“Our family has always loved everything we've had from Photos, excellent quality, sooo tasty, and their menu is HUGE! I recently had my gallbladder removed, so I have been on a restricted diet for the past 4 months, and really struggle finding food I can eat at restaurants...until I discovered the chicken pita from Photos! It's an excellent low fat option, (2 for 1 on Sundays), and still tastes like you are eating a cheat meal! “The Dog Walk is a quick serve restaurant tucked inside a strip center at the south west corner of Milwaukee Avenue (Rt. 45) and Palatine (Willow) Road. I have been there quite often years ago, but surprised my spouse with a visit last weekend.

The food was just as delicious as I remember it and the owners, who are new, stuck to the old recipes that were wonderful.

I had a Gyro Burger (Gyro and a hamburger served on a toasted bun)and the spouse had a Gyro and they were excellent. The menu is perfect.

There is minimal seating so you will most likely take your meal home or enjoy it in your car, but it is well worth it. Interesting note that sales tax in Prospect Heights is 9.5%, which is substantially better than all neighboring suburbs!“

“We recently moved to the neighborhood and noticed Hubby's after leaving the Farmers Market a few weeks ago. My husband noticed they advertised catering on their building, so we thought we should reach out for our kiddos 1st Birthday Party. They DID NOT disappoint! Marcie responded to emails promptly. She was very accommodating with adding extra food last minute (86 guests), and their hot dog cart was such a nice touch for our baseball themed party. Our guests loved the hot dogs and mini Italian beef sandwiches! We were even able to accommodate our vegan guests with hot dogs too! We cannot wait to check out their spot in person and try other menu items as well! Thank you SO much for making our littles first birthday extra special!“

“We are Costco members from past 11 years and really love our Costco store. Costco carries huge selection of fresh fruits at reasonable prices. We always love our fresh fruits from here. In addition to it, Costco have always come to our rescue when it comes to renovations including buying flooring, outdoor lights, furniture. And their customer service is TOP NOTCH. We never think twice buying from Costco knowing the fact Costco got us covered.“

“It's been over two weeks since my family and I visited The Polish American Bistro. It would be remiss of me not to leave a wonderful review of this lovely restaurant! Ania and Darek, the owners, are the nicest and most hospitable people ever! Since I have family in Poland, it was fun to talk to them about their homeland. Now about their food . . . it's completely amazing! I ordered galumpki (ground beef and rice wrapped in cabbage). The tomato sauce on top was so delicious, it spun circles around the sauce my grandma used to make (sorry, Grandma!)! My husband ate a breaded pork cutlet with mashed potatoes. SO tasty! And my daughter opted for a cheeseburger that looked and tasted so great that we even returned the next day to order another cheeseburger to go! Our entrees were accompanied by a side of two types of salad - one made of marinated red cabbage, and the other was their super delectable authentic Polish sour cream, cucumbers and dill. As you can tell, our dinner itself was a 5-star experience. Last but not least, I must discuss their DESSERTS! When you walk into Ania and Darek's restaurant, your eyes will immediately be drawn to their multi-tier display of desserts. Unfortunately, since our stomachs were full after our delicious dinner, we couldn't even think of dessert. However, take-home was still an option! So I asked Ania to escort me to the dessert case and tell me about her sweet treats. It turns out she owns a bakery in another suburb, and all the desserts are made on location at the bakery FROM SCRATCH! So we took a few home (see photo), ate them the next evening, and they did not disappoint! I loved them all, especially the vanilla custard inside the eclair and fruit tart! The chocolately hazelnut dessert was a Kinder Bueno torte. I want to go back and try more of these amazing treats! We've had to call in literally the last 5 times we've been there telling them they missed something, charged us for things we didn't get, or because we were given other people's orders. Clean it up Portillo's. It's not that hard serving hot dogs.“

The deep dish was just about alright, I would have expected it to be a little more crispy and deep. All in all, it was just about average. I have had better deep dish pizza in Chicago.“

“I wanted to immerse myself in the Chicago food scene and Gold Coast Dogs was my first choice. I got the Polish Chicago style. The only condiment I omitted was the tomatoes. As for the rest gave a great bite with a proper snap of the dog. A bit messy, but I'd order again for sure. Next time in the Chicago/O'Hare Airport I'll be back! Yum!“
