“From the moment we stepped into this incredible Arab restaurant, we were welcomed with the kind of warmth and hospitality that made us feel like family. The atmosphere was inviting and beautifully decorated, but it was the service—and especially the owner—that truly made this experience unforgettable. The food was absolutely phenomenal. What truly set this restaurant apart, though, was the hospitality. The owner personally came over to greet us and made sure my entire family was comfortable and well taken care of. It’s rare to find someone who treats guests with such heartfelt attention. This was a memorable experience. I can’t recommend this place enough if you’re looking for not just incredible food, but also to be treated with the kind of warmth and generosity that leaves a lasting impression. We will absolutely be returning“

“We just hosted our 50th high school reunion the other evening John and his staff could not have been more accommodating to us. They cheerfully answered every question, made certain everything was perfect and served us delicious food. I honestly think this place is an absolute gem. “My husband and I can't say enough good things about Marie's Catering. From the very beginning, Amanda was very helpful in answering our questions, being responsive, and working with us to create a menu that we wanted. We were astonished by how much food was provided at our tasting, all super yummy, and so we eagerly booked them for our reception. We opted for family style so each guest could enjoy all the dishes, and boy are we glad we did! We had DOZENS of guests come up to us that night, and since, RAVING about every dish. Everything being so delicious and cooked perfectly was even more impressive when you consider they served over 100 people. The servers were great and very attentive and even boxed up my husband and my leftovers, which was such a treat we were not expecting. I honestly don't think you could find better quality food, bar package, and service for the price. Highly recommend!“

“We ordered dishes for Thanksgiving and they were nothing short of amazing! I was delighted to serve my guests the Msakhan. baked spinach pies and fried cheese pies as appetizers. For the main course Shaima prepared a delicious turkey with mashed potatoes and mixed grill, which was an absolute delight! The desserts were also incredible, with just the right amount of sweetness. Shaima is an extremely talented gourmet cook and I would highly recommend using Alrayes catering for your next event!

“Big Joe has catered 2 events at St Laurence high school for our football program! The food has been amazing! The pork and brisket are absolutely perfect. And I could not get enough of the smashed potatoes! I can’t wait for the next event! Thanks for a great meal!!“

“We used Big Mama's for our corporate event, and everything was amazing. The food was delicious and arrived on time. Will defiantly use Big Mama's again for our events.“
“We have been lucky to attend this hall on multiple occasions from a production company standpoint. The hall is not the best for sound reinforcement as you will need a separate rig pointed to where the main entrance is to ensure you will have even coverage for all patrons. However, it is a minor detail that with the right professional shouldn't be a problem. The catering was very good and the space looked very nice. Would recommend to anyone in the area looking for a nice event space.“

“When I worked in downtown alonti was one of my favorite restaurant I use to go to. The food was always great sandwiches, pasta. Soups, salads. The only thing that disappointing that they have no more restaurants to eat at and they only have catering and so I tried to place a order for myself and family I was asked what com. I said no com she said only com. I was not a happy camper with this info. Open restaurant again!!!!“

“It's a shame that there are so few of these delis left in the area; there used to be three or four along a couple of miles of Archer down here (including Bobak's), but I guess the demographics no longer supports them. It was a joy to find this place by accident.We go to this tiny place mainly for the beet borscht, bigos (to DIE for!), and pierogis. I smiled when I noticed they actually have wooden barrels of kapusta and pickled cukes wedged into a rear corner.They have all different kinds of fresh pierogi and, for such a small space, a pretty good sausage/meat selection. I know very little about East European sausage names, but it would probably be wise to call ahead if you are looking for a certain kind.“
“We had our son's first birthday here and cannot say enough good things about Gilhooleys. The manager Jim was incredibly helpful and easy to work with. The staff the day of was amazing and friendly. The food (we did the brunch option) was so delicious. We got so many compliments about the food and the space from our guests. It was our first time hosting a party so we were nervous, but Gilhooleys made everything easy for us. We are so grateful for such a wonderful time!“

“I had the BEST experience with Honey's Chicken! I had to place a large order for catfish fillets for my wedding, and the owner actually came out to assist me with the order. He and his staff were very nice and accommodating. Not only were they nice, but the fish was AMAZING! I had to scramble to make sure my husband and I had fish. I'm truly grateful for the service. You guys are a blessing. Much success to you.“

“I ordered for pickup. The place inside was clean. I had the chile relleno taco, it was good just thought it would be a whole chile like “el milagro”. Guacamole was delish and my husband said his asada tacos were great too! Told him it has a drive thru and he said “found our new spot!”“
