“It was a little after 9:00pm on a Saturday, when I spotted this J & J Restaurant. I went inside to place my order and was immediately impressed by its cleanliness. The floor, tables/seats, counters and the food preparation area...all very clean.The young woman that took my order was friendly and courteous. There was only one person ahead of me, however, some people had phoned in their orders, so there was a waiting period. I didn't mind because the time went so quickly. Also, unlike other J & J's, this one has a drive-thru.I ordered 3 dinners to go; a small jack salmon, a small ocean perch and a 6 pc. chicken wing dinner. Extras included an order of fried okra, hush puppies and a corn on the cob (a full size ear). Each dinner included:French fries, a very small cup of coleslaw and 2 slices of white bread in addition to the mild and hot sauce they provide.The fish was fried to perfection, light and crispy, not greasy. The chicken was also fried to perfection, crispy and not hard or greasy. All the side dishes were well prepared. Since none of us eats coleslaw or white bread, I can't speak about them.As for being different, in addition to its drive-thru, this J & J offers a variety of foods that I've never seen offered in any of the others; tacos, spaghetti, and a selection of salads, just to name a few.“

This last order was terrible.We ordered the beef fried rice with lemon pepper wings. They forgot to give us the wings. They weren't busy. We called, they said come on back and we will give you 12 wings (instead of the 8 which come with your order) to make up for our mistake. When we went back, they gave us the usual 8 wings, not the 12 they offered. So they made another mistake correcting their mistake.I'm done. We can no longer order their wings with barbecue sauce because even the MILD sauce is much too hot for us. When we asked them to hold the sauce, they said they cannot because their supplier puts the sauce on the wings, they don't do their own sauce. So we started ordering the lemon pepper wings instead. The Greek salad is our go-to, always fresh and large for some leftovers the next day! Gyros are fresh and always willing to add some extra yummy sauce.
