Did I mention price range was incredibly reasonable? 5 stars: Understatement as well. “Always easy-going bartenders with lots of local craft beers on tap, plus a good selection of bottle and cans. Ciders and NA beers as well. Bartenders will give you a taster before you buy a 5 or 12 oz pour. Customers friendly too, sit right at the bar or outside at tables under umbrellas and strike up a conversation. Board games are available inside. Seen beer drinking parents bring their little kids sometimes. You can bring your well-mannered dog inside too.“

“Great local brewery! Staff is fantastic! Beer is varied and flavorful! Only downside is a tendency for very loud and unruly young children on busier days, but I can understand how that is a fine line to walk. Most parents do a good job, but the ones that don’t ruin it for everyone. Absolutely worth checking out, but you may have to be the one to explain how children should behave in an alcohol serving establishment, to entitled parents of young children. Again not the brewery’s fault, but I wish they could find a way to be a bit more proactive in curbing poor parental behavior. Still 5 stars! Still worth the trip. Best member club for the money. Love this place!PS. Beer education is second to none, for the area. Worth the optimist membership for that alone!“

“Stella's is a DANG GOOD restaurant. While it is located inside of Fox Bowl, this is NOT a bowling alley snack bar. Their pizza is FANTASTIC, as are the mac'n cheese bites, and cheesy beef sandwiches. “I've been dining here and holding family parties here for 20+ years. the interior and patio are beautiful. the food is excellent and the prices are competitive. But the service is exemplary. We had a drink in the bar before dinner and the bartender was terrific. we booked a table on the patio and as we were being seated my elderly mother asked if we could sit inside and they immediately and happily accommodated our last minute change. our waitress was wonderful and patient with the two senior citizens dining with us. I cannot say enough great things about Jens. it is our go to for every family celebration and many dinners in between.“

“I cannot believe that no reviews or comments have been made about this business! They have great servers/bartenders! They have beanbag tournaments during nice weather months. Their food is outstanding! I had one of THE BEST corned beef sandwich on St Patrick's Day I've ever had! They have video gambling, which is fine if that's your thing. Outdoor bar is nice during warmer weather! Parking is enough for their size. It's unique inside with authentic plane parts, including helicopter landing gear for the bars kick plate. Jimmy the owner is very friendly and will buy you a drink/shot when he's there and his son, Chase, is a fabulous cook! Conveniently located minutes from O'Hare airport!“
