“Bar and liquor store combo with a great atmosphere, friendly staff, and a great selection of whiskey and beer.

We had our rehearsal dinner there, and it was exactly what we wanted. Very much our style. Saved us a bunch of money doing it there vs our other options. And the nice thing was that we were able to cater whatever food we wanted there.

We also got the spirits for our wedding through them. They had the best prices from everything we vetted, and we were able to return all the unopened bottles that were leftover after the event.

My only issue is the up charge for cheese and onions and if you want no beans in the Chili. Other than that, two thumbs up 👍

“First timers here! Let’s just say that was absolutely delicious! We ordered a deep dish with everything and the kitchen sink on it, bbq honey wings , salad, garlic cheese bread and cannolis - definitely a must come back to!

My only complaint as we did order it to go is I wish they had put utensils in the bag and an extra ranch dressing (seeing as the salad is pretty decent in size).“

The gentleman who took my original inquiry was pleasant, helpful and explained everything in detail. The night of the order we were running behind schedule and I called to the restaurant to make the change with no problem. When I arrived to pick up the order they were so helpful and even carried the order out to my car without hesitation. The food was amazing! All my guests loved it and it was a big hit of the weekend. I stopped in today with my spouse and I ordered the pesto cavatappi with parmesan crusted chicken. My spouse got the new baked tortellini. Both were delicious. They forgot both of our rice crispies, but they quickly rectified the issue.“

“Listen… I went in for a sandwich and walked out questioning my whole life. I tried that pickle sandwich and let me tell you—whoever thought of replacing bread with a giant pickle deserves a Nobel Prize. A Grammy. Maybe even a Grammy.
That thing was crunchy, juicy, and somehow made me feel both healthy and reckless at the same time. I’ve never felt so alive eating a sandwich that wasn’t even technically a sandwich. 10/10 experience.

The workers were cool too—fast, friendly, and acting like handing me a pickle torpedo was just another Tuesday. The vibes inside were great, the place was clean, and I swear the air even smelled like ambition and freshly sliced greatness.

Would I go back? Absolutely. Would I order the pickle sandwich again? Without hesitation.

“Stuck traveling through Midway airport. Woodgrain Pizzeria was just down from my gate. A little caucuses after reading some of the other reviews. I ordered at the front counter and the person was pleasant taking the order. The wait was about 7 - 10 minutes. Sat down at my gate and waited for the pizza to cool down. VERY hot. I have to say, for airport pizza, this place isn't bad. A solid 3.5. I've had worse this week in my travels. It hit the spot after a very long day of airport delays.“
